  • Use a C++ WinRT Component with external LIB in a C# Universal App

    Hello,
    I created two projects : a C++ WinRT Component project and a C# Universal app that references directly the C++ project.
    If I call a method from my class in the C++ Windows Runtime Component project from C# it's working fine.
    I got the following error in the C# Universal App project when I reference an external LIB in the C++ project : "Additional information: The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)".
    Do I need to reference somehow the LIB (I got a DLL with the LIB too) in the C# project too?
    Thanks,
    Adrien.

    Hi Adrien,
    What do you mean by "reference an external LIB in the C++ project", the C++ project you mentioned here is a normal C++ project?
    As I know we have to check the option support in Windows Store App.

  • Problem with creation of jar with external libraries

    hi guys, I've no problem with creation of jar,i use this command:
    jar -mcf MANIFEST.MF NameFile.jar *.class
    my file manifest is this:
    Manifest-Version: 1.0
    Created-By: Me
    Main-Class: NameFile
    Now,I've to make a jar file,but i have to use some external libraries in jar format.
    I've read on sun tutorial and i've added to manifest this line:
    Class-Path: dt.jar formshelp.jar formsrt.jar jh.jar looks-1.3.1.jar substance.jar TableLayout.jar
    But the jar file doesn't work, neither with a double click nor with console...
    Someone can help me?Thanks!:)

    sorry but,the external libraries that i use are in .jar,what i've to do to include these libraries in my jar?One of 3 things
    1) Take them out of the jar, and put them in a folder, preferably a folder in the same folder as the jar
    2) Write a custom classloader to load classes from nested jars
    3) Extract the contents of all the dependency jars, and jar them all up with your own code
    The first is almost always the most preferable, the second one is doable but brittle and resistent to updating dependencies ( you have to release everything for any changes you need, even if it's not a change in your own code ) and the third one is tedious and suffers from the same robustness problems of the second, not to mention that a lot of software licences prohibit you from actually doing it. Do the first one, it's by far the most common and easiest to maintain. I really wouldn't advise the third option, ever, though. Any activity that reduces the modularity of your application is ill-advised

  • Delopy JAR with DLL lib

    Hi,
    I have finished a JAVA program which include a lib "jRFC12.DLL". It works fine in development but after I compile my program into a JAR. The system catch an exception error :

    My question is :
    How can I include the lib files into the JAR ?

  • JavaFX with external libraries

    Hi,
    I would like to get some help about compiling a JavaFX code with external libraries. I've searched around a lot, but cant find the solution.
    Basically I have a JavaFX application, that uses images (they are under the src/ folder as they suggest it) and uses external .jar files, AND these jar files uses other external files (not jars). I want to run the application in desktop mode first, so now I am interested in a solution that makes it work on PC.
    I am using Netbeans to develop and run (works everything fine when running from IDE), and using javafxpackager to compile, when I want to run without the IDE.
    When I compile with Netbeans, the generated jar and jnlp files can run ONLY from the dist/ folder, if I copy it somewhere else in my winchester, it does not start.
    I have find something about "signing jars", so I have to make the jars signed to be able to run them AND to be able to link to the image files that the application uses.
    So I have 2 problems/questions with this situation:
    - I have to use external jars and those jars uses external files, but when I start the app, it seems its __DIR__ variable is not set correctly, but I've read that I have to make the application "signed" to solve this problem, but
    - if I make the JavaFX signed, it requires that all other jars have to be signed? (it sounds logical of course)
    So, my final question is, do I have to make the application (and all other jars) signed, to be able to use external jars and files or not (if I want to run as a desktop application)?
    And if I have to make them signed, then will the relative linking work correctly?
    So whats the best way to make it work (using external files and jars)?
    Thanks for any help, and sorry for the long post (and for my bad english) :)
    Cheers

