  • Enable 'Mobile Phone' and 'Telefon at work' under ESS-SAP -Enterprise Portal (SAP-EP)

    Hi,
I want to enable the IT0105 subtypes Communication ID i.e. 0020 and MPHN for users to be able modify this data through Portal. While I am aware of a telephone number field being available already under ESS- Address Information, would it be possible to record the users telephone at work and mobile phone at work through any standard options?
Is there a possibility through FPM anywhere? We are looking for a non-customizing option and any possibility to avail this option through Standard or minimum customizing would be really helpful.
Could anyone here please provide your inputs on this case.
    Warm Regards,
    Vinay

Yes it is possible with configuration in EHP6 and later with subtype specific UIBBs. See Exciting Enhacements to ESS Personal Information Profile in Enhancement pack 6 for details. This discussion thread belongs to the SAP ERP HCM Employee Self-Service space.

  • Info record creation from schedule agree, with all conditions

    HI
We wish to create Inforrecord from schedule agreements, When we used Info update indicator B its creating Info record but not copying conditions from schele agreement only order history is updated
Is there any way we can copy all conditions from schedule agreement to info record?
    Thanks

I realized, standard SAP behaviour is
    Info record does not exist
    Quotation
Time-dependent conditions and their supplementary conditions are adopted
      Scheduling agreement
Is set as last document; order price history is updated
      Contract
Time-dependent conditions and their supplementary conditions are adopted
      Purchase order
Is set as last document; order price history is updated
IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO ACIEVE CPYING OF ALL CONDITIONS FROM SCHEDULE AGREEMENT TO INFORECORD

  • SRM and the Info record

    Hi,
If I use a Classic Scenario the info record is a source of supply. So, we need to delete it when we implement the SRM.
How do I do with the costs calcutation?
The variants use the info record as a base to do the calculation.
    Thanks for the help
    Evelyn

    Hi Evelyn
As i understand, you want to use the info record for the costs calculation SAP ERP.
But you don´t want the info records to appear as source of supply in SAP SRM.
To solve this i suggest to implement the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI in SRM and delete the info record information from the positions:
Importing Structure is "it_item" field "BE_INFO_REC".
Alternativ you can implement the Sourcing Badi´s: BBP_SOS_BADI
    Best regards,
    David

  • How do I get ALL the info records for a materials plants using an SAP FM?

I need to get all of the info records from the EINE table for a material - all of its sites (plants, we are using SAP retail).
The problem is this:  I call the FM MD_INFORECORDS_READ - here is the code for my call:
    CALL FUNCTION 'MD_INFORECORDS_READ'
              EXPORTING
                imatnr               = t_output_data-article <-- the material number
                iliefnr              = lv_eina_key < -- see below on how I get this
              importing
                eeine                =
              TABLES
                exp_eina             = it_eina
                exp_eine             = it_eine
              EXCEPTIONS
                no_eina_record_found = 2
                no_eine_record_found = 3.
lv_eina_key is taken from this call:
    SELECT SINGLE altkn INTO lv_vendor_no
            FROM lfb1
            WHERE lifnr = lv_site (plant)
            AND bukrs = t_output_data-company_code.
The probelm is it only returns the first record it finds for each site.  There could be multiple info records, each one based a a different Valid From date for each site.  I need either ALL of the EINE records for each site OR the most current one
I know I am not using ALl of the parms in the FM - but are there  maybe there are other ones should I be using.
Perhaps there is there another FM I should be using - cause I do not have the info record number to pass.
    Thanks.
    Scott

Never mind - the FM does work - this was bad data.

  • SAP PUR: Purchase requisition getting valution from Info Record

    Hi all,
I'm trying to see why SAP doesn't get the valuation from the Info Record when creating a PR.
I put the fixed vendor, it automatically determines the info record number, but it is not putting the value in the PR.
Is there any answer to this?

