Documentation for creating midi device plugin bundle?
I've got a custom MIDI controller (vmeter), and wanted to know if there was any documentation for creating a plugin bundle file to make Logic Pro integration easier? The documentation says plug-ins can be added to the Logic Pro Applicaiton folder / Contents/MIDI Device Plugins subfolder. Any advice on how to make those .bundle files?
Depending on the format of your "templates", you could go with any of the options – Plugin, IAC or JavaScript.
Plugins give you the most power, but as you note, have to be written in C/C++ using Visual Studio. For Acrobat X, you need VS2008. You should be able to compile the sample plugins in the SDK – just be sure to follow the instructions/docs about where to put the SDK folders. OR consider installing the using the Plugin Wizard that is in the Tools directory which will help you create new projects.
IAC or JavaScript. There isn't anything in IAC proper that will help you and you don't want to use the ActiveX control, you want to use the COM APIs. Again, try the included samples for C# or VB.
HOWEVER, what you can do it is call the JavaScript APIs (there is one for adding a watermark which you'll use) from your .NET application. See the docs about the JSObject.

When I try to open a project, the only option for a new track is for external MIDI device; when I try to open an audio or software instrument track, I get an error message saying that "the specified number of tracks could not be created. Ah.. then I suspect you just need to go to Logic's prefs/Audio and check CoreAudio...
It has been unchecked somehow...

Creating a custom keyswitch for external midi devices / channels possible?

In Logic Pro, is there an existing way to create custom keyswitches for use with EXTERNAL multi instruments? Basically, I would like to use 1 midi channel in logic, to be able to keyswitch between multiple midi channels on a gigastudio machine. For example... 1 track in the arrange page for Violas, but creating and assigning a keyswitch to switch between multiple channels and articulations on the external giga on that track. That way, I could consolidate all articulations for each instrument group onto one track.
Perhaps an existing environment or object is already available to do this? Any help would be appreciated!!

There used to be an explanation of how it worked posted somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. However, feel free to post back here or on LPH if you have questions as to its operation in detail. But for now, the basic gist:
This environment lets you change the channel of incoming notes, thereby accessing different articulations within a single multi-timbral instrument. The original intention was to use the capslock keyboard as a means to switch the channel between 1 and 16, although any external keyboard or even a portion of your existing keyboard controller could be used with some slight modification to the environment.
After you download it, simply go into the Clicks/Ports layer of the Environment and connect your capslock keyboard's output (as it appears on the large Physical Input object) to the monitor labeled "check incoming capslock notes". This bit of manual programming is necessary because the capslock output will appear in a different place on everyone's system. Then, enable the capslock keyboard and press the number 5 to put the keyboard into the correct octave for this environment. Then by playing the capslock notes you should see the channel indicator change channels.
There is a failsafe feature built into this environment (hence the complicated look of its programming) which prevents stuck notes. No matter when or how often you play notes, you can switch channels (i.e., switch articulations) and not worry about stuck notes after lifting the keys you played on the prior articulation, no matter which channel it was on.

It's not really connected to the rest of the SDK. Documentation for USRP 1.1 with Ettus N210
Where can I find documentation for using USRP 1.1 with the Ettus N210 device? The documentation that comes with USRP 1.1 has a tiny blurb on the N210 that points to the documentation for NI 292x devices for details. There, I find:
"For Ettus Research devices, use internal names to refer to the internal connectors inside the device case."
I'm trying to understand how to use the API to receive upon the LFRX-LF DC-50 MHz receiver daughter board. The two connectors on that board are labeled "RX-A" and "RX-B", but I can't get those names to work, nor can I get "RF1" or "RF2" to work (the names on the case).
Any suggestions?

Support for the LFRX 0-30 MHz daughter board was just added to the NI-USRP driver in version 1.1 and documentation for this daught board is limited. While support for the LFRX is listed, I saw no mention to the LFRX-LF 0-50 MHz daughter board. I expect that your daughter board will work, but if not this may be part of the reason.
As far as the driver is concerned, the Ettus N210 and the NI-292x devices will be configured the same so there is not different documentation for the N210. I would try using RX1 and RX2 which are the names used for the other daughter boards.

MahfoozI had the same issue on my iPod touch 4th Gen, I noticed the issue after updating the device to 6.1.5. I dont know what device or IOS your running but if it is similar then I think this ma be the cause. My solution to you is to create a free apple ID on their website, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/createAppleId. Hope this helped and good luck!

How can I create a search plugin for multiple fields
There are a number of sites that have search capabilities but they require entries into multiple fields.
One such site is for instance the IBM Employee directory.

On this site - in order to get usable results - I have to enter both First name and Last name of the employee I'm looking for.
I created a search plugin for the site, however I wasn't able to split the entered text into two parts and provide them as separate fields for the form.
Is there a way to do this?

This is excellent. Not search-plugin though but but this is as good as a search-plugin. (Even better, as I haven't seen any solution with the plugins for the problem.)

I have never created a DPS app, but have been researching this for the last 4 weeks. From what I understand, I can create a DPS app for iPad using a single edition or a multifolio app. If I want to create a DPS app for any other device, I would need to create a multifolio app. I have only a Creative Cloud account, but I believe that I will need a Professional or Enterprise account to create multifolio apps. Is there another way that I could create apps for Android, iPhone, etc devices without having to upgrated my account?

You cannot fix it. Nobody can. There is a limit to how many free iCloud accounts that can be created on one iOS device and the limit is three. Obviously, this device reached that limit which means that this open box iPad was most likely owned by someone else or customers that used theiPad in the store got cute and created iCloud accounts on it and then deleted them.
So that's why deggie is recommending that you return the iPad to Best Buy and get your money back. You bought a device that should have never been sold to you.
