Hi,
I have added extra field to the COPA data soruce (1_CO_PA_XXX) and written CMOD code to populate the data. But I am not able to see the newly added field while trying to fill the data through RSA3.
1. Why am I not able to see the newly added field.
2. Do i need to rebuild the operating concern once again? If yes, Do i need to resbuilt in every system or can it be transported?
3. I am also seeing another data source (1_co_pa_xxx_oc). What's the difference between data sources 1_CO_PA_XXX and 1_co_pa_xxx_oc?

When you're doing a test extraction in RSA3, is the column there but with no data or is the column not even showing up (you may have to right-click on the columns and click on Show... to get the new column to show in RSA3)? Try deugging the 1_CO_PA_XXX DataSource in RSA3 on your R3/ECC source system to determine why the code in CMOD isn't being invoked, or not providing the data. We have been able to modify our 1_CO_PAXXX DataSource by enhancing the extraction structure with an append and then creating code in CMOD, so you shouldn't have to recreate it.
As for the 1_CO_PA_XXX_CO DataSource, it appears that someone has created a second COPA DataSource. It could be that one was created opposite of the 1_CO_PA_XXX DataSource in that it's account-based v. cost-based or it could be the same basis with different fields.

For error 1, follow these instructions:
a. Create a new domain account DOMAIN\myApp_Admin

   Add DOMAIN\myApp_Admin
For error 2 & 3, follow these instructions:

Need to get the operating unit name for AP report

Hi,
I'm really new to XML/BI publisher. I have to customize a oracle report called Payables Posted Payment Register. The package XLA_JELINES_RPT_PKG ties into this report. Upon reading the package it's pretty confusing. Anyway, there is a parameter called P_SECURITY_ID_INT_1 which is the operating unit. I'm trying to display the operation unit in my report but it only returns the operating unit id and I need the name of the operationg unit. So I'm guessing im going to need to grab it somehow in the XLA_JELINES_RPT_PKG. Is this correct? Any suggestions on the best approach?

after time elavualtion use t code PT66, in this t.code double click on the each month(period) then you can get the internal table like ZES, SALDO, ZKO. again double click on the each internal table, you can get the information through the time types. Like , now you want the overtime hours, 0903, 0904 with this time types you can get the each employee no. of. overtime hours.
ZL, ZES, SALDO, TIP entries are internal table , you could not get any results from this table with using se11, se16.
With PT_BAL00 with this report also we can get the overtime hours with the help of time events.

By the way, how did you partition existing tables? Did you use dbms_redefinition, or did you use CTAS, or some other method?
I love RAGE partitions. You should always always partition your rage.

You said you did the purge for 'performance issue' and now, after the purge, you still don't know if your performance issue went away?
If you no longer have whatever (unknown to us since you didn't post it) 'performance issue' you had then why do you need to do anything?
If you do still have a performance issue then you need to follow the same steps you should follow whenever you have a performance issue:
1. validate that you REALLY have an issue
2. determine the cause of the issue
3. identify solutions to mitigate/eliminate the issue
4. test one or two of the possible solutions
5. implement your 'best' tested solution from step #4
6. go back to step #1
Based on what you posted it sounds like you implemented a 'purge' without really knowing that it was even necessary or was even causing a performance issue.
And you make no mention at all of whether you recollected statistics after the purge was done.

I tried something new yesterday after reading all these messages. My ATV3 was situated on top of my satellite box and I noticed that it was quite warm. The instruction manual suggests that the box not go over a certain temperature, so I moved the box to a location without the heat under it. I want to open some old iphoto libraries. The new iphoto says I have to upgrade the library, so I downloaded the upgrader and ran it on the library I wanted to upgrade and still it would not open, just kept giving me the same error message about needing to upgrade the library!! How can I open that old library file?

Did you go to Applications/Utilities and find the upgrader app and then double click it?

ITunes will not connect to the iTunes store once again

Okay so last year when I updated my iTunes I could not connect to the store. I eventually got it to work. Well I went to update my itunes again to update my iphone and once again after itunes installed it will not connect to the store so I cannot update my iphone. I have deleted it and added it again in both norton and windows firewall and it still will not work. Any help would be great as this is a real pain.

Are you running any of Symantec's (Norton) or McAfee's Internet security products or anything similar, or an antivirus/antispyware application? There have been reports that some such utilities treat an upgrade to iTunes as a new application and can block the application from connecting. So you have to go in and reset the utility to allow iTunes. The same thing can happen if you upgrade the security product (this has particularly been a problem with recent McAfee upgrades).
Check the settings for your utility. If iTunes is still listed, remove and re-enable the exception for iTunes. Consult your utility's documentation for the appropriate procedure; you can find instructions for Norton on Symantec's web page for iTunes. You may also need to check the built-in Windows firewall as well.

The grey triangle (once again!)

