Doctype Syntax Error when using AJAX Form Submission

I have a simple email signup form that is submitted using AJAX. When I submit the webform it throws a Syntax Error that says "<!DOCTYPE html>
Here is the AJAX Code:

I am not sure I follow. I am using the HTML 5 Doctype: <!doctype html> on the page and I have the form code copied into the page. As far as I know any page on my site, including all layouts, are HTML 5 Doctype.
Is there some area I should look to change a setting?

When I try to type any SQL Expression within Crystal I am getting syntax errors, even when I type only SELECT {field name} FROM {table name}.

You will then have a formula field that is evaluated to 1, if the status is 77.

so far I used Cross tab and it is showing the right days, however not showing the correct jobs per day.
You might be right there that it calculates the totals differently, additionally how am I suppose to get the right Percentage if using the Cross tab. The percentage should be, count of number of jobs % Total jobs.
hence:

however, when I create this formula it does not let me add that into the cross tab.
I also need to put a subreport in my report, can I use Crosstab to contain a link to my subreport?

Or vice-verse the 'col3' inside the select-list should be 'col5'...

Always getting syntax error when using RANK formula. Please help!!

i am desperate! tried EVERYTHING. so as a last try, I tested the very same Example that Apple gives to elaborate how the "RANK" formula works...and you guessed it....NOT WORKING.
not even a reconstruction 1 to 1 of the apple example worked, giving me a syntax error.
thus i am assuming that i am doing something wrong on a very basic level i would have never thought of (maybe a setting i have wrong?, maybe if you have blue as background formulas don't work?).

Error when using Adobe form in Web Dynpro..

I created an adobe form and gave the form name in template source property of interactive form in web dynpro component.The context node used in that form is automatically created. I pass value to that node using set_static_attributes. When I run the application I am getting an error msg 'Node <node name> does not contain any elements'.Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

500 error when using customized form

I have enabled "Use customized HTML forms instead of the default" in a listener. That works fine, as long as I stick to the original custom folder: "ISA".
But once I make a copy of the default folder, calling it "ISA-2" and try to use that copy, the error is
Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The data area passed to a system call is too small. (122)
As far as I can see, the copy - ISA-2 - is a perfect copy of the original - ISA. (The error message is the same as the one I get if I specify a folder that does not exist at all.)

Was the copy file ISA-2 in the same folder with the original ISA custom folder? If yes, please enter "ISA-2" on the Forms tab, click appy and restart the TMG Firewall Service to apply the changes to TMG.

Error when using PPR in the OA page developed.

HI,
We are encountering an error when using PPR for the custom OA page being developed. I am using JDeveloper version 9.0.3.5(Build 1437) and Oracle Applications version 11.5.10.CU2. The scenario we are using PPR and the steps to reproduce the issue is mentioned below,
Scenario:
1) PPR is enabled for a custom OA page that is developed.
2) The PPR is being used to enable or disable a particular field based on the
selection of a value in a poplist in the same OA Page.
Error replication steps:
1) The user enters a value in the primary mandatory field which has to have
unique value.
2) The user selects a value from the poplist of a field which has PPR associated.
3) The user enters data in all other mandatory fields in the OA page except one
and tries to save the form and is shown a error message saying that all
mandatory fields are not entered(This is correct). Now the page gets
automatically refreshed and so the entered values are wiped off.
4) Now if the user again enters a value in the primary mandatory field (as in
step1) and if that value happens to be already existing value and then select
a value from the poplist which has PPR enabled then immediately the error
"Please enter a unique value" is entered, though we did not save the record.
The unique record validation would happen only at the time of saving the
record as per out business logic.
5) But if in Step 4 if i had entered a unique value again then the above said error
does not happen. There are few more similar kind of issues happening in the
same page because PPR is enabled.
Please note that this issue happens only when the page is deployed in a oracle
applications instance and not in JDeveloper.
Would this issue because of some cacheing problem? If Yes then how do we resolve it? Or would it be some other problem caused by our internal coding.
Any inputs for resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

What works in Jdeveloper should work when deployed in iAS as well.
And PPR is an old feature given quite enough time to mature, so before we suspect OA we should investigate the code. What I do not understand is how the page refreshes in Step 3 and why does the user have to re-enter the fields just because he missed entering one mandatory field the last time.
Mandatory field validations are client validations set by making the fields 'Required'. You obviously have client validations turned off on your PPR, otherwise you would be stuck with a javascript popup on PPR. The only way you can get the "Please enter unique..." error on PPR is Server Validation. So where have you placed this validation? If it is not in the EO, is it in the AM? And are you unconditionally calling the AM validation method in your processFormRequest? The PPR will also go through processFormRequest so I hope the PPR event is in a different if-else block.

