These are your options:
1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
Advantages: Always works, if library damage is causing the problem and the backup is intact.
Disadvantages: Impossible if you don't have a backup. All changes made since the backup are lost.
2. Repair or rebuild the library. Be sure to back it up first.
Advantages: May solve the problem with no loss of data.
Disadvantages: May fail. May take a long time if the library is large.
3. Scavenge the library with a third-party application called "iPhoto Library Manager," which you can find in a web search. From the application's menu bar (not the iPhoto menu bar), select Library ▹ Rebuild.
Advantages: All images should be preserved.
Disadvantages: All books, calendars, and slideshows will be lost.

Try downloading the songs from a different device. If you are doing it from your iOS device, try form your computer.

I have been using Elements 12 without a problem for 9 months. Now when I try to open the program, I get an error message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 quit unexpectedly" and it will not open at all. What can I do to open the program?
Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

Safari problem: iOS7 on iPad - Apple ID Support - Stuck on "Are you sure you want to submit this form again?"
Now Safari is totally stuck. Neither the "submit" nor the "cancel" button works.
Since verifying Apple ID requires Safari (Google Chrome doesn't work because verifying email links only to Safari), it is impossible for me to change my Apple ID preferences.
HELP!!!!Close Safari completely and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Safari app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
I have seen similar questions--mostly from 4-6 years ago--but none are quite the same as mine. I tried to export a photo from the web to iPhoto for editing and received a message stating, "Which photo library do you want iPhoto to use? To open, iPhoto needs a photo library. Select a library from the list, find another library on your computer, or create a new library that you can import photos to later. The same photo library will be used the next time you open iPhoto." Below this is a empty box. Below the box there are three buttons: [Other Library...] [Create New...][Choose]. Since the box is empty the [Choose] button is grayed out. If I click [Other Library...] I can go to Pictures->iPhoto Library. I can highlight iPhoto Library by clicking on it, but nothing happens when I click Open at the bottom of the window or if I double click iPhoto Library itself.
I only have a handful pictures on this machine--MacBook Air, OS X 10.9.4, 96 GB memory free--so I could create a new library without much pain, but I hesitate to since I don't know what caused the problem in the first place. Any ideas?

My iPad2 is stuck on iCloud Backup. When I click on OK, nothing happens. I tried to hard boot it by turning it of and still nothing happens. What can I do to fix this?Reset it by holding the Power and Home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

You're flat-out wrong and you should really try to refrain from passing off your opinion as fact. I happen to be the admin for my organization's SharePoint site and when I use Safari on my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.9 I see this error/warning message all the time on our portal. However, when I use Firefox on my Mac or when I'm using my Windows 8.1 laptop (with IE 11) I NEVER see the message.

I am having problems with safari. The screen is darkened and I can't use touch screen or tabe. But I can use the address bar and go to anouther website. Other then that I can see website but can't touch nothing, how do I fix
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or

Or if those do not work - quit Safari

Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

I'm trying to download Mavericks on my 2007 imac version 10.6.8. When I attempted to, it said "Install Failed: OS X could not be installed on your computer. OS X can't be installed on the disk because a recovery system can't be created. Visit www.apple.com/support/no-recovery to learn more" I've tried other discussions and they say you must erase your disc, but I want to make sure I have a back up of version 10.6.8 first. I'm not sure where my CD ROMs are that came with the computer to download the start up disc. This forum suggested changing the partition manually in the Disc Utility, but when I went there, there was no partition to change. Any thoughts? Do I just have to hunt down my start up disc download? Is there a way to download Disc Recovery???
Go into your system profiler and tell us your Machine Identifier that says:
iMac x,y (give us the x and y values)
That will tell us whether you are Mavericks compatible or not.
Also tell us how much RAM you have installed. -
i tunes repeatedly asks for my password when i attempt to purchase a song/movie etc. anyone else have this issue?? the password works fine for everything except buying something....
Same issue. I complete one purchase and on the next one I get stuck in an endless loop of it asking for my password over and over. I have to close iTunes, reopen and it's fine, but that is ridiculous to do for every purchase.

Got an automatic upgrade notification to Itunes 11.1.4 Downloaded OK, but then got an R6304 Runtime error when it completed.
I tried starting from the screen shortcut and got the same message. I tried downloading from scratch from the Apple site, and got
the same errors.

I have to do the installation online. So said it the man in the mac store.
OS X 10.7 isn't installed. On the hard drive is just the software that i need to install but it doesn't work.
It ever stops when apple is trying "to downliad and restore Mac OS X, your computer's eligibility will be verfied with Apple" and the wheel turns, the whole time.
