Displaying & saving data in matrix involving 2 tables.

Hi all,
I have a matrix with say 3 columns, I need to get the data from a system table & populate the first 2 columns, then let user input the data in to the remaining 1 column. After this I need to save the data of all the 3 columns into a user defined table which is linked to UDO. How do I do this??
Please help me out ... its urgent !!!

3. Fill the DBDatasources with Values using
   - InsertRecord()-Method from DBDatasource-Objekt
   - SetValue()-Method from DBDatasource-Objekt
4. Do oMatrix.LoadFromDatasource() to Fill GUI-Matrix-Objekt
Remember:
- the DBDatasource-Objekt keeps only the Datastructure of the Table, not the values
- you can fill the DBDatasource-Objekt with values you want. There is no direct connection with the Database-Table itself. The only restriktion is to use the Datatype of the specific Column (do not insert a string to a double and so on)
- don´t forget a FlushToDatasource() from Matrix-Object before you read the data from DBDatasource
5. Read the values from DBDatasources with GetValue()-Method from DBDatasource-Objekt
Maybe you make an injection to a SQL-Query (INSERT/UPDATE - Statement) by using the oRecordset.DoQuery("[Query-String]") to access your Usertable

Displaying the data into the UI tables

Hello Experts,
I am new to web dynpro ABAP and I have created the tree with two UI tables(table1 and table2) by using web dynpro ABAP and want to display the data into both the UI tables at the same time just by one click on the item node of the tree.
presently I am able to display the data as follows
1. when I click on the item node the relevant data for the item appears into table1, but not into table2
2. when I select the row of table1 then the revlevant data for item appears into table2.
like this i can able to dispaly the data into both the table.
My Question.
how to display the data at the same time into both the tables table1 and table2 just by one click
on the item node.

Hi,
I am able to invoke the method before the taskflow.
But it is giving me the exception as *"UI Component is Null"* .
The value of the table which I am using to display the data is coming as Null.
Please let me know what could be the issue and how to solve this.

CFChart Displaying False Data

I posted a question previously about grouping CFChart output
that was answered by MikeRoo. I thought it was solved and marked it
as such. However, this morning I discovered that the Chart
contained invalid data -- data that is not in the database. I did
not see a way to change the previous thread to "Unanswered" so I'm
posting this new thread -- for which I apologize ahead of time if
I'm not supposed to do it this way. But this is more of a problem
than the grouping was because it is showing false results.
I want to display a Bar graph with TQs along the X axis
(bottom) and Percentages along the Y axis (side). But I need a
percentage of each InsideTQ and OutsideTQ for each Originator.
What is happening is that I'm getting InsideTQ and OutsideTQ
values for Originators that do not have that TQ. For example:
Originator 00021
TQ 3
InsideTQ 40 percent
OutsideTQ 60 percent
TQ 6
InsideTQ 44 percent
OutsideTQ 56 percent
But what I'm seeing on the graph is that Originator 00021
shows a TQ 5 with an InsideTQ and OutsideTQ value, but there isn't
a TQ 5 for this Originator. This particular Originator should only
have 5 values on the chart, yet there are 13 being displayed for
it. I've double checked the tables, I've created temp tables from
my queries to step through each query and query of query. My
queries are correct and they display the data correctly on the
report table. But the CFChart is showing false data. The good news
is that all of the data that is really is in the database is shown
correctly on the chart...just seems to make up other data.
Attached are my queries, chart, and table. I have a jpg of
the chart if anyone thinks that might help...

Yeah it's a LOT of code...that is why I was trying to give it
to you in pieces, didn't want to scare you off ;-)
Something I tried yesterday: I pulled the CFChart out and
opened it in a new window with just the attached code and it still
displays incorrect data. My best guess on where the data is coming
from -- it is some how ignoring my more specific filters and
returning data for rows where the Originator or TQ is NULL though I
specify not to include those. I use the NULL Originator and TQ
fields for my roll up counts but I don't want them in the chart.
However, when I've found strange values in the chart, they all
point back to a row in the table with a NULL Originator or TQ. Now
on my table, those values are being filtered correctly. So, I'm
still blaming the chart and not my queries...just wish I knew why!?
Again, any time you have when you can help, it is
appreciated. I'm going to lock down the filters so that the users
can only select 1 Originator and/or 1 Object. This way the report
in production will display correctly until we can solve the problem
in the development report.
Side Note: I downloaded a trial version of Chart Director. I
just started looking at it yesterday, spent a few hours trying to
figure out how I would get it to work with my CF site. I'm such a
CF geek that I forget about those other languages...we have .NET,
we have VB, and other assorted development tools so it shouldn't be
too difficult to figure out how to fit it into the current
reporting tool. I'll let you know how it goes...also the book you
suggested "Visual Display of Quantative Information" does that
cover Chart Director? Trying to get our Project Lead to purchase
Chart Director and a few books so I don't bang my head against the
wall on these charts...

