Do not save form when the filed is not completed correctly

Hi
i was create a form and publish in the Document library.
i was create a Repeating Table with two filed(Combo box and text box) and set Action Rule from that filed.This means
that the user can not selected same value.
when publish it and full this field
and select same value it show me error that set on the Screen Tip but I can save it!!!!!
i want if the form have error any one can not ability to save it.
what am i do?

I am new for this scripting. My question is:
How to block the 'save' function when the required fields are not filled?
I designed a PDF file with some required fields and I do not want the user to save the document until all required fields are filled. My idea is to write some scripts in Willsave method like:

app.alert('You should fill the Family Name field firstly!');
But I do not think it works as finally the document is saved after all.
Please help me on that!

I am a Rocky myself and I know how though it is to establish some good codes. Since I created some forms with validation options myself I might have a code for you. The code also creates an alert box (Yes/no option) if the user chooses yes the form will be validatet, if he chooses "no" the alert window will be closed.If everything is filled out correctly the form will be saved otherwise the textbox will be higlighted and gets focus.

Save form when exiting internet explorer

Hello.
Is there a way to check if there is some data unsaved in form, when the user uses internet explorer close button (X)?
Problem:
When the user uses X (internet explorer) to close the form, then everything is closed and unsaved data is lost. I want to prevent that.

Hi,
you can create a WHEN-WINDOW-CLOSED Trigger, in which you ask the user whether he/she wants to save or rollback the work.
The only thing is that this trigger does not respond to the "x" of the internet explorer, but it responds to pressing the "x" of your Forms window.
Try looking at Windows options.

Sortingtable clears the forms when the column is clicked for the first time

Hi All,
I have text fields which will take the conditions for search and result will be displayed in the sorting table of the same form,
When the search is done for the first time the result is shown in the sortingTable, but when we click any of the column to get it sorted it clears out the whole screen and shows only the search text fields.But when we do a search again in the same form there after the sort works.it does not clear out.
This happens for the first search after the form is loaded for the first time from the workflow

Thanks for your reply, it did not work even after setting the sortEnable,
The issue i find is when the any column is clixked for sorting for the first time all the form variables even if it is under Expansion is lost, but when we do the search again (even with different criteria) the same page and hit the sort column again the form variables are retained

Is it possible to supress dialog 'save form' when closing form? It is neccessary that it works even when using the close X in top right of the reader window.. any ideas/solutions?

Do you want to automatically save the document, or do you want to skip the save altogether?

Using Forms Personalization how to move the cursor to a particular field in a form when the form opens.We are using Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2

Try the following
Open the forms personalization window
Seq: 10
description : Move cursor
Level : Function
On Condition Tab-
Trigger Event : when-new-item-instance
Trigger Object:- (The field on which the cursor is appearing now when you open the form ) for eg : If I am working on a vendor Master form in that case it would be -VNDR.VENDOR_NAME_MIR.
Processing Mode : Both
Context:
whatever context you want to do it respoansibility level or user level.
On the Actions Tab
Seq: 1
Type: Bulletin
Bulletin type : GO_ITEM
Argument : The field to which you want to navigate to. (In my case I want to navigate to Alternate name on the Vendor master form so it would be VNDR.VENDOR_NAME_ALT_MIR).

Problems in Master-Detail forms when the detail contains LOVs

I am having problems with master detail forms when the detail contains and lov.
In my detail form I have a messageLovInput field that returns 2 values (code and description). When the lov window returns both values the messageLovInput disappear from the form.
This problem happens only when I iterate in the master view and I try to add a record in the detail form.
If I add a new record without navigation for the master view there is no problem.

Error message: File can't be opened right now because it's being used by another task, such as moving or copying an item or emptying the Trash. Try again when the current task is complete.

I recently transferred some data from my external hard drive to my desktop, but there was an error transferring some of the files and it couldn't respond, and eventually i simply removed the external hard drive. However, the folder/files are still on my desktop, and when i try to move them or delete them, this error message appears:
“-folder/file name-” can’t be opened right now because it’s being used by another task, such as moving or copying an item or emptying the Trash. Try again when the current task is complete.
Since I removed the external hard drive before the files were finished transferring, there is no way for the current task to be completed. How can I resolve this and delete the folders/files from my desktop?

I just managed to resolve this by going to the apple sign in the top left, choosing force quit (or you could do option+command+esc), then i chose finder, and i clicked relaunch. After relaunching finder, the error message doesn't appear anymore, and I could move these files/folders, and delete them just fine.
Hope this will help other people who encounter similar problems in the future!

Look in your Applications folder. Is there a Mac OS X Mavericks installer in the folder? If there is then select it. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. See if the size of the file is around 5.3 GBs. If it is then try double-clicking on it to run it. If you cannot run it, then you have an incomplete download. Try it again. It's a very large file, and unless you have a really fast pipe it can take longer than 45 minutes to download.

Hi,
We cannot have incompletion procedure at the billing document level.It will be happened at the sales order level.
But we can control this one either by using the user exit or any ABAP code.
Goto the T.Code "V/06".Select your condition type.Details.Maintain the value as "A" for the field "Manual entries".
Goto the T.Code "V/08".Select your pricing procedure.Details.
Maintain this condition type as required.
Save.
This ensures that it should fetch values for this condition type automatically i.e. from condition record.Else it will throw an error message.

It's hard to know what logic you are trying to implement.
However, by looking at your code, it seems that if the user select 'Yes' to the question "Do you want to refresh", nothing is done except the go_block('wet_criterias'). Should there be an 'Execute_Query' ?
No idea...

How to print item texts in po contract form when the fixed item status is N

I need to print the item texts when the status is 'N' and at the same time the status is blank in the same form.
I tried using t165p.I'm unable to print the both the message status with N and blank at the same time.

so there is no need of creating hidden item for those item (i.e) &P1_DIS_COURSE_NAME. AND &P1_DIS_DATE.

How to save website when the css is overwritten with stylish or greasemonkey

I used firefox version 3.6 for a long time. Now, with the newer versions, I find I miss one very important feature. It may be a bug, it may be something I'm doing wrong. Whatever the case may be, I now cannot save websites with the custom stylesheet overwrites via stylish or greasemonkey. In the version 3.6 the website was saved the way it was displayed. Any and all script and css changes made through these two extensions, not to mention the adblockers were taken into account. Now the original website gets saved, and the overwrites are discarded. All the annoying javascripts/images/css I'd blocked get downloaded and displayed.
Either I'm doing something wrong or it's a firefox problem or it's a problem with the add-on mozilla archive format. I don't know.

Save form as the form data from three fields

I'm using Adobe Pro 9.0.0 and LC ES. I am trying to take three fields of data, like: Number, date, and name. Add or merge them together to be placed into a hidden field, then when the user selects the SAVE button I need a script that will get the hidden field data and insert it as the filename to be saved to a specific path. Is this possible?
