Documentum with EP7.0

Hi,
Has anybody tried Integrating Documentum with EP7.0. I have read from other threads taht there was a BP for EP5.0. But I dont see the BP right now in portfolio section.
I also read that NW04 does not support JSR168. Does NW04s support it ?
Is this the name of the BP - BP for DMS Connector KM 1.0

Help me , Documentum with SAP R/3 Integration

Hi Experts,
Can any body help out please, regarding Documentum with SAP R/3 Integration.
Requirement : when i access any transaction in SAP R/3 like SD,MM,FI And ..., I need to store Content and Properties in Documentum (content server). If any body have experince in this scenario. Please give me in details.

I think you are quesiton is more R/3 related. I suggest to publish this thread in the right forum (SAP Solutions or SAP Netweaver Forums). Here we focus in the integration with SAP B1.

Well with webdynpro IE7 definitely has a problem for which a solution is proposed below.
Please follow sap note 991449. else check below.
Solution:
Microsoft IE 7 browser version will be supported starting with following
Web Dynpro support packages:
NetWeaver04, SPS19
NetWeaver04s, SP10
If an earlier version of Web Dynpro is used, there are two possibilities to
enable IE7 for Web Dynpro. The two possibilities will be discussed in the
following:
o Change configuration of supported clients:
==========================================
Open Visual Administrator. On the relevant server instance,
navigate to "Services -> Configuration Adapter". In the detail
view, a tree becomes visible. Navigate to "webdynpro -> sap.com ->
tcwddispwda -> "Propertysheet clients". Open this propertysheet
in edit mode by pressing the "Edit" button on the toolbar. Change
following two properties in the propertysheet wizard:
- property "clienttypes":
default value is: "msie6|op6|msie5|ns7|safari|java|win|ecatt"
change value to: "op6|msie5|msie6|ns7|safari|java|win|ecatt"
- property "msie6.recognition":
default value is: "MSIE 6."
change value to: "MSIE"
Having done this, close the wizard and press again the "Edit"
button to save the changes. Afterwards, a restart of the engine is
required in order to make these changes effective. The Web Dynpro
runtime should then be able to allow the usage of Microsoft IE7 as browsers.
No idea wether it will resolve ur problem but u can give it try. it mite work out.

Integrating Documentum 6.5 in EP7

We are trying to integrate Documentum 6.5 with EP7. We have installed the required business package in portal. Now i need clarifications in following things.
1. When i try to CREATE the jco destinations for WD_DCTM_FIBROWSER_RFC_METADATA_DEST and WD_DCTM_FIBROWSER_RFC_METADATA_DEST what client number do i need to provide.Documentum team says they don't have any client number for there system.
2. How to define the documentum system in SLD or is it required to define in SLD.
3. Need some detailed configaration doc for this in portal.

ESS 50.4 -> EP 5/6, R3 4.6C/4.7
ESS 60.2 -> EP 7, ERP 2004
ESS 1.0 -> EP 7, ERP 2005
I have implemented ESS 50.4 with EP7 and both R3 4.7 and ERP 2005. It can be done, but when I spoke to a contact from SAP they stated the landscape I was using was not recommend and there was no documentation availbale for the specific landscape. You have to use bits of documents from various guides.

SAP Portal Integration with Documentum

Hello All - I am Documentum person and new to SAP Portal and Integration.
I need to know can we Integration the SAP Portal with Documentum 6.7.
If yes, What all components required from SAP product and my requriement is below.
a. Create Forms / GUI to capture the some data from poertal user and provide the attachment button.
b. Once user submit the form with attachment need to store the content to Documentum with Metadata.
c. Provide the Browse option to the user on Portal to view the content.
Please let me know it is possible - I know modules like ASSAP and CSSAP provided by the Documentum - but I believe those works from SAP Modules and not the SAP Portal.
Kindly confirm - can someone tell me what all product will be requried - will it be customization on SAP portal to create such forms and integrate with Documentum ?

Help needed with weblogic portal and documentum.

hi guys,
i have a project in which i have to use documentum with site caching services with weblogic portal 8.1. the html and xml pages will be stored in documentum and the metadata in oracle 8i and xslt will be used for transformation.
Does anybody have any clue what api or things to use for this thing.

I will use configuration manager to configure. Please let me know the documentum parameters/credentials require to configure adobe lc with documentum when i select adobe live cycle connector for ECM on "module selection" screen.
I have never configure adobe lc with documentum. Please also post me links to understand more how documentum benefits when configured with adobe lc

Refers to the credentials of the Documentum user who has login rights to the documentum server. To get more details about any parametrers used in Configuration Manager please use the F1 key on that screen.

Documentum integration with NW04

Hi Colleagues,
My customer would like to integrate documentum in his EP (NW04).
Since NW04 does not support JSR168, documentum BP can not be implemented in NW04.
Do you have any suggestions how to over come this probelm?
1. Can we modify documentum BP (easily) and fix the problem with some code?
2. Should we use WebDAV in order to integrate the two systems? what will be the disadvantages of this solution.

Storing SD invoices in Documentum

Hi all:
I need to store outgoing invoices generated by the sales department into Documentum content server.
I've made the following customizing, but I think I need to do anything else, as it doesn't work...
NACE: Output Control
Chosen V3 (Billing) application
Output type RD00 (Invoice), updated Storage system tab with the following values:
storage mode = 3 print and archive
document type = SDOINVOICE
OAC0 (Content Repository)
Created a repository in Documentum with Document Area = ARCHIVELINK and connection test passed successfully
OAC2 (Document types)
SDOINVOICE associated to document class PDF
OAC3 (Links)
Created link between Object type VBRK (Customer Individual Billing Document) and Document type SDOINVOICE (Billing document) in the content repository created in Documentum
Then, in transaction VF02 (Change Billing Document), I go to Header --> Output, and I enter the RD00 message type.
In Communication method, I choose the local spool, and select Print immediately.
In Further Data, as Dispath Time, I choose Send immediately (when saving the application) option.
After saving the Billing Document, the Processing Log shows the following error:
Maintain archiving parameter(s) for output type RD00 (appl. V3): Message no. VN096
Is any other customizing needed?
Do I have to create any special logical destination to be able to storage the documents properly? If so, how do I have to create it? (transaction, parameters, etc.)

Hi Maria,
Check whether already a output device ARCH exists in SPAD and check whether you have maintained ARCH as output device for the content repository in OAC0.
If ARCH is not already existing in SPAD, try the following:
1. Call transaction code SPAD.
2. Click on Output Devices-> Display.
3. Click on Change.
4. Click on Create and make the following entries:
Output Device - ARCH
Short Name - ARCH
Device Type - ARCHLINK: SAP Archive Link Archiver
Spool Server - Press F4 to get a list of spool server. Choose one of
them as per requirement
Device Class - Archiving Program
Change to tab Access Method
HostSpool Access Method - I: Archiving Device
Note: Please note down the changes you make, so that you can revert back in case it doesnt work
