"Do you want to debug this web page" nuisance

I'm using IE Version 11 in win 7-64.
For ~ 3 weeks I've been getting the (subject) error message on numerous web pages.
I've tried several things to stop it but nothing has been successful.  I've tried the Internet
Options Advanced tab settings > Disable Script Debugging (IE) and disabling Script Debugging (other),
but this does not appear to work as it should and the settings keep resetting themselves to unchecked.
How can I permanently disable these annoying messages.
Thank you,
Ken Boardman

when I restarted in normal mode, both of the script debugging check blocks had been cleared
Sorry.  I normally explain the test procedure here would be: boot in safe mode, make the change, verify that it is sticking until you are ready to restart, then boot in safe mode again, to check if it is still holding after that.  Then boot in
normal mode.  Unfortunately you can't run ProcMon in safe mode but you can at least make a list of things that are running.  AutoRuns would be good for that.  So, if the change holds in safe mode all those things may be automatically discounted
as the cause of your symptom (at least when they run in safe mode <eg>).  And AutoRuns for the normal boot would be a good comparison too.  I think it can even assist in testing eliminating cases.
Otherwise, as I mentioned you could use ProcMon in normal mode to trace an instance of you changing the setting.  A possible filter to use would be:  Operation Is RegSetValue.  Then depending on how you suspect the unwanted change is occurring,
e.g. if only during restart you could just enable the ProcMon Boot Logging option and then stop it, ready to restart.  It's a bit quirky getting it stopped after the boot.  You start it; then it asks if you want to save the trace; so save the trace
(as a .pml file); and exit.

  • How to disable silverlight "Do you want to allow this Web application to access your clipboard?" popup window, when tyring to right click and paste?

    Hi,
When im trying to right click and choose paste. im getting a dialog box.. "Do you want to allow this Web application to access your clipboard?". How do i disable it for all users?
i found that, we can able to disable it for only one user, if we create a 'Clipboard' DWORD key with value '11' in the registry path: HKEY_USERS -> S-1-5-21-159.. -> Software -> AppDataFlow -> Software -> Microsoft ->
    Silverlight -> [website url]
    Even, i tried
Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> Custom Level> Scripting section> Allow Programmatic clipboard access> Enable. But its not working.
Please let me know how to disable that popup for all users?

It works fine on my machine here which is win7 pro.
    Your options are limited
You know one way - the registry entry.
    The option:
    Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> Custom Level> Scripting section> Allow Programmatic clipboard access> Enable.
Has been changed by later versions of Internet explorer tightening security.
    I guess you could try:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
    meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
Bit difficult for me to test at the moment, but that could work.
    If that's no good.
The alternative is to give the app elevated trust.
This is a PITA because you have to obtain a security cert and sign the xap with it.
They expire as well and you then need to buy a new one.
Costs several hundred quid a year ( this is one time cost rather than per user ).
    Hope that helps.

  • When you want to reduce the web page two options are offered at the top right hand of the page:

The options for reducing the size of a web page are offered via the square and dash signs at the top right hand of the page.
In my case the square does not work - it simply leaves the page at the original size. My only option is to use the dash which reduces the page to its minimum - an icon on the task bar.

Thanks a lot! This solves my problem.
Initially I only got a vertical reduction but with a bit of fiddling around I am back to the normal operation.
    Have a good day!

when navigating on certain sites (fiverr.com is one), i get the popup confirmation "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?"
this is highly annoying and i can't find a way to turn this annoyance off. help!

because of its impact on security this error message cannot be suppressed. you might want to contact the admins of the website where this is occuring and ask them to implement a handling of user input without sending it to a different server...

  • I keep getting this error message on my Mac after my Mavrick upgrade: This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form dat

how do I turn off this notification. I build web stores and this pops up when I access my store now. The stores have a redirect with masking through godaddy.com to hide the source of the store. I have reset fire fox, turned off most of the settings and still having issues. most of the forms on line are outdated.
    Thanks

There is a way to turn off the warning for a 307 "temporary" redirect. However, bear in mind that customers will still see it, so you may want to reconsider the design for business reasons.
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box that appears above the list, type or paste '''redi''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click '''network.http.prompt-temp-redirect''' to switch its value from true (the default) to false.

  • "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" on saving Publishing Page

    Hi all,
we're getting some ... interesting ... behavior in IE.
    Setup:
We have a page layout based on some content type. Both contain (besides other fields) a DateTimeField which is shown in edit mode.
When a user clicks "Save" after editing the page, he is presented a modal dialog saying "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" with the options to "stay" or "leave".
When a user clicks "leave" the following behaviour is as expected (changes are saved, page is working). When a user clicks "stay" he sometimes gets prompted for conflicts.
As soon as the DateTimeField is removed from the page layout (but is kept in the content type) there are no more such pop-up dialogues.
This happens only in IE 9/10/11. FF and Chrome work fine.
Do you have any suggestions, on how to fix this? Not the conflicts part, but the fact that this dialogue box is shown at all.

    Internet Explorer
I already tried seeting IE (Security) Settings back to deafault and disabling add-ons. It did not help.
The site is accessed via https and is in the Trusted Sites list in IE.