As probably the majority of us, I organize my libraries in folders and albums.
Working with albums, if I edit a photo with the eternal editor, the second thumbnail appears (it was much better in iPhoto8, without any additional picture!) and the external editor opens. I make my corrections and then "save". The second thumbnail updates itself with the corrections and if I double click it, the corrected image appears. So far so good.
If I exit iPhoto and then reopen it, when I re-click the thumbnail of the corrected image in the album, that already well known gray triangle with the exclamation mark in the middle appears! No way to rebuild the library both from starting iPhoto pressing alt-cmd or from iPhoto Library Manager.
I have finally discovered that this is definitely a program bug. The only way to edit with the external editor and not having the corrected image to disappears, is to *edit it in the original imported photos screen.*
To make a long story short, with iPhoto 9:
If you use the external editor working in the "album" screen, you end up with the gray triangle
If you use the external editor working in the "events" screen, you end up with the gray triangle
If you use the external editor working in the "Photos" screen, you are fine!
With iPhoto 8 everything was fine!
I hope this quite evident malfunction will be corrected in the next update.

Going back to my iPhotoLibrary, the images corrected as mentioned in my previous message are still OK.
But .... having tried once again to correct other images with the external editor, now the damned triangle appears again, even if I edit in the main Photos screen!
Now I am lost!

MDT 2012 deploy OS from USB external drive failed - need to unplug and plug it once again

We are using MDT 2012 and deploying Windows 7 using media (USB external hard drive). We can successfully deploy Windows 7 32 bit using this method but there is a problem with deploying Windows 7 64bit. This problem appears only on HP EliteBook 840. We can
boot into WinPE 64 bit and can start proper task sequence, all image is applied then after restart, before logon screen appears there is an error saying that cannot find litetouch.vbs script. After clicking ok, I can logon to Windows and there is no usb external
drive recognized. But when I unplug and plug usb drive once again it is recognized by Windows and can be used. I can see that Windows install some drivers just after plug it again
I checked BIOS looking for some USB power options - there is no such settings. And 32 bit deployment works ok. So this is not a case. Looks for me like a problem with proper usb drivers for 64 bit. I download all drivers from HP website (driver pack and
drivers only for USB 3.0). We are using make and model matching in MDT - works ok for all the rest hardware models. Any idea how to troubleshoot it?

Not sure what's going on here. Is this a USB "Flash" drive or a USB "Hard Drive". There *Is* a distinction.
I *thought* that MDT would copy itself to the c:\minint\scripts folder to continue installation.
Next time, when you see this error, Press Shift-F10 to get into a cmd.exe prompt. Can you find litetouch.vbs on any of the drives? Does the USB Drive appear?
IF in fact, the USB Drive is not appearing after the 1st reboot, then you have a problem. Why did the USB 3.0 driver not install. Check the Driver Installation Logs to verify.

Do i need any of the operating system disks if I clean install?

My MAcbook pro is getting serously slow esp on the internet. So from what I understand the best method is a clean install.
However I do not have any of the previous operating system disks like Snow leopard and Lion. I am currently using Mavericks.
My worry is that the computer will go back to it's original operating system (i think Tiger), and I will not be able to update to MAvericks because I don't have any of the operatings disks before that.
Or maybe I don't need them? I have backed up everytjing on my computer and used time machine as a back up.

Did you do an Over the Top install? That is where you reinstall right over OS X that is already on your system.
If you did and it ran fine for a day or so I suspect you are having some hard drive troubles. With an over the top install that replaces system files, OS X files, and makes them fresh. But if after a short while the system starts to run poorly again that comes from some corruption of those files. That only happens when there is drive problems.
If after doing a real clean install, first erasing everything off your system with Disk Utility, you still are having slow downs first thing I'd do is check out the drive for errors and personally I'd replace the drive.

My MacBook Pro will not boot. When I inserted the OSx installation DVD, there is no hard drive to select. I can't eject the DVD either. Do I need to reinstall the operating system? Please help!

The MBP cannot find the OSX, and either the HDD or connector has failed. If you can get the installation DVD to work, start the installation process and when the menu bar appears on the display, select 'Utilities'. From the drop down menu, select Disk Utility>First Aid and run 'Verify' and 'Repair'. If unsuccessful, a new HDD is in your future.
If you cannot get the DVD to function, then a trip to an Apple store is your best option.

can anyone repeat for me the motivation, why the early Java Language designers introduced the narrowing conversion into the compound operators? (E1 op = E2 is
equivalent to E1 = (T )((E1) op (E2)), where T is the type of E1, except that E1 is evaluated only once)
I can pretty well understand the reasons, why it cannot be changed any more (it is an incompatible change - http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do;jsessionid=67cacbc1afced76921b2264b6fd9c?bug_id=4655168). But I cannot see the reason, why to introduce it at the first place.

IBooks animations stall. Need to reopen the iBook to run again.

Animations in iBooks sometimes won't start. It seems like this occurs when there are other animations in the book that have not finished all the way through before closing that page ie they have reached a midway stop. If I close the book and reopen the book it works fine. The book I am using is at https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/your-first-weekend-dinghy/id567073612?mt=11 There is a free sample to see it the ibook stalling.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download. You can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that audiobook and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
