Displaying decimal number

Question

Dear All;
I just want to get a decimal number (i.e. 2.5), i tried the
Math functions, it didn't solved the problem.
Is there another function which returns decimals.?

DEar Ned;
I am getting the pixels of a scale then converting them into
a pH range (0-14). so, i want the pH reading upto one decimal as
follows:
