Documentation in Chinese

Hi Experts,
Could anybody let me know where I can find SAP B1 Documentation in Chinese? We can access English Customer Portal. Is there Customer Portal in Chinese?
Thanks so much,
Ben

Hi Ben,
there are country specific pages in the portal, including 1 for China. Maybe you find something there.

    <URGENT PROBLEM>

    If you are using JSP as your mechanism for content display, you should use
    the contentType parameter to specify the character and coding of the JSP
    page any character encoding of the resulting stream. So far, we have not
    done a good job of documenting how to produce localized content in JSP. I
    have filed an issue for the documentation folks to work on it. For now,
    take a look at section 2.7.4 of the JSP specification version 1.1.

  • Language input - Chinese handwriting is no longer working properly

    After my Z10 was auto upgraded to OS 10.3.1.1581, the Chinese handwriting is overwritten on the same character, unless an enter is hit. Is there any special setting that needs to alter? Or there is a fix that I can apply?

    Due to the number of problems with "upgrading" to this OS level, I suggest you try the very clean and very forceful AutoLoader OS Reload:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-10-OS-Device-Software/Upgrading-OS10-devices-using...
    Beware that it is completely destructive...the device will be "like new"...no data, no apps, no accounts, etc. Be sure you take a full backup first, as well as make full manual documentation of all apps, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduces the very corruption one is trying to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is necessary.
    You can also use this to fall back to a prior OS if you desire...you can install any OS level for which you can find an AutoLoader. (Hint...search over on the CB site!)
    Good luck and let us know!

  • GUI_DOWNLOAD give 2 bytes for each chinese character - I need fixed length

    Due to the Unicode system takes each Chinese character as a byte, the field(10) can take 10 Chinese Characters, not like before only 5 characters allowed.
    The problem is when the data is downloaded to a txt file. Some records contains only Western Europe charactes and will fill 10 bytes in the output file and other records contains only Chinese characters and will fill up 20 bytes in the output file.
    The data is exported for a system that can upload chinese characters, but only allow fixed record length file (always 10 bytes).
    In other words: the records with Western Europe characters should contain 10 characters = 10 bytes but the records with Chinese characters should only contain 5 characters = 10 bytes.
    Anyone who can solve this, thanks in advance.

    Hi Thomas,
    Now I understand.
    Pl. check the class CL_ABAP_CONV_X2X_CE.
    May it can help u.
    Here is it's documentation.
    CL CL_ABAP_CONV_X2X_CE
    Short Text
    Code Page and Endian Conversion Between External Formats
    Functionality
    Instances of the class CL_ABAP_CONV_X2X_CE allow you to convert text data between different character sets and numeric data between different number formats (byte order).
    Using the class corresponds to transforming data from a binary input stream to a binary output stream: The data objects are read from the input buffer sequentially and written to an output buffer.
    The class methods are normally used as follows:
    CL_ABAP_CONV_X2X_CE=>CREATE
    This creates a conversion instance. Among other options, you can specify the following as parameters: The input buffer (that is the binary string that contains the data to be read), the character format at used in the input buffer, the byte order used in the input buffer, the character format to be used in the output buffer, or the byte order to be used in the output buffer.
    CONVERT_C, CONVERT_...
    This converts the data. Calling this method several times consecutively allows you to read data from the input buffer sequentially and add it to the end of the output buffer.
    GET_OUT_BUFFER
    This gets the output buffer, making it available for further processing (such as writing to a file, sending using RFC).
    RESET
    This allows you to reset individual attributes of the conversion instance. (This method is especially designed for restarting on a new input buffer and deleting the output buffer while retaining the remaining attributes.)
    Relationships
    CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE
    Converting Binary Data into ABAP Data Objects
    CL_ABAP_CONV_OUT_CE
    Converting ABAP Data Objects to a  Binary Format.
    CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES
    Various Attributes and Methods for Character Sets and Byte Order
    Example
    In the following example, UTF-8 texts are converted to the codepage 1100 (Latin-1) and numbers are converted from little-endian to big-endian format:
    DATA:
      in_buffer TYPE XSTRING,
      out_buffer TYPE XSTRING,
      conv TYPE REF TO cl_abap_conv_x2x_ce.
    in_buffer = '414220C3B602010000'.
    conv = cl_abap_conv_x2x_ce=>create(
             in_encoding = 'UTF-8'
             in_endian = 'L'
             out_encoding = '1100'
             out_endian = 'B'
             input = in_buffer
    CALL METHOD conv->convert_c( n = 5 ).
    CALL METHOD conv->convert_i( ).
    out_buffer = conv->get_out_buffer( ).
    The content of the in_buffer variable is made up of  5 bytes (hexadecimal "414220C3B6"), which represent 4 UTF-8 characters (A, B, SPACE, o-Umlaut), and 4 bytes (hexadecimal "02010000"),  which represent the value 258 in little-endian format. This data is converted and the out_buffer variable now contains the hexadecimal string "414220F600000102". It is made up of:
    4 bytes (hexadecimal "414220F6"), which represent the above  4 characters in codepage 1100 (ISO-8859-1). Note that the length specification n = 5 refers to the number of elementary characters to be converted. For multi-byte codepages like UTF-8 this means that the multi-byte character "C3B6" is counted in length 2.
    4 Bytes (hexadecimal "00000102"), which represent the value 258 in big-endian format.
    If you have the desired byte order in the old format as expected by TRANSLATE ... NUMBER FORMAT (as an N(4) value), you can proceed as follows:
    TYPE-POOLS: ABAP.
    CLASS cl_abap_char_utilities DEFINITION LOAD.
    DATA:
      in_number_format(4) TYPE N VALUE '0101',
      out_number_format(4) TYPE N VALUE '0000'.
    DATA:
      in_endian TYPE ABAP_ENDIAN,
      out_endian TYPE ABAP_ENDIAN,
      conv TYPE REF TO cl_abap_conv_x2x_ce..
    in_endian  = cl_abap_char_utilities=>number_format_to_endian(
                   in_number_format
    out_endian = cl_abap_char_utilities=>number_format_to_endian(
                   out_number_format
    conv = cl_abap_conv_x2x_ce=>create(
             in_encoding = 'UTF-8'
             in_endian = in_endian
             out_encoding = '1100'
             out_endian = out_endian
             input = in_buffer
    Notes
    For details refer to the documentation for the individual methods.
    Regards,
    Joy.

  • Web.show_document cannot display file with Chinese char in IIS 6

    Dear all,
    There is a problem that web.show_document cannot display file with Chinese char in IIS 6, but works fine in IIS 5.
    Is it a server problem or is there any setting in server? Do you know how to solve it?
    Big Thanks
    JY

    Hi,
    As Francois mentioned, this issue has nothing to do with forms / web.show_document. web.show_document, just opens the URL specified as parameter. So, if you run the URL (that you've passed as argument for web.show_document), directly in the browser, you would be getting the same issue.
    So, as you said, if it works fine in IIS 5 and does not in IIS 6, it would be an issue with the IIS and not forms. You might want to check out the IIS 6 release notes / documentation for any known issues / raise an issue in that.

  • How to use a select statement with chinese characters?

    I am currently developing a java servlet<using tomcat 4.x> which allows me to use select statement to retrieve results from the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database. I am using a simple form to get the parameter for querying. The main problem i'm facing is that there are chinese information in the SQL database, but i can't retrieve it through the sql statement with the chinese characters input<thru the form with the help of NJ STAR>in the WHERE condition. When i execute the statement, it returns me no results even though the rows are present in the database.
    Does anyone have the solution to using chinese words in the WHERE clause of the select statement to retrieve results with columns which contains chinese characters? Please help me. Thanks everyone. :)
    PS: when i cut and paste those characters in the sql database and paste onto java.. it is ??? in questionmarks.. but when i paste them into excel 2000.. its shown as chinese chars again..
    please heelppp~~

