Displaying String in two colors.....

Hello....
I'm working on chat project. How can i show string in different colors in JTextArea control.
Hope you understand my question.

You may use a JTextPane - here is an example:

import javax.swing.JFrame;
import javax.swing.JTextPane;
import javax.swing.text.SimpleAttributeSet;
import javax.swing.text.StyleConstants;

     public Frame3(){
          super("Frame1");

          JTextPane field = new JTextPane();
