hi revathi,
I have written a program to retrieve all the custom programs, fm , and user exits. Now I want to pass each prog, each function group , each user exit to uccheck to get errors of individual by using submit statement for 'rsuniscan_final' executable program. What is the syntax to write this. I want to do the same for every function group, user exit , each infotype and programs unicode errors.

Hi Yoav,
The LIV invoice posts a MM based document and a Finance document.
A Validation in Finance will affect the posting for the Finance document mentioned above, even though it comes from LIV - MM.
If you want to affect the MM document, then I would suggest you post this thread on the ABAP and MM boards as some of the users there may know a user exit that can be used to validate the values posted.

Validation user exit at asset master data

hi all,
at asset master data creation level, if you want to validate company code vs asset class vs equipment type, how do you define validation user exit? Also, we have so many company codes. Do we have to individually validate rules for each and every company code?

Steps for Variable User Exit

Hi All,
I have to do some coding in my variable exit. I have followed the follwing steps to create a project a write the code. Anyone please confirm if my steps are correct or missing anything.
1. Go to CMOD, give project name and Click on create.
2. Enhancements -> give RSR00001. and click on Components.
3. Double click on 'EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001'. This will bring up the functionmodule in which we can find an include.
4. Double click on 'ZXRSRU01' Include.
5. Press Enter for the warning message.
6. It gave me a message saying that 'the Include doesnot exist, Do you want to create it'. Click Yes. This will bring up a blank ABAP editor.
7. Write the required code using CASE Statement.
Am I missing anything here?
I would be grateful if someone can send me any documents relating to the variable User Exits.

Mblnr field for mb1c user exit on save

Hello All,
Im using user exit, "EXIT_SAPMM07M_001" in enhancement package "MBCF0002".
I want to use MBLNR field but when i run program and fall into this user exit, i check local variables but MBLNR field is empty.
How can i get this field?
Any ideas?

It has 'I_MSEG' structure which 'mblnr' field. did you check this field. it should have value because that is main key in determining material document.
i think my understanding of the issue is in right path.

Best Practises and Guidelines for SharePoint 2013 Development

Currently We are using SharePoint 2010 and doing a lot of enhancement and customization in the portal.
we are planning to migrate SharePoint 2013 after 6-9 months.
I want to know what are the best practices and guidelines for development in SharePoint 2010 keeping one thing in mind that customization should be compatible or can easily migrate to SharePoint 2013 so that re-engineering effort would be as minimum
as possible.
We have every possible piece of customization in SharePoint 2010 portal like web part, event receivers, workflows, master page, page layout, custom search etc.
Please do the needful.

Best practices don't really apply here. They are generally rules of thumb that you can apply without thinking too much and be pretty much right. Development is by it's nature too varied to allow that sort of best practice guidance.
Having said that the main thing you should be concerned with around the choice of development approach in 2013 is the intended future of your client and the application. If they are making a move to the cloud you should be concentrating on the app model
and rapidly phasing out farm solutions. If they are considering it then you can still consider using the more old-school options of farm solutions and sandboxed solutions. If they can't go to the cloud because of data security etc. then you are more or less
free to use what you like.
Also, try to move to client side processing wherever possible. MS are only going to make server side work less pleasant in future.
Beyond that, get to some conferences and start chewing through some of the blogs on the topic.

Set default Skin and Layout for all users

Hi all,
Im using UCM 10GR3 and i must set an default skin and layout for all users.
Into General Configurations Field > System Variables i set
LMDefaultSkin=MySkin
LMDefaultLayout=MyLayout
But this didnt work. Anybody have a clue?
My skin is working fine but i have to change via My Profile.

Apple mentioned for their products users around the world but many of their free itunes products are available only for USA and not for the users from the other side of the globe?
Is this Apple a fair and customer oriented company or full of bias and Only money oriented company.
If apple could not make thier other FREE stuffs available outside US territory then better for thsi company to just sell their products in USA. its just so disgusting... If we need a certain apps (FREE APPS) available only for US based users.

Validation \ User-exit \ BADI \ BTE for F-43 for missing exchange rate

Hi,
I maintain the exchange rate on a daily basis in TCURR exchange rate table.
But, let's say that, by accident, in one day I fail to input the exchange rate.
In this case, when I input a invoice in F-43, I'd like for the system to issue a warning (blocking) message saying that there is no exchange rate for that specific posting (translation) date.
I tryed to create a validation for F-43. But the conditions available in validation are just too simple and I couldn't achieve my goal.
However, I saw I can attach an user exit to the validation or an user exit directly in F-43.
I found in SMOD the following user-exits for F-43 (in package FBAS), but I don't know how to use them:

Can you help me to attach an user-exit to a validation or an user exit directly in F-43 to do the specified validation?
Or maybe this can be done with a BADI \ BTE?

I succeded creating the validation with an user-exit. I made the following steps:
1) I created the validation in GGB0 (for document header), issuing a standard message (420 "Exchange rate not found") from message class (ZRSAU) - which is a copy of RSAU message class (in the beggining I put no pre-requisites, checks or rules, just the message).
2) In OB28 I attached the validation (with call point document header) and I made it active (without batch input).
3) I copied the RGGBR000 program (which is standard program with an example of validation) into ZRGGBR00 (it should be maximum 8 characters).
Then I changed the ZRGGBR00 program (form U100) comparing the translation date (from BKPF) with the date from table TCURR (and exchange rate type M, and documents currency other than local currency).
If the program doesn't find any exchange rate in TCURR in that date, it issues the error message (assigned in GGB0).
4) In GGB0, I put the U100 user exit as a check and rule
5) In GCX2, I attached the ZRGGBR00 program to the GBLR application area (which is for user exits for validations / rules).
Now it's working fine!

Profit Center Master Data - Validation - User Exit

I need to add few validation to the profit center master data. If there is any user exit that I can use or is there any validation like OB28 (we have for financial accounting document) that can be used.

We are on version 4.6C. Requirement is that while creating profit center, two fields, Budget Holder and CC Board Member field should be updated via some valid user id that exist in SAP.
This user id would be used in work flow. This fields are free field and would accept anydata. But subsequent processes would be hindered. Same thing has been implemented for Cost center and we were able to get hold of user exit but I am struggling to find the same for profit center.
As far as I am aware there might not be any user exit for KE51 tcode. Now only point is is there any other way (like validation) which can be setup before the data us saved so that we have control over the data being saved in these two fields.

I'm looking for some connection between purchasing document (BELNR) and COVP table to use it in a user exit.
And another thing: what segments are available for a programmer during validation? is there any way to check it out? i'm using COBL segment to perform my select data for my validation exception but I need a key field like BELNR to do it right.

Problem in triggering the code for CO02 User Exit

Hi,
I am using the code for the Tcode CO02 (User Exit) and i am facing a problem that when i am using the code as a normal program it is executing fine and displaying the pop up window and showing the data in it.
But when i am using that code in the USER EXIT code it is not trigerring that pop up window.
I am using the enhancement:-