    Greetings,
    PS: when i cut and paste those characters in thesql
    database and paste onto java.. it is ??? in
    questionmarks.. but when i paste them into excelThis is why the SELECT is not returning any results.
    You need to set the character encoding set on your
    statement and parameters for the characters to be
    properly translated. Refer to the charsetName
    parameter in the String class constructor in your API
    docs and also to
    $JDK_DOCS/guide/intl/encoding.doc.html in your JDK
    documentation.
    2000.. its shown as chinese chars again..Because Office programs are performing the same kind
    of character translation with the appropriate MS APIs.
    please heelppp~~Regards,
    Tony "Vee Schade" Cookis it possible for you to show me some coding examples? i don't really understand what is to be done in order to set the char set and what does it really do.. tried reading up but still dun understand.. :(
    pardon my shallow knowledge of java..
    ok..
    The thing is when i used an insert statement with chinese characters of GBK format hardcoded into the java servlet and then i use the insert statement to insert the chars into the database, it cannot be seen as a chinese word when i off the NJStar. and then it can be searched out with my current form of servlet.. below is my coding of the servlet..

  • Chinese characters in outgoing emails become question marks

    Hi, all. My AT&T Blackberry Curve 8900 loaded with the AT&T East-asian rom can read and write Chinese, in IM, email, webpages. There is only one problem with the outgoing emails. I can compose an Email in Chinese and send it. The email is displayed correctly on my phone, but when shown up in the receiving email-box, all chinese characters will become question marks.
    I am using Hotmail - I don't know whether this is some problem with the server.
    Thank you in advance.

    Make sure that you have installed East Asian language support:

  • Chinese characters in Labview 8

    HI,
    I have a Labview 8 Professional version on Linux.
    I want to know if Labview 8 professional version supports chinese characters. I want to have chinese characters in my front panel but i dont know how to do it. My linux OS doesnt have any chinese characters in the regional and language settings, so i dont know how to get my program to work with chinese fonts.
    First i need to know if there are any chinese fonts available in Labview 8.
    Thanks,
    Pavitra

    Hello,
    The inherent issue is that the character representation varies (can be multiple bytes per character) across some languages in order to support the number of characters required.  This is the primary reason for the complication in supporting characters in all languages.  In any event, the LabVIEW FAQs page has the direct answer you are looking for, which I will include here for completion:
    For which platforms is LabVIEW 8 available?
    LabVIEW is available for Windows XP/2000, Mac OS, and Linux.
    Is LabVIEW 8 available in different languages?
    English, Japanese, German, French, and Korean versions of LabVIEW 8 will be available this summer. Simplified Chinese documentation also is available.
    There is documentation which notes that certain distributions/flavors of Linux have been able to support chinese characters in the past, so I will include the link below as well, although it was originally written for LabVIEW 6.1, in case it is helpful to you:
    How Can I Display Chinese Characters in LabVIEW 6.1 for Linux?
    I hope this helps!

  • How to install Chinese in Oracle Application Express 4.0?

    hi,all
    I want to know how to install Chinese in apex 4.0,though I know it's in the folder of "apex/builder/zh-cn",when I use a command like "@ load_zh-cn.sql",and it doesn't work.
    and the path is >>>>>>>>>C:\oraclexe\apex\apex\builder
    so what can i type in the terminal.
    regards
    hlee

    You might want to go through the documentation here
    To execute the SQL script you could either use the SQL script's full path
    @C:\oraclexe\apex\apex\builder\load_zh-cn.sqlor
    open Command prompt , move to that directory first and then run sqlplus
    cd "C:\oraclexe\apex\apex\builder"
    sqlplus sys/password
    @load_zh-cn.sql

  • Simplified Chinese format problem in File-File Scenario.

