Document Display Options from portlet

How do I gain access to the user setting for the "Document Display Options" from a portlet? I want my portlet to honor this setting when creating links for the user to click on such that they open in a new window or in the main browser window as specified by this setting.
This option is set on the Display Options page of the My Account editor.
thanx!

Instead of using
<f:selectItem> use
<f:selectItems>.

How do I remove the Document Display options from Display Options Editor window?

You would need to do a view override in the DisplayOpt code to not display that section. com.plumtree.portalpages.browsing.portalsettings.displayoptions.DisplayOptView. There is sample code and documentation on the DevCenter describing how to do a View Override.

  • Modified display options from HP

    Dear HP,
I require the second montor connected to this laptop to be 'flipped' to have it's buttons and controls (Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet) on the right hand side but the Intel HD Graphics says this option has been disabled by the manufacturer modifying the display drivers.
On my HP Pavilion Desktop with Win 8.1 I have this flip option for the display but not for the Compaq/HP laptop with the same OS.
Could you please tell me how or if it possible to install drivers that will allow the Wacom tablet to be viewed 'flipped'?
    Thank you...

    Hi @willkoo ,
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message after the weekend from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publically post ( serial numbers and case details)

  • Document type wise PO with display & optional purchasing group.

    Dear All,
we have six document type from NB1 to NB6 every document type has separate no ranges, & having three field selection as Me21n, fof, NBF,
in Spro MM Define screen layout at document level, in that we assign document type NB5 & attach field selection FOF in that purcahsing group is optional.
same other dovcument types we assign field selection Me21n & we assign purchasing group is Display option.
our requirement is that when i select documenyt type NB5, purchasing group will optional not in display.
But system shows display & we cant do PO.
Please guide me or any other config.
    Thanks
    Shital

    Hi,
System is giving first preference to Field Selection Key ME21N, so you have to reverse the condition.
Maintain ME21N as optional and assign document type NB5 to it and
For  other dovcument types Create another Field Selection Key with purchasing group as Display option and
assign that field selection key for purchasing group is Display option.

  • Display data from multiple document Libraries in List View Webpart

    Hi All,
I want to display data from multiple document libraries into one list view webpart(custom i have created)
I went through the following link http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ramg/archive/2009/04/22/implementing-a-simple-cross-site-collection-list-view-webpart.aspx
but it tells to display only from one document library.
My motive behind displaying data in the list view webpart is to achieve the functionality of Check In ,Check Out and other OOB features.
    With Regards,

    Hi,
As there is no such OOTB feature, a workaround is to create a visual web part to gather items from libraries and implement functionalities like Check in, Check out files
    in different libraries.

  • Rich text box used in Infopath Form not displaying option to get images from Computer

    Hello,
We have used "Rich text box" in Infopath Form which is not displaying option to get images from Computer.
Options available are : From Address, From SharePoint
But if we Rich text box in list, then it works fine with "From Computer" option.
can you please help me out to get this option.
    Thanks in advance.
    REgards,
    Jayashri

    Hi,
From your description, there is no “From Computer” option to get images with rich text box in InfoPath form.
Per my knowledge, by design there are “From Address” and “From SharePoint” options without “From Computer” option in rich text box in InfoPath form. As a workaround, you can develop a custom InfoPath Rich Text box to do it.
About developing a custom InfoPath control, I suggest you create a new thread on the forum “Visual Studio Tools for Office”, more experts will assist you with InfoPath development.

  • Search results displays title from the document and not from its metadata

    Hi All,
I have an issue with SharePoint 2010 Search results. While searching for any content in SharePoint, it displays the title value from the keyword in the document and not from the metedata.
Scenario:- I have a document library and a document named "Bill Details C1234.doc" in it. The title for this item in document library is "Bill Details". However on searching with keyword "Bill" it displays the
first word in the word document which is "I".It should display the title set in the document i.e. "Bill Details".
    Please suggest

I think you're looking to do the reverse of this:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/c2ec4fc2-e04c-453c-8035-4f334f062d05/have-search-results-display-the-filename-of-a-word-doc-instead-of-the-title-metadata?forum=sharepointsearchlegacy
check this out as well, again I think you want to reverse part of this where it references filename
    http://chris.gg/2011/06/display-filename-instead-of-document-title-in-sharepoint-search/
So, where it references Filename, you would put title, but leave where it references title alone.  Or maybe I misunderstood and you are looking for exactly this, to make search display the filename and not the title, in which case I trust that you'll
find this to be your answer.