    Hi
PR never pickes valuation price from info record. Valuation Price is internal and stocks are valuated at valuation price. If you fix a vendor in PR then that is used in PO for price. But valuation price will not be chnaged automatically. It is alwys copied from Material master. You can edit it. It is used for release procedure of PR and Price comparison between PO and PR valaution price.
Hope my answer helps u to understand.
    Regards
    Antony

  • SAP MM:Purchase info record

    Hi experts,
Can anyone tell me the complete process of purchase info record (ME11).Complete screen steps what are the tabs are there in ME11.I want screenshots of ME11
Hope for good answer from experts
    Regards
    sandhya

    Hi Sandya,
If you want to create it manually you can do so by using the SAP transaction code ME11. At the initials screen the following are the input values:
    Vendor Number
    Material Number
    Purchasing Organization
    Plant
    Info Category
After key in these values at the initial screen you can maintain rest of the information related to material and vendor in the subsequent screen. These information can be group as follows:
    Purchasing Organization Data
    Conditions
    Texts
As per the business requirement you can make some of the fields (information) as mandatory by customizing. You can also restrict the end user from modifying these information once saved in the system.
In the standard SAP purchasing info record is maintained as a source of information for Purchasing.
It contains some of the information from material master and some of the information related to its supplier/vendor.
Hence Material and Vendor Master is pre-requisite for a purchasing info record. You can also maintain the
purchasing information record without material master record if your material is for direct consumption.
Here you can use material group instead of material master. You can have more than one purchasing information
record for a single material if it is being supplied by more suppliers, one for each supplier. Information maintained
in purchasing information records is used as default data in documents such as purchase orders.
In standard SAP Info record stands for information record which contains concise information about a vendor and a material that Purchasing already procures from that vendor. An info record thus represents a material-vendor relationship. Following are some of the information maintained in Info record:
Units of measure in which materials are ordered from the vendor
    The applicable reminder levels
Prices and Conditions with validity period (Present and Future)
    Applicable Tax Code
    Planned Delivery Time
    Standard & Maximum Quantity
Tolerance limits for over-deliveries and under-deliveries
Number of Last Purchase Order or Quotation
    Text
    Vendor evaluation data
An indicator for showing vendor as regular vendor for the material
The vendor sub-range to which the material belongs
The availability period during which the vendor can supply the material

  • Vendor Info Record in SAP CRM

    Hi,
Can you please help me in suggesting if I can download vendor info records created in ME13 transaction in ECC can be downloaded to CRM?If yes then how will i maintain my material master in CRM w.r.t. vendors?

We have already managed to download the vendor data in crm and are able to maintain manually the material vendor relationship in COMMPR01 but my question was that when we have an ECC system also where the Source list for the products are being maintained in the ME01 transaction and then we create the vendor info recored in the me 13 transaction in the ECC to maintain data specific to the Material and vendor, can we download the same in the CRM.
e.g. P01 has vendor V01 and V02 in source list and in vendor info record for the P01-V01 combination we have set of fields and attributes and similarly fr the P01-V02
How to use this info in CRM for search of product or in any transaction? Is the source list download will mean that the vendor material relationship will be automatically downloaded also?

  • How can I create a schedule in Java for sending mail from SAP?

    Hello;
I am coding a programme in Java which reads data from KM. I wish to schedule a job which sends mail to a list of persons selected from KM. I read the article by Prakash Singh and based my programme on his explanations.
    /people/prakash.singh4/blog/2005/04/20/did-you-know-you-can-schedule-jobs-in-portal-using-kms-scheduler-task
My first problem is that I don't know how to send mail in SAP, and how to use Java to send this mail. My second problem is how to develop this "schedule job" function - is it enough to use Prakash Singh's method, or does it need to be changed?
Can anyone help me with these questions?
    Thank you very much, R.E.

    Hi,
I dont know about the CATS system. But when ur user selects the varaint, he should remove his own id and execute the query. This should display all the variants existing for that program. Then he can select the required variant.
The user can also save this varaint under his own ID
    Hope it helps.
    Regards.

  • Two sap enterprise portal in the same server

    Hi,
We have installed a SAP Enterprise Portal on a linux server, all ok!!. but now we want to install another SAP Portal in the same server with the same ehp and same sp, but diferent url, is it possible? and we have something in mind when we began to install it..
e.g. diferents ports or diferents database SID to avoid errors.
    thankssss

    Hi Carlos,
SAP Software in general is flexible regarding this requirement.
A SAP ID identifies the system, and the Instance ID is related to the Portnumbers that are used...
So lets say you have an:
    - host called "linuxhost1" and
       - you installed a SAP system "AB1" and
          - the CI is 00 and SCS is 01
then you can install multiple additional installations for example
    - host called "linuxhost1" and
       - you installed a SAP system "AB2" and
          - the CI is 02 and SCS is 03
    etc etc..
As long as your host has enough resources you can fill it up...
The instance numbers you chose are reflected in the portnumbers. So in my example above  the AB1 portal is called by http://linuxhost1:50000 and AB2 portal is called by http://linuxhost1:50200...
So in other words the instance number of the CI is used in the portnumber of the java instance (5NN00).
The above info is also spread among different SAP installation guides, and SAP help pages.
    Cheers,
    B

  • How to connect SAP R/3- System with SAP NetWeaver Portal (2004s)?

