Do i have to send a confirmation that i a m a student every semester or is my option safe for a year?

i have a CC student subscription in germany for 19,99€ a month. my time as a student either ends at the end of march 2015 or - if i must prolong it for several reasons - will end in october 2015. my contract with adobe ends in june 2015. so what happend if my student time ends in march? will i be charged with the full price for the three following months then? or can i end it exactly when march is over?

The payment is per year, so it's only relevant that you are eligible when your credentials are checked. It wouldn't matter if you dropped out a week after the purchase. You'd still pay the same price.

Audiobooks go in Music, not ibooks. Is the book you are talking about not an audiobook but an .epub or some other format where you read text?

Once on the Photo Downloader, I select the pictures, chose the folder and click on "Get Media" and all the photos get downloaded. Today I folled the same procedure as always, but ZI'm gettig an error message that reads"Import Failed" followed by another message that reads "Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this Catalog." I'm puzzled by this message and don't know what to do o get my photos. Any suggestions?

The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

Hoping someone can help. I purchased a Big Fish Game app from itunes for my Ipad 1. I decided to delete it and reinstall it as there were some errors in the game. When I visit itunes to reinstall it it doesnt give me the option to reinstall/re-download and has it marked as downloaded even though its not now on my Ipad. I have already deleted and re-downloaded something else so I believe I know how to do this. Its a paid app so I would rather not delete it from itunes as an option.

If you cannot remember your security questions for your Apple ID, I would recommend these steps outlined in the article named:

Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.

HT2736 I thought I purchased a gift card for my sister, however, I have not gotten a confirmation email. Can you tell me if it took. They would not let me pruchase one on my ipad. I guess too old!

I thought I had sent my sister a gift card before the holidays. I did not get confirmation and nothing arrived.
So I tried to send a gift card to her from my ipad. Would not let me. Too old I guess.
So now I am, one more time, trying to send her a gift and I thought I got the job done, however, I still have not gotten a confirmation that it was sent.
Can you check to see if it is sent and or what the problem is.

She's checked the spam folder on the email account that you sent it to as well as the inbox ?
And have you tried resending it (assuming that it worked the first time) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1541 ?

Acutally run a software update to see if you can acutally download and install it.

Open Terminal and type "softwareupdate -l" without the quotes.
To get a list of available updates, type "sudo softwareupdate -iva" (no quotes; admin password required).
To install recommended updates only, type "sudo softwareupdate -irv" (ditto).

Please note it can take a while for your system to actually display all the updates you've already installed after typing the first command.

I turned off my Mac and now when I turn it on it wont boot. It says I have no bootable device and that I need to insert a boot disk..... I never got a boot disk....

Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/">iPhoto Library Manager</a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