    When I compile with Netbeans, the generated jar and jnlp files can run ONLY from the dist/ folder, if I copy it somewhere else in my winchester, it does not start.Unfortunately JNLP requires the base location to be stored in the JNLP file. While that supposedly makes JNLP distributed stuff more secured, it also make them cumbersome and time-consuming to use.
    Futhermore, JNLP files generated by NetBeans reference a local web server that only runs when NetBeans is on.
    That explains why you just simply cannot move the app to the location you want. I you move them, you have to open them (any text editor) and modify the codebase field (possibly the homepage's href too).
    If you want to use only 1 single JNLP, all your JARs references in that JNLP need to be signed with the very same certificate (certificate A).
    Unfortunately, this is not good most of the time as some external lib (generally the ones coming from Sun/Oracle) are already signed and you cannot resign them.
    The other option is that you can make your main JNLP reference other sub-JNLP that are placed at the same location. Each of these sub-JNLP can reference 1 or more JARs that are signed with a different certificate (1st JNLP used certificate B, 2nd JNLP used certificate C, etc.).
    An example adapted from my own main JNLP:
    <resources>
        <java version="1.6+"/>
        <jar href="http://<intranet web server>/<my main JAR file>" download="eager" main="true"/>
        <extension href="http://dl.javafx.com/1.3/javafx-rt.jnlp" name="JavaFX 1.3.x Runtime"/>
        <extension href="http://<intranet web server>/l2fprod-7.3.jnlp" name="l2fprod-7.3"/>
        <extension href="http://<intranet web server>/JFXtras-0.7.jnlp" name="JFXtras-0.7"/>
        ...and JFXtras-0.7.jnlp:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <jnlp spec="1.0+" codebase="http://<intranet web server>" href="JFXtras-0.7.jnlp">
        <information>
            <title>JFXtras-0.7</title>
            <vendor>JFXtras</vendor>
            <homepage href="http://code.google.com/p/jfxtras/"/>

        </information>
        <security>
           <all-permissions/>
        </security>
        <resources>
           <jar href="lib/JFXtras-Common-0.7rc2.1.jar" main="false" download="eager" size="1309380"/>
           <jar href="lib/JFXtras-Controls-0.7rc2.jar" main="false" download="eager" size="1453233"/>
           <extension name="MigLayout-3.7" href="MigLayout-3.7.jnlp"/>
           <extension name="SwingWorker-1.2" href="SwingWorker-1.2.jnlp"/>
        </resources>
        <component-desc/>
    </jnlp>Both JARs files in that particular JNLP can be signed with a different certificate from the one of the main jar, same wit the JARs listed in the 2 sub-JNLPs that are referenced here.
    Note: of course, currently, JARs provided by JFXtras are note signed, so I end having to sign them myself anyway, but you get the idea.
    Unfortunately NetBeans does not generate such setup so you'll have to find a tool or develop something that does that for you.
    Perhaps you should try to post your question in the web start forum Java Web Start & JNLP as well but be prepared to face the all knowledgeable and always helpful but not very user-friendly and definitely not patient with new comers Andrew Thompson.
    Note that I've never used external files so I do not know if signing the JAR would fix that particular issue (I do not think so).
    Overall I do not like Java Web Start, as said before, it's cumbersome, time-consuming to use, poorly documented, with basically very little to no packaging/helper tool, prone to failure if you make the slightest mistake in the JNLP(s) definition (having a nebulous documentation of its feature does not help) and they've introduced a stream of bugs and errors with each sub-release of Java 6 for the past year and the half that makes programmer's life a hell and JWS a joke compared to other deployment technologies used by competitors.

  • Problem with external library DC

    Hi,

  • E-Recruitment 6.0-Distribute postings to external organizations

    Team,
    We plan to implement E-recruit ver 6 via distributed model, where our
    SAP-HR(ECC5.) system will feed info to E-Recruit(ver 6) on a seperate box (ALE). We are in the initial set up phase so my knowledge of the eRec functionality is minimal.
    1. The business has a need to electronically distribute postings to external organizations via eRecruiting module. Currently we have a manual process where we print postings and then fax them to several external organizations, who then in turn post (the hardcopy) on their bulletin boards. Is there an option within eRecruiting to do this by for e.g. selecting the postings and then emailing them to a distribution list ?
    2. If the above is possible, how do you manage your distribution list ? Do you have one or multiple lists for different purposes ?
    3. There is a need to treat internal applicants differently than external applicants (e.g. some postings are first posted internally before they are made available for external applicants). However if we decide not to use portals, but an external facing eRecruiting box, how would we be able to distinguish internal applicants vs external applicants ?
    Thank you for your info in advance
    Nash Tejani
    City of vancouver