    Hi,
    I have configured File(FTP) - > File(FTP) Scenario.
    I am expecting a Chinese File from Source system which is AS400. I am using the file encoding format UTF-8 while the chinese characters are in GB2312 format. My sender file adapter picks up the file correctly, but SXMB_MONI gives Mapping related Parser error. Kindly Suggest.
    Do i need to change some character set or code page? if yes, where should it be done?
    Thanks Charu.

    Hi,
    Under File Encoding, specify a code page.
    The default setting is to use the system code page that is specific to the configuration of the installed operating system. The file content is converted to the UTF-8 code page before it is sent.
    Permitted values for the code page are the existing charsets of the Java runtime. According to the SUN specification for the Java runtime, at least the following standard character sets must be supported:
    US-ASCII
    Seven-bit ASCII, also known as ISO646-US, or Basic Latin block of the Unicode character set
    ISO-8859-1
    ISO character set for Western European languages (Latin Alphabet No. 1), also known as ISO-LATIN-1
    UTF-8
    8-Bit Unicode Character Format
    UTF-16BE
    16-bit Unicode character format, big-endian byte order
    UTF-16LE
    16-bit Unicode character format, little-endian byte order
    UTF-16
    16-bit Unicode character format, byte order
    Check which other character sets are supported in the documentation for your Java runtime implementation.
    XML text documents generally contain their own code page description and should be treated as binary data type.
    If it is not there the you need write the Adapter module for sender side .
    Or you can use the XSLT mapping using CDATA.

  • Chinese Character in PDF format for Oracle Reports 11g

    Hello Everyone,
    Currently we have a Report that need to be display chinese character in PDF format.
    We followed the steps specified in the "Oralce Fusion Middleware Publishing Reports to the Web with Oracle Reports Services"
    documentation but things doesn't work. We also installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 and Asian Font Pack 9 on the server side
    and even on the client/user/development side and followed the steps in the documentation, but no effect at all. Or we even
    tried "Arial Unicode MS", same thing no effect.
    For sure, we may miss something during PDF aliasing or PDF subsetting setup.
    Anyone out there who has the same experience and able to resolve the issue that currently using the Oralce Fusion Middleware Reports 11g?
    Doesn't matter if it does not related to chinese character, as long as it relates to this issue like japanese or arabic characters in PDF.
    If its ok, kindly provide the steps how you do it.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Regards and Thank you very much!

    I am now facing exactly the same problem as user449955 (Eric's). Dear Eric, how about your situation? If you have resolved this problem, may I ask for your solution?
    In my case, using either font aliasing or font subsetting doesn't work at all (displaying "garbage" characters instead of Chinese characters). The setting in my uifont.ali is as follows:
    If using font aliasing:
    [PDF]
    .....ZHT16HKSCS = "MSungStd-Light-Acro"
    If using font subsetting (the REPORTS_PATH already includes "C:\Windows\Fonts"):
    [PDF:Subset]
    "Courier New" = "mingliu.ttc,2"
    For both cases, the report server's NLS_LANG already set to "TRADITIONAL CHINESE_HONG KONG.ZHT16HKSCS" (I am in fact located at Hong Kong). For font aliasing, the client side already has Asian Adobe Reader with Asian font pack installed.
    By the way, I noticed that the WebLogic EM is configuring/updating the uifont.ali file at "<instance home>\config\FRComponent\frcommon\tools\common" directory, but the Oracle Reports 11g's documentation sometimes advise to refer to another uifont.ali file located at "<instance home>\config\FRComponent\frcommon\guicommon\tk\admin" directory. Which one of the uifont.ali files is the one used by the Oracle Reporting Service?
    My report server's platform is Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit) and the Reports version is 11.1.1.3.
    Anyone can help to advise?
    Thank you very much.
    Regards

  • Chinese character display problem

    Hi
    I can't display normal chinese character in a portlet or even
    on a "button" in a portal server 4.0 sp1, is there any config
    file I should modified or any suggestion? Thanks a lots

    David,
    You should read the WLS I18N documentation. In particular weblogic.xml for
    WebApps contains a number of parameters that may be necessary.
    Sincerely,
