Displaying "uploading" and then "initializing" progress bar?

Can somebody point me to the right direction here. I am uploading images and its showing "uploading" status, then server resizes images and i want to show "initializing" status while its resizing. And i want to show two different preloaders for uploading and initializing.

You can use ProgressBar for both. You might want to set indeterminate mode
for the resizing unless you have info from the server about how far along it
is.

I uploaded 3 audiobooks from iTunes to my iPhone 5 with the latest ios7 on it. Each of them only plays the first 15 mins of the playback and then silence, the bar shows the book is still playing but no sound, any ideas? Thanks
What happens when playing the same books in iTunes. Is there sound after 15 min?
If also silent in iTunes, check the info tab where you can see the item is an audiobook, etc. Check the volume bar, this normally is on the zero point.
When an audio book is really low in audio, I tend to move this to the plus side (+1=max), but for some strange reason this bar was at -1 in some books I had and they also seemed to play in absolute silence. -
Crocodoc HTML5 document viewer:Upload and then display document
Dear all,
Did anyone try to upload and then display documents using HTML5 technology. Also recently i came across SAP is using Crocodoc,"an HTML5 documents to display their presentations". I welcome all of your thoughts and suggestions.

PrabaharanI have the same need as vudean. I don't understand the security issue. If I type a document using Pages or whatever, why can't I upload the document to a web site? I think Apple should make the standard web "file upload control" available to iPad users.
I understand that there should be some limitations, but it should be possible to upload standard user files. I can upload them to Dropbox, so I don't se the big difference.
Does Apple read this? If not, where can I propose this feature to them? -
We have a Flex 1.5 app our clients use. 99.9999% of the time
when our sales people go on a demo for a potential client, the app
loads just fine. That .0001% of the time, the initial progress bar
gets to a certain percentage and just sticks. In one situation,
having the sales person demoing use or install Firefox on the
client’s machine did the trick. We have a similar situation
with a potential client and we have tried everything. We’ve
cleared caches on both browsers, we’ve uninstalled and
reinstalled the Flash plug-ins for both IE and
Firefox…we’ve upgraded to IE 7…no matter what we
do, the app loads up and stops at 8%. It loads for every other
existing client and every other demo sales goes on…it loads
on all of our local machines in-office…this one single
client’s office cannot load the app…and the best part
is, it loaded for them last week when the sales first went to demo.
They went in for round two this past week and the app will not pass
8% on any of their machines.
Any suggestions?I have seen behavior like this when an application is near
the 32k limit.
How are you running the app? Always from a Flex server? If
so, a suggestion for debugging is to compile the swf on a maching
the works, and then call it from a custom wrapper.
It might be worth trying this i reverse as well, saving the
swf on the non-functional system and running it directly from a
wrapper on a system that it has been working.
The 32k limit issue involves the compilation on the Flex
server, If a swf get generted and compiles and run successfully on
one system, it should run on all.
Hmm, even before that, try running the app with debug=true,
on the non-functional system. The debug switch causes code to get
generated into the swf that changes the way it get compiled. Often,
this will either overcome the 32k problem, or will display it
clearly.

Quit the messages app and reset your phone.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
After the phone restarts go into Messages and delete the thread containing the problem message. -
I tried to reset my iphone 5 from the phone and not a computer. I have had a blank screen with the apple logo and a full progress bar. I can not get my phone to restart. What can I do?

I just upgraded my ipad to 6.0. I can no longer expand my audio files so that I can move forwards and backwards. I used to get a diagonal arrow to enlarge the screen and then have a bar that I can move to navigate. Can you help?

I am listening to embedded training files on the Quick Time player (I think). They cannot be copied to protect the information. You only have the option of listening. I used to be able to click on the Q in the audio strip and it would provide a diagonal arrow and this would allow me to expand the bar to a full screen. I then had the bar which would allow me to navigate in case I wanted to listen again or in case I wanted to move forward. After my upgrade, I can no longer expand the strip to a full screen with the adjuster. Now I have not chance to take a break in listening to these audios and most of them are at least an hour long. Thanks for your help. -

In stage 9 of Restore my iTouch shows the apple and a stuck progress bar showing about 10% completion. This after 1/2 hour. What now?

Following Troubleshooting security software will frequently resolve this issue. This issue can be caused by the default packet size being set incorrectly. There may be third-party software installed that modifies the default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize or MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entry into the Registry. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance in adjusting this TcpWindowSize values. Typically the default packet size is modified by 3G cellular network card software, ISP communication software, or Internet speed download optimization software. There are legitimate reasons to change the TCP/IP packet size and not use the Windows default settings (for example, network traffic optimization, home/broadband optimization, enterprise app optimization such as database apps, Exchange, and more). Deleting the "TcpWindowSize" or "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize" entries in Windows Registry could affect the system's performance with other apps or on their network connections. Deleting the customized TCP/IP settings may require the reinstallation of any third-party applications that had modified the TCP/IP settings from the Windows default settings.
There are two ways to resolve this:
You can follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) , or follow the steps below to manually find and remove TcpWindowSize and MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entries from the Registry.
For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7: Go to the C:\Windows folder and launch regedit.
Go to Edit > Find.
Search for "TcpWindowSize" entries. There are typically multiple entries of TcpWindowSize/GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize spread throughout the entire Registry. If "TcpWindowSize" exists, one or more third-party applications have changed the user's default Windows settings for TCP/IP.
Go to File and select Export. This step will export a copy of the Registry that can be used as a backup of the original settings.
Delete the "TcpWindowSize" entry.
Search for the next "TcpWindowSize" entry and delete each one until the Registry no longer has any "TcpWindowSize" entries.
Close Regedit, restart the PC, and test.
If you are uncertain as to why these registry entries exist and the PC is a business computer, contact your network administrator and determine what values TCP/IP can be set in their Windows Registry setting so that the PC can update or restore an iOS device rather than deleting the "TcpWindowSize" entry.
If editing the registry does not resolve the issue, restoring on a different computer that did not install the communication software is the step most likely to resolve this issue. -
Well as I said in the "question", I did a reset of the settings on my IPad2. however when it powered back on from resetting. it lets the the logo screen with the progress bar under it. The progress bar gets about 1/4 of an inch from the left then stops. After a few mins Ipad shuts off then turns on to the logo screen, then goes to the logo/progress bar screen, does whats said above, then off. That cycle just repeats over and over. Any help with this would be appreciated.

The progress bar then disappears and the system never boots up. How can I get this machine to boot without a start-up disc?
Are there any keyboard shortcuts available?I think you'll need those grey original install disks as it sounds like your harddrive is corrupted.

...and so on...How must I implement something like it?Not precisely that way, but just off the top of my head, you would have to have a handle to the proccess (server) in the first window, then have a monitor program that allows you take this handle and end it. I would make this monitor program be the gateway to starting and stopping your server. To run a .bat file you can use runtime.exec().