    Hello Nash,
    so far I see nothing in your requirements which is far away from a usual e-recruiting rollout project. I am confident you will be able to solve the mentioned things.
    Now to the points in detail:
    1) Transfere posting information to external entities
    This is not working out of the box as the requirement is a diferent for each rollout, but the infrastructure supports this. You create individual posting channels for the jobboards, agencies, etc. and develop a customer own publisher.
    Depending on your needs you can send the publication as email attachment, send the information as plain text in the email body or often used for job board integration you can create an XML file and put it on a share where the job board is reading it from periodically. Of course there is also an XI publishng service but IMHO if you do not have a running XI infrastructure and a bored XI developer that is a bit oversized. What is the best for you depends on you needs. We also offer an tool for customers and I think there is another solution from aspire hr. If it is better to buy or just built during rollout depends on the comnlexity of your needs. An easy mail publisher sending the publication should take an e-recruiting specialist not more than 2 or 3 days.
    2) distribution to different receivers
    In addition to the things said above you can define different channels which have there own receivers to manage who get a certain publication. Of course if you have 15 different entities which get the publications you might need to add some more management in coding to reduce the work for the user.
    3) internal vs. external candidates
    It is not necessary to use EP for running E-Recruiting. You can directly link the pages for external and internal candidates anywhere on you internet / intranet pages.
    As you already mentioned you will set up an ALE so you will create inernal candidates for all employees in the system. The system is able to differ between internal and external candidates on application. To achieve your requirement you would created an requisition with 1 or 2 postings (depending on if you use the same texts for internal and external) and you create 2 publications. One for the internal channel starting at the 1st of the month and the external starting at the 15th of the month. That way the position would appear in the internal job market 2 weeks before it appears on the external so these first 2 weeks only internl candidate would be able to apply.
    Best regards

  • How to run JavaFX jar with JRE7 on MAC OS Lion 10.7.5 ?

    java -version is always point to 1.6.
    Then I searched for Java Preferences to point the current JRE 1.7 but I could find Java Preferences at Applications -> Utilities -> Java -> Java Preferences.
    I would like to know -- how to run JavaFX jar with JRE7 on MAC OS Lion 10.7.5? Is their any other way to run the JavaFX application JAR with JRE7?

    Do I need to download the whole JAVA 1.7 on MAC to run the JAR? No
    Can not I run the Jar file with Jre7?Yes, you can.
    This may be because I have downloaded the JRE 1.7Yep, that's correct, the java_home command only works for jdk's - sorry for the confusion.
    For jre7+ versions, only a single Oracle jre version is allowed to be installed on the machine at a time - making a tool like java_home redundant for jre checking.
    Weirdly, jre7u10 does not supplant the Apple Java on the command line path by default. If you just type java -v, then the Apple java version will displayed if you have an old Java 6 from Apple and a new Oracle jre7+.
    The Oracle jre is always located under (also somewhat strangely):
    /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/javaTo test jar launching, I used the willow JavaFX browser pre-release jar available here:
    http://code.google.com/p/willow-browser/downloads/detail?name=Willow-0.1-prerelease.jar
    Then I launched the jar from the command line using:
    /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java -jar Willow-0.1-prerelease.jar The JavaFX jar ran fine on jre7 with the above machine.
    The test machine was running Mac OS X 8 with Oracle jre7u10 installed as well as the Apple Java 6 runtime, but no Oracle jdk7+ installed.

    Nested Exception is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/el/ELException
    at org.apache.myfaces.shared_tomahawk.config.MyfacesConfig.<clinit>(MyfacesConfig.java:80).
    if any faces problem previously, please help me out in debugging this issue

    Back to the actual problem:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/el/ELException The given class is missing in the classpath during runtime. Add that class, or at least the JAR file with that class, to the classpath of the runtime environment, then you're fine.