    Hi SomeTallGuy,
According to your description, my understanding is that the model dialog appears after you click Save.
    My suggestion as below:
    1. Set the Internet Explorer Security Setting to low.
    2. If you have add your site to trusted sites, try to delete all the browser data, such as cookie, temporary files to test whether it works.

  • Are you sure you want to leave this page?

Periodically I start to get "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" message in OVM Manager 3.2.1 - if I click no, I get the message again. If I click yes, it logs me out... Often without any action from my side - or in the middle of my activities (so it doesn't look like it is related to any timeout).
I have disabled timeout in Tool and Resources - Preferences, so it is not suppose to log me out at all.
Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Alex

Very painful & I am also interested in a fix for this.
On 3.2.1 I am also getting this message though I only notice it when I am idle by not clicking on anything on the page.
On OVM 2.x I like to leave my screen open and it re queries the statuses. I like this UI more but the timeout or whatever is very annoying.
While I haven't been timed out right after recently doing something, when I launch jobs that take awhile I like that it shows me how much progress has made (cloned 101G of 500G etc)... Once you get timed out you lose the status and I don't see a way to get that dynamic job progress feedback anywhere without logging into the OVS and querying the file sizes as they progress on the file system.

  • How do I stop the box "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?

I have cleared my cookies and cache and disabled some add ons, but when in Facebook and specifically for Farmville, I keep getting the pop up box, "This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?" I have closed and opened the browser, too and it still keeps coming up.... Please help!!! Thanks.

You can't avoid that if the website is coded that way and data needs to be send from one server to another server.

  • This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?

This alert pops regularly every 10-15 minutes:
This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?
I did some serious research / checked for viruses / removed and reinstalled Thunderbird and Firefox. Please read this carefully.
    1. With Firefox closed (default browser), I can open T-bird without any issues and use it just fine.
    but,
    2. the minute that I open Firefox, T-bird give me a popup message of: This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location? This is not under the Firefox Browser. It is under the T-bird Tab of my computer.
It does not matter what kind of email you have open, whether it be text or HTML. It pops up.
If I have T-bird open (default email client) and use Chrome or IE with Firefox closed it doesn't happen.
Computer is Windows 7 Pro x64-Bit.

This started after the latest Thunderbird update was applied. Like you I have done the same check outs. I found that Thunderbird starts then, without any direct request, FireFox starts as well. Then the messages start popping up. Have already checked and confirmed that the old FireFox posting fixes did not impact the behavior. Looking for an answer.
Same configuration Windows 7 ThinkPad T430.

Adobe FP 10-A Script in this movie is causing Adobe FP 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort this script? yes or no. How do I fix this crash?

    Hi,
Some "movies' are actually Flash files.
This means the Flash App will play them (possibly in a browser in some cases).
Depending where this item is and how it is playing it may be effected by other things
A web page can include javascript.
Apple uses javascript here to help with creating the posting box, the Edit options, Adding pics/smilies and the like.
Sometimes the javascript can be what is called a runaway process and gets sort of stuck in an endless loop.
If it is a free standing item then it might be triggered by AppleScript on the Mac. (or be modified in some way)
Again if the Script (normally written with a upper case S) is not perfect it can cause problems.

  • I want to make a web page using labview.

I want to make a web page using labview. I have the internet tool kit. Where do I start. Till now all I have used labview is for industrial I/O and mmi. I have used various TCP UDP comms for network purposes, but I haven't ever done anything with Web page design.

The internet toolkit has some functions for generating and manipulating HTML, but it isn't really intended as a Web page authoring tool. I personally wouldn't use it for such a purpose, and I've done a good bit of Web programming in various different environments, including LabVIEW.
The true power of the internet toolkit lies in its ability to create LabVIEW VIs to handle CGI requests, the way that perl or PHP might be used in more traditional Web development. In the old days, this was really the only way to provide Web interactivity with LabVIEW on the back end. Here is a document that outlines how to start up the toolkit's Web server and check out the CGI examples that ship with LabVIEW. This is the best jumping-off point for creating your own pages, if you are planning to use the CGI functionality in the internet toolkit. Just examine how the HTML pages and the CGI VIs in the examples work together and begin to try out your own VIs.
Since LabVIEW 6i, LabVIEW has shipped with Remote Panel functionality that allows you to publish any LabVIEW VI in a Web browser without the burden of creating special CGI functionality. Furthermore, users can fully interact with the VI--buttons, graphs, string controls, etc. That's really a better solution if you want to make VIs available via the Web and aren't so much interested in CGI/transactional behavior. Check this out by choosing Tools >> Web Publishing Tool from LabVIEW.
I hope this info gives you some ideas about starting points for Web functionality in LabVIEW. Please follow up if you have more specific questions.
    Best Regards,
    John

    These are your options:
    1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
Advantages: Always works, if library damage is causing the problem and the backup is intact.
Disadvantages: Impossible if you don't have a backup. All changes made since the backup are lost.
    2. Repair or rebuild the library. Be sure to back it up first.
Advantages: May solve the problem with no loss of data.
Disadvantages: May fail. May take a long time if the library is large.
    3. Scavenge the library with a third-party application called "iPhoto Library Manager," which you can find in a web search. From the application's menu bar (not the iPhoto menu bar), select Library ▹ Rebuild.
Advantages: All images should be preserved.
Disadvantages: All books, calendars, and slideshows will be lost.
