Displaying Web images

Question

I've set up a Creator project where I create a chart as a jpeg file, and write it to my web site.
I have a page on my project where I can then view this jpeg later on.
Although the new jpeg is being created in the correct location, when I run my project I am still seeing the original version of the jpeg, i.e. as it was at the time I set up the page in Creator, and bound the image to the url.
It seems to put the image in <myproject>/web/resources - this is not being updated in sync with the updated image on my web site.
The Help files say :
# Enter URL. Enter a URL to a web location for the file. For example, enter the following URL:
http://forum.java.sun.com/im/logo_java_grey.gif .
- but this does not explain whether this is then a fixed or a dynamic image.
I would be grateful for some help on this !

I think that images are cached in the JVM,
the following example work:
    public String getArticleImageUrl ( long articleOID) {
     articleImageUrl = "";
     try {
          byte[] img = aiab.getImage ();
          // Create a temp file
          ServletContext context = ( ServletContext ) getExternalContext ().getContext ();
          String realPath = context.getRealPath ("/resources");
          File file = File.createTempFile ( "ArtImg_", ".jpg", new File ( realPath ) );
          file.deleteOnExit (  );
          OutputStream out = new BufferedOutputStream ( new FileOutputStream ( file ) );
          out.write ( img );
          out.close ();
          articleImageUrl = "/resources/" + file.getName ();
