Distorted iPhone 6 LCD

hello. I had a problem with my iphone 6 lcd display. Suddenly while using my iphone, the display got distorted with vertical bars of different colors. Also I wasn't able to touch the screen and unlock it after locking it. I restarted it a couple of times but the problem was there and I was not even able to enter my passcode to start the phone. After 3rd reboot it got ok.
Is this a problem?
Anybody knows the cause?
will it be covered under warranty?

IPhone LCD hairline mark please help!!!

Alright,
Right now I am sick to my stomach. I turn on my iphone to check a phone number and there is a hairline crack across the LCD of the phone.
Its not the glass the glass is perfect and I searched online and only found things about the glass being cracked not the LCD itself.
It kill me.....I have never dropped my phone had a case on the phone from day 1. Have taken amazing care of the phone for the 2 months I have had it. Never been dropped. The phone does not have even one mark on it its perfect.
Now on Monday I am going to bring it to the apple store but I am sure they have heard a million times from people that the screen just broke so they will think I am lying to them. The problem is in my case that is true! The phone is in pristine condition always had a case on it NOT 1 MARK on the phone at all, just this huge crack on the screen and I'm freaking out.
The thing is I would not be this upset if I dropped it because then it would be my fault but I didnt do anything and I feel that wont believe me.
Anyone have any input, Do you think they will believe me because the other parts on the phone doesn't have a mark? Have any advice what I should tell the store
PLEASE!!! It kills me because this really was not my fault!

Like previous posters said, an Apple Genius will have no problem determining whether your iPhone was truly pampered before this incident. It's pretty obvious if the outside of your iPhone is in impeccable condition that this is a manufacturing defect.
Hopefully you haven't even exposed your iPhone to heavy moisture, causing the water indicators to go off. My girlfriend had her iPhone in the bathroom when she took a shower, and set off the sensors; they're pretty sensitive.
Schedule an appointment with the Apple Store, and let us know how it went.

IPhone LCD display problem?

Hi everyone,
Recently a friend has encountered an issue with their iPhone 5. The display of the phone seems to be damaged as the bottom three quarters of the screen are a mix of pink and black stripes, both thick and thin in width. Could this be an issue with the LCD display and need a replacement?
Please don't confuse this issue with the pink interference lines occurring on some iPhone cameras.

Thanks for the question. It definitely sounds like there may be a hardware issue with the device. However, to completely isolate to hardware let’s first try restoring the device as new:
iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device

After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Test to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device may have caused unexpected behavior.
If the issue is still present, you may want to contact Apple Support.

IPhone LCD problem

Hi, i've got an iPhone 3GS, my step mother droped it in the toilet a year ago and the screen wouldn't work. But now a year later it does, sometimes it works perfectly but sometime I get a screen with, white, grey and pink sort of colours. And the screen comes back to normal at about 50%.
Can anybody help me, should change de LCD screen or is it maybe an other internal problem in the iPhone?

Iphone LCD screen dead spot

Hey I have an iphone that I got from a friend as a gift never activated it but it seem as though it has dead spots how do I replace the LCD screen and will apple take it back. I don't know, I had it for a while without even looking at because to be honest I liked my blackberry. So how do I go about getting this fix; do I have to pay extra to get this fix or is it unfixable. I don't have a reciept and my friend didn't keep it. So should I bother with this phone because I'm not going to activate or bother signing up for a plan if this thing isn't going to work.

I've had my iPhone since August with no problems. I love it. Just this morning the very bottom part of the touch screen became unresponsive. The rest of the screen is fine. It's like the sensor in just that part of the screen has gone dead for some reason. Of course this also happens to be the part of the screen where you "slide" to answer a call, and also access the phone, mail, safari, and iPod icons. Also the "slide" to unlock the phone is located in this area. Basically this malfunction has rendered my iPhone unusable. I have turned it off and on, and also reset and restored it through iTunes. None of that works. It appears to be a hardware issue and not software. I wonder if this is a problem that will occur widespread in iPhones after several months use, or if my problem is somewhat isolated?
I'm frustrated as EVERYTHING is on my iPhone. I have an appointment tomorrow at the Genius Bar to have it checked out. Thank goodness I'm near an Apple store or I would be even more frustrated. I also have everything updated and saved on iTunes so it will be easy to personlize my iPhone again once the problem is fixed.