  • Problem with protocol.jar with weblogic

    atg10.0.3 and weblogic 11g on 64bit linux.
    I've been plagued by this problem with ATG's protocol jar. While it loads the jar when starting up startWeblogic.sh it does not get loaded when starting a managed server thus i get the following errors:
    **** Error Fri Jun 15 15:56:43 MDT 2012 1339797403444 / Unable to start service "/atg/scenario/ScenarioManager": atg.nucleus.ServiceException: The configuration file XMLFile(/atg/scenario/scenarioManager.xml) could not be read: java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: dynamosystemresource
    **** Error Fri Jun 15 15:56:43 MDT 2012 1339797403544 /atg/scenario/ScenarioManager Unable to combine messaging information from the process manager component /atg/scenario/ScenarioManager. The process manager has not been classified yet so it cannot be determined if global messages should be listened for. This error indicates a problem with component startup order - the /atg/scenario/ScenarioManager component has been started before the /atg/dynamo/messaging/MessagingManager component
    **** Error Fri Jun 15 15:56:43 MDT 2012 1339797403583 /atg/dynamo/messaging/MessagingManager An exception occurred while trying to parse XML definition file "XMLFile(/atg/dynamo/messaging/dynamoMessagingSystem.xml)" java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: dynamosystemresource
    Following instructions has led me to place the protocol.jar from DAS/lib to the root of my domain directory and then apply the classpath entry in startWeblogic.sh script. protocol.jar shows up at the top of this scripts SDTOUT. But I cannot seem to get it included in the production.out logs when starting the managed server.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    -Kip

    Yes I figured this out. The problem was the version of weblogic. I was using 1.3.6 when it should have been 1.3.5. After changing out the version, I no longer had problems with protocol.jar.
    Thanks!

  • Distributed cache with a backing-map as another distributed cache

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to create a distributed cache with a backing-map-schem with another distributed cache with local-storage disabled ?
    Please let me know how to configure this type of cache.

    Hi Cameron,
    I am trying to create a distributed-schem with a backing-map schem. is it possible to configure another distributed queue as a backing map scheme for a cache.
    <distributed-scheme>
         <scheme-name>MyDistCache-2</scheme-name>
         <service-name> MyDistCacheService-2</service-name>

  • External lib call exits on error, which causes Labviews Solaris to exit completely.

    I have an external lib which VI's make calls to.
    When my function follows the error path, it makes a
    call to another lib which does an exit(11).
    This in turn causes Labviews 6.0.2 (Solaris 8).
    I have the same libs on NT, and Labviews gives a popup
    dialog with an error string.
    Anyone know how to prevent Labviews from exiting???
    I cannot change the 3rd library.
    Thanks!

    You might try to install a signal handler. I don't remember the syntax,
    but you have to have a C style function pointer, and you call something
    like InstallSignalHandler.
    You might want to install it, call the faulty function, then set it back
    to its initial setting.

  • Problem with External Library

    Hi Everybody
    I'm using NW04s (7.0) sp 11 and I'm having problem using an <a href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/jexcelapi/">external jar</a>
    for reading and writing to excel files. (I already used this jar with a regluar WD project and now I want to use it in a Web Dynpro DC project).
    I tried using <a href="/people/valery.silaev/blog/2005/09/14/a-bit-of-impractical-scripting-for-web-dynpro blog</a> and <a href="/people/bala.krishnan2/blog/2006/09/25/bid-adieu-to-bots--using-captchas Blog</a>.
    I tryed following both step by step, but when I tryed to use my project I get Class Not Found Error. The library is being created but it doesn't contain any jars.
    I'll will give ten points for anyone who will guide me step by step how to deploy an external library in NW04s
    Maybe something changed in this version??? Or this Jar isn't suitable for SAP J2ee server
    Regards
                Omer

    I tried this blog and had 2 problems.
    1.)
    I didn't understand this part from the blog
    "Caveat confector:
    One should always remember this significant and valid point: 'Use ONLY DC Builds to create the deployable archive if you work with assembly public parts."
    What should  I 'DC Build' the  'Web Dynpro DC' or the 'external library DC'?
    It isn't clear.
    2.)
    When I tried now to do it, I followed the blog and I get this warning when trying to build External Library DC.
    "17/06/2007 10:02:09 /userOut/Development Component (com.sap.ide.eclipse.component.provider.listener.DevConfListener) [Thread[ModalContext,5,main]] WARNING: jexecel_lib: Compute DC build order: skipping DC that could not be loaded: MyComponents:sap.com/jexecel_lib. Exception: Failed to read component definition from local file MyComponents:sap.com/jexecel_lib : Cannot read component definition. File does not exist: D:\Documents and Settings\omers\.dtc\LocalDevelopment\DCs\sap.com\jexecel_lib\_comp\.dcdef (Cannot read component definition. File does not exist: D:\Documents and Settings\omers\.dtc\LocalDevelopment\DCs\sap.com\jexecel_lib\_comp\.dcdef)"
    what is the reason, for this warning?