Display of data from DB table to screen

i have added two date fields to the table MBEW by including a structure with 2 date fields. i want the data to displayed on the screen when the user retrives data.
when i enter any data it gets saved in the DB table but when i try to read it from screen fields the date fields dont display any date they remain blank. i have set the attributes as input and output for the screen fields .
please tell wats the problem.

You have extended the standard table rt?
So when you added these fields to the screen what is the reference structure you have taken to point to the screen fields.
And does ur work area SAP contains ur custom fields?
and also there is a standard procedure to extend the SAP screen.

Unable to display data no entry in the table without using Model clause

I've an urgent requirement described below :
The previously posted Question has been answerted using Model Clause:
Is there any way out to solve it without using Model clause:
I've a table named as "sale" consisting of three columns : empno, sale_amt and sale_date.
(Please ref. The table script with data as given below)
Now if I execute the query :
"select trunc(sale_date) sale_date, sum(sale_amt) total_sale from sale group by trunc(sale_date) order by 1"
then it displays the data for the dates of which there is an entry in that table. But it does not display data for the
date of which there is no entry in that table.
If you run the Table script with data in your schema, then u'll see that there is no entry for 28th. Nov. 2009 in
sale table. Now the above query displays data for rest of the dates as its are in sale table except for 28th. Nov. 2009.
But I need its presence in the query output with a value of "sale_date" as "28th. Nov. 2009" and that of "total_sale" as
"0".
Is there any means to get the result as I require?
Please help ASAP.

I got sun java studio creator 2(the separate installation not the one in the net beans)....
My question is about displaying data that have been taken from the database.... I know how to display data in a table(just click on the table "bind data" )... but my question is that:
when i want to use a sql statement that taken the data from different table...
how can i display that data in the table(that will be shown in the web) ??? when i click bind data on the table i can only select one table i can't select more than one....
Note:
1) i'm using the rowset for displaying the data in the table, since the sql statement is depending on a condition(i.e. select a from b where c= ? )...
2) i mean by different table is that( i.e. select a from table1,table2 )..

Customizing tables not asking for Customizing Request while saving data

Hi,
I have some customizing tables in my development server (Delivery Class = 'C').
These always used to ask for a Customizing Request whenever data was saved in them.
Suddenly, I have noticed they are no more asking for any Customizing Request. I cross-checked in the Transport Organizer and confirmed that there are no customizing requests of mine which may be already holding any data entries of these tables.
I wonder why this may be happening (believe it to be some basis configuration issue. also asked my basis guy but he has no clue).

My problem is now solved. Let me summarize the problem and the solution now.
-> The customization tables suddenly stopped asking for a request while saving data.
Somehow the settings had been reset, and as Gautham pointed out, it was corrected in the tcode SCC4
-> Most of the tables now worked fine, but still few of them didnt ask for requests
Here, I found out that the developers had chosen "no, or user, recording routine" instead of "standard recording routine". For such tables, when i check in the tcode SE54, menu path Environment -> Maintenance Objects -> Change, I find the Transport category 'No Transport'. Regenerating the maintenance generator choosing "standard recording routine" fixes this and the tables now ask for a customizing request.

Layout is something like this.
Name and Address is capture from KNA1.
Item Details from faglflexa and BSID based on one condition, UMSKZ ne 'X' and 'Y' for the respective KUNNR from KNA1. First Item table.I have taken a separate internal table from print program
Item Details from BSID only based on one condition, UMSKZ eq 'X' and 'Y' for the respective KUNNR from KNA1. Second Item table. I have taken a separate internal table from print program
Calculation based on faglflexa and BSID table on one condition,UMSKZ ne 'X' and 'Y' for the respective KUNNR from KNA1. Third t Item table. Data from the first internal table
The complete thing should be displayed on Smartform for one Customer (kunnr). Then should go to the next customer.
I have a written a code like this, For Example.
loop at kna1 into w_kna1.
Used Table1 in smartform and give a loop to display the item details based on first internal table.
display itemdetails
Used Table2 in smartform and give a loop to display the item details based on second internal table.
display itemdetails.
Used Template to display the item details to display the item details based on first internal table.
endloop.
Now my problem is table 1 is coming fine. table 2 data is getting repeated for all the customers based on 1st customer data, how should i clear the workarea after every customer.
Similar pbm for the template which i'm using.
Please help me on this.