  • Error when displaying proxy-to-portlet iViews from non-SAP content producer

I'm trying to connect "Mercury PPM 7 portal" as Content producer with my "SAP Portal" (EP 7) as content consumer.
Actually, two portlets have been defined within PPM7 (a checkbox "WSRP Compliance" is available during the portlet creation) and I want to display these two portlets within a page of my SAP Portal.
The following steps were successfull :
1- Define the two portlets within the producer portal
2- Create the content producer using this type of webservice address "http://hostname:porNumber/dashboard/wsrp4jproducer.wsdl"
3- Test the connection with the producer
4- Register the consummer with the producer
5- Create proxy-to-portlet iViews (WSRP) linked with the corresponding portlets and add these iViews to a page and this page to a portal role
6- Associate my portal user with this new role
But then each time i try to visualize these WSRP iViews the following error message appears :
"Could not connect to content producer; make sure it is registered and verify connectivity using the consumer administration tools in the portal".
Of course I test once again the connection using "System Administration->Federated Portal->Myself as Content Consumer->Manage My Producers" and the connection to the producer was successful.
is there something else to configure ?
what are the prerequisites for the content producer ?

Since there were no explicit logs in the defaultTrace on the SAP server, I checked the logs of my Content producer.
I then realize that the login used by the portal to communicate with the content producer is like "USER.CORP_LDAP.LOGIN".
So I configure the content producer to authenticate the account "USER.CORP_LDAP.LOGIN" as a valid account.
    And then It works perfectly.

  • Printing options from word document

I have always been a PC user, but I just got a MacBook Pro, and I cant figure out how to change the printing options from microsoft word. I like to change to lower quality prints for daily work, but the preferences are somehow set to best. I need help!!

Hi @nish123 , and welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're having issues printing, I'd like to help!
I have a couple of questions before we get started:
    -What printer are you using?
-Do you have any issues printing from Notepad?
In the meantime, I'd recommend removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also suggest downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

  • I cannot project PDFs from my macbook Air.  I have the proper cords and adapters but the display option does not provide "mirror" as an option.  Hugely frustrating as this is client-facing breakdowns over and over.  Help please?

When I connect my macbook air to projectors (most projectors) using the proper adapters, it simply does not recognize the displays.  My colleague and I have both had this problem repeatedly, indicating that it is a systematic issue.
Online blogs say we should be getting an option to "mirror display" in the display menu, but that is not an option.  Please help, I present several times a week and this is terribly unprofessional.

  • Page numbers in thumbnails & document display/status bar do not match

I am using Acrobat Standard 6.0...documents that I have assembled using separate PDFs that I have scanned or printed to PDF. I am frequently deleting/inserting/replacing pages in the documents. I find that when I select a certain page in the page thumbnails (let's say, 60), and then go back to the document display, I am consistently sent to a different page. Usually it is about 4 pages back (i.e. page 56 in this example), but sometimes I am sent back to the first page. This didn't use to happen & I'm not sure why it started but it has been going on for months. It happens in all of the PDF files that I am using of this type. I just recently started using bookmarks and I seem to be having similar issues, in that some bookmarks that were linked to a certain place on a certain page are now taking me to a location 4 pages previous to the original target. I read the help and tried using Number Pages in the Options on the page thumbnails tab, but this didn't seem to do anything. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? Thanks.

    Hi,
She is the only one affected and you don't have the problem with the same document, I doubt if her Office is updated? In earlier versions of Office there was this issue and we could easily solve it by keeping Office updated.
Please learn from Update your computer:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/word-help/update-your-computer-HA010354322.aspx
Repairing Office from Control Panel is also suggested.
We can also have the user start Word in Safe Mode to determine if this issue is 3rd-party add-ins related:
Press Win + R and type “winword.exe /safe” in the blank box, then press Enter.
If there is no trouble printing the document, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.

    Hi
According to your description, since this is SQL Server forum, as Olaf Helper’s post, could you get the correct result if you execute the following query in SQL Server Manager Studio (SSMS)?
select UserName from aspnet_Users where UserId in(select FreindId from myFreinds where UserId in(select UserId from aspnet_Users where UserName = '<your typed name>'))
If you cannot get the correct result in SSMS, I recommend to check the Transact-SQL statement. Apart from the error message, we also need to know the table structure, data, join relationships between tables for further analysis.
However if there is no problem in SQL Server query, it will be an issue that regards ASP.NET and website deployment. I suggest you to post the question in the ASP.NET forums at
http://forums.asp.net/ . It is appropriate and more experts will assist you.
In addition, there is detail about listbox control in asp.net. You can review the following links:
How to Bind/Load/Fill ListBox with Sql Server Database in asp.net:http://www.webcodeexpert.com/2013/07/how-to-bindloadfill-listbox-with-sql.html#.U5f75_6KCM9