Hi all, i just recently traded in my BROKEN iphone to apple and they gave me a new one. I synced it up fine at started to play around with it just to make sure it worked. I noticed that the color black is not showing up correctly in ipod mode. When you look at it head on it seems distorted. Then if you tilt the iphone alot it appears to be normal. IPhone LCD is not working

Hi guys,
I have an 8GB iPhone.The screen and digitizer need to be replaced. I found a used 4GB iPhone and thought it might work. My question is that do the 8GB and 4GB iPhones have the same screens ? Can I take the 4GB's screen and put it into the 8GB ??

If the 8 gb is an original iPhone, it has the same screen as the 4 gb.

Iphone lcd not working

My iphone 4s has blue and black lines, the phone still functions because i can still pick up calls. I have no warrenty on my phone, if i take it to the apple store today can they fix it or replace it?

HELP! I want to know whether my hand-me-down iPhone 4 is SIM/carrier-locked or not. I was given an iPhone 4 which I think was purchased outside the Philippines.

I was given an iPhone 4 which I believed was purchased outside the Philippines. The previous owner had it jailbroken but something went wrong so it was stuck on DFU mode. So when it was given to me, I had it restored and updated via iTunes to iOS 5.1. I bought a micro-sim and inserted it on the sim tray. iTunes was able to detect the SIM card number and there was NO MESSAGE like the sim card is not supported whatsoever which can be usually seen in unsupported simcard. I thought everything went smoothly. But when I tried to set-up the phone, the SLIDE TO UNLOCK button is unresponsive. It doesn't work so I was stuck there and my iPhone cannot be accessed because of that. What shall I do? I have tried doing the hard reset several times, it still didn't work. I have tried restoring my iPhone three times but the slide to unlock is still unresponsive. I think the iPhone was able to detect my carrier simcard since it shows on the top corner the name of my carrier, mobile signal and 3g network. Now I am wondering as to why the slide to unlock button is unresponsive? Was it because of my iPhone LCD or was it because the iPhone is locked? Please help.

according to some blogs, if the sim card you are using is unsupported, iTunes will show you a message that the sim card you are using is unsupported. But when i opened itunes, I didn't see that message. Instead, it was able to detect my sim card number. So I guess, the simcard is supported. It isn't the original sim, though. Then the phone was able to detect the mobile carrier, mobile and 3g signals. So iam wondering whether my phone is locked or was it a hardware problem?

IOS Voice Control not working after iOS 6 update

Updated to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and voice control doesn't seem to be working anymore. When I press and hold the power button I get nada. I'm dependent on Voice Control because my iPhone LCD isn't working right and I can't see what's on the screen. Anyone else having issues with Voice Conttol

I am having the exact same issue with my HTC one, which started immediately after updating to sense 6. Very annoying since I do not have unlimited mobile data plan, so I have to manually turn mobile data on each time I want to send or receive mms texts, including texts with multiple recipients. Did not have this issue before the update. Love this phone, my very first smartphone. But it is hard to believe that I was able to send pics over text with my old flip phone with no data plan. And now I can't with the HTC. I just can't have the mobile data on at all Times. It has become very inconvenient ever since the upgrade. Wish I had never done sense 6.

the videos i imported to iMovie from iMac look horizontally distorted. i took them with an iPhone4. when importing them, i chose 16:9 ratio, this may be the reason. i can not change the ratio to 3:2. Thanks.

Best Way To Apply Protective Plastic/Shield

I bought the Power Support Crystal Film today for my (yet to be opened) iPhone. So before I open it, which will be later tonight, what's the best/effective way to apply the protective plastic on the iPhone LCD? Please advise. As I don't want to get any air bubble or small dust specks underneath the plastic.

When I first bought my iPhone back in June I bought a protective case for it... but it was too bulky to fit in my front pocket... and it took away the "bling" effect of the phone. A few days later I decided to ditch the case... and have had no protection since. The phone looks as new as it did the day I bought it. Mind you I don't put anything else in the same pocket.
Think about it... would you buy a Cadillac and then go to Wal-Mart's Auto department to dress it up?