Thanks for replying. I cant use one single table to display the output. There are several conditions in two tables.
I have corrected the error of repetition data. Logic i will mention it below.
loop at kna1 into wa_kna1.
for header data " this is main table
loop at item_1 into wa_item_1. " for first item table
Data displayed.
loop at item_2 into wa_item_2. " for 2nd item table
Data displayed.
endloop. " for 2nd item table
data calculation based on first item table.
endloop. " this is for first item table
endloop." this is for 2nd item table.
The data which is there in the 2nd item table should display data based on the kna1 loop. Data is displaying properly but not in 1 table, say for example.
kunnr- 1000010
there are 9 items.
All the 9 items should be in 1 table. But here it is displaying 1 item in 1 table till 9 items in 9 tables.
I need to club all the 9 items in 1 table.
One more doubt is 2 items have same belnr (document number) i need to club this and add the wmbtr field and then display as 1 record.
So final records in 2nd item table should be 8 not 9.
Can you please help me on this.

Scenario....displaying header data in tables....

i have a scenerio in which i m displaying the data with header and after that in the next line i need the data from another table with a diffrent header the data being related to one of the field of the above displayed data.I require this to continue for different data...
Let me explain you with an example.....i display the data from sflight with header...which contains carrid,connid,currency,price etc...and now in the next line i require booking details from sbook for the same carrid to be displayed with a header...i want this sequence to be repeated for each carrid in sflight.
i hope i get some help from you people.....

To Display a date field in TSTCT table

Dear Experts,
Recently we got a request to have a date field in TSTCT table. So, that when ever the new transaction is created the date will automatically display in TSTCT table. Now there is only three fields in the table. There is no further settings to regarding the display of date field. Is there any possible cases/BADI's which helps to display the Date field in TSTCT Table. Please help me with possible solutions.

It is not possible adding field through BADI or exit. But you go into /nSE11 for this table and go to Technical Settings, if the check box 'Log Data Changes' is set then you may be able to display a log of changes made to entries in this table using /nSCU3.

Yes, it is very much possible, But as per SAP suggestion we never update any SAP table directly, as many other tables are link with each other, so the better way is to update any table by means of calling BAPI's.
Suggestions :
1.Gather all changes reqd into an int table. Then use an ABAP statement - Export to memory and then submit and return command which executes a z program. Inside the zprogram, write a small code which will import the int table and then update the ztable.
2.If you have the table in your BSP as an internal table (example: wt_mytable), and the ABAP table is called mytable, you can use this code:modify mytable from wt_mytable.
This will add new entries and modify existing ones, based on the contents of your internal table wt_mytable.

Hi,
        Its possible to display table data without using ALV and table element.
       Every time i am fetching data based on (customer,status) fields and displaying these data in my output using alv
       (every time i am fetching single row data ),
       But problem is alv occupying more space in the output , i want to display data part only i dont want field names,
       settings and header data etc..things.
      Give solution to display data part..

Does you mean that you need ALV without default Function Toolbar...? If this is the case, the easy solution would have been to use Table Element rather. But, if you need to use ALV only without Function Toolbar, you can do away with that as well.
In that case, after calling GET_MODEL, you need to add few more lines of codes to achieve your goal. Those lines are --

    LV_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_STD_FUNCTIONS~SET_FILTER_FILTERLINE_ALLOWED( ABAP_FALSE ).
    LV_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_STD_FUNCTIONS~SET_DISPLAY_SETTINGS_ALLOWED( ABAP_FALSE ).
    LV_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_STD_FUNCTIONS~SET_VIEW_LIST_ALLOWED( ABAP_FALSE ).
    LV_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_STD_FUNCTIONS~SET_SORT_HEADERCLICK_ALLOWED( ABAP_FALSE ).
    LV_VALUE->IF_SALV_WD_STD_FUNCTIONS~SET_HIERARCHY_ALLOWED( ABAP_FALSE ).

Here as you can easily notice that LV_VALUE is instantiated on CL_SALV_WD_CONFIG_TABLE. Now, using this LV_VALUE, you set standard functions as False to dis-allow their display.