Looks like you imported events.Event but not events.MouseEvent (or some similar syntax) basically you must import MouseEvents separately from other Events.

Weblogic 9.2 error when using spring framework and taglibs.

I am getting the following error when using spring binding for a command form class.

The problem doesn't look like it has anything to do with wappers per se. The stack indicates that the JVM died when the persistent store tried to invoke a standard Java synchronize operation. JVM crashes need to be analyzed by a JVM expert, so I second the suggestion to solicit help from JVM experts and/or filing a case with customer support. In the mean-time, you can probably work-around the issue by either (A) ensuring you have a recent version of the JVM installed, or (B) temporarily switching to the Sun JVM.

To use that form you need to configure ADS in your system.
I sugest you to read the ADS configure manual and the troubleshooter note: SAP Note Number: 944221

[JS] Reg Exp Error when using *

Hello everyone,
I get a syntax error when executing a script which contains RegExp handling strings with "*".
ie:
var x = /\*\*\*ABC/;
alert (RegExp(x)); //*** WORKS because x is defined as an EXPRESSION
var x = "\*\*\*ABC";
alert (RegExp(x)); //*** SYNTAX ERROR when executing
var x = "***ABC";
alert (RegExp(x)); //*** SYNTAX ERROR when executing
My problem is I have to build the expression using strings. So I was hoping to concatenate the string portionsa and use New RegExp to create my expression. Unfortunately, if we have STARS (*) in the string you get an error. Which as forced me to HARDCODE and I whish not to.
ie:
alert (yyy.search(/\*\*\*ABC/);
FYI: I have expample in HTML where ".value" is used. But it does not work w/ InDesign???

if (document.demoMatch.subject.value.match(re))

To look for 3 stars and "ABC", I have to define like this
var a="\\*\\*\\*ABC";
var patt1=new RegExp(a);
alert(patt1.test("abcd*ABCefg"));
So when I build the string I have to use 2 backslashes!!!

Syntax error when running ActionFileToXML.jsx or trying to install xtools

I have an action set (actually a few) that I would REALLY love to rename but the actions are calling "sub" actions within the action set which means that the action set name is hard-coded into the actions in many places.
Originally, I tried to edit my actions with a hex editor to try and change the name and references but realised I was limited to renaming with the same number of characters unless I parsed the file first... so I gave up on that. Then I came across Xbytor's awesome ActionFileToXML script, but I get a syntax error when running both the To and From XML scripts at root.@date = Stdlib.toISODateString();
I then figured I would go straight for the latest xtools instead but when running the install (in CS2) I get a rather long syntax error and so the install fails. The script mentioned that there is a log file that I should email to Xbytor, but I figured I would post here instead of bothering him directly so he has more of a choice about whether he wants to be bothered by me Or maybe someone else can answer if it is a stupid newbie problem.

ETA: I'm running CS2 on XP if that makes any difference. If so, I may be able to use a friend's Mac with CS3.

I made the changes to the mentioned files and the scripts were able to
progress further, but only until the next E4X syntax (node.@key=key;).
Rather than continue to hack at your code, I figured I should downgrade to a
previous version (as you also suggested). I initially tried v1.5 and the
ActionFileToXML worked perfectly but ActionFileFromXML failed with an
illegal argument error.
Before looking too deeply into the error, I figured I would try v1.6 and
found that both the scripts were able to complete successfully. The
resulting atn file has a couple of bugs in it (such as "Set current layer"
having a knockout setting of which causes the action to crash),
but nothing that I can't just copy back from my original script.

place! Extremely greatly appreciated!