    Hello to all,
sorry, can someone help me? How can I connect SAP R/3- System with SAP NetWeaver Portal (2004s)?
    Thanks and regards,
    Galyna

    Hi,
In previous link contain this info
This describes how to connect an SAP R/3 system to SAP NetWeaver Portal using an iView
    1)      Go to System Administration
    2)      Go to System Configuration
    3)      Go to Portal Content (Right Side Panel), open that folder.
    4)      Right Click on Portal Content, a Panel is displayed select "System (from Template)".
    5)      That will display a new view on right side, now select "SAP system using dedicated application server" from
the existing templates. (Other templates are possible - for example, load balanced or through a SAProuter connection string).
For this exercise, we'll use the simplest type.
    6)      Choose next
    7)      Give the System Name and System Id (which are mandatory fields) incase you want to give any brief notes
about the system then give them in the "Description" field.
    8)      Open the Newly Created System.
    9)      Now when you want to create a New System, you have to fill four Properties they are:
"Connector" - contains basic connectivty details
"Internet transaction Server (ITS) - if you wish to use SAPGUI for HTML and/or IACs",
"Web Application Server" - if you wish to access BSPs and/or Web Dynpro for ABAP and
    "User Management".
You also need at least one "System Alias" has to be defined from the Display drop down menu.
Make sure you have set end user access in the Permissions drop down menu to all users who need to access the system
    10)  Select "Connector" property, now fill the required fields such as:
    a)      Application Host (should be fully qualified hostname) - Give the R/3 "Application Name",
which can be obtained from the SAP Logon Pad (check what R/3 system you are using, right click on it , go to the properties,
it will open a window which has the Application Server Name.
    b)      Logical System Name - Give the logical name as defined in the backend system
    c)      SAP Client - Check the Client in the backend system and give the appropriate number (3 digits)
    d)      SAP System ID(SID)* - Check the R/3 properties and give the check for System ID
    e)      System Type* - Since we are connecting to R/3, select SAP_R3 system.
    f)       System Number - This is a two digit number that you can find in the SAP Logon Pad
    11)  Select "Internet transaction Server (ITS)" property, now fill the required fields like
    a)      ITS Description à Give some Description
    b)      ITS Host Name - Same as "Application Host" of R/3 (when integrated ITS) and should be attached with the
port number of ITS Server (to get port number detailed description is given below). ex: hostname : port number
    c)      ITS Path - To get the path along with the port number you have to Log on to R/3 system. Use the
Transaction Code "SICF", it opens a new window go to:
          default_host -> sap -> bc -> gui -> sap -> its -> webgui -> SAP GUI for HTML -> right click on
that and click "Test Service'. This will open a new window, on the address bar you will find the "port number", and
the path something like (/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui). Use the path after the port number.
    d)      ITS Protocol - There are two protocols "http" & "https", select the appropriate protocol which is
visible when you opened "Test Service" window.
    12)  Select "Web Application Server" property , now fill the required fields like
    a)      Web AS Description -> Give some Description
    b)      Web AS Host Name - same as ITS Host Name
    c)      Web AS Path - usually /sap/bc/bsp/sapd)*
Web AS Protocol - should be same as the ITS Protocol.
    13)   Select "User Management" property, now fill the required fields like
    a)      Authentication Ticket Type - Since we are not using SSO leave the field
empty i.e. put in select mode. (Please note that longer term you will probably want to use SSO)
    b)      Logon Method - Select UIDPW.
    c)      User Mapping Type - In case you have administration rights then you choose "admin" or in case you
just have user rights then choose "user", better go for "admin/user".
    14)   Since all the required fields are filled appropriately now create a System Alias name, this can be done by following steps:
    a) go to Display -> Select "System Aliases" give some Alias Name, let's call it "SAP_R/3"
    15)  Now that System is created we have to create a iView which will display the given Transaction Code.
    16)  Go To "Content Administration".
    17)  Go To "Portal Content".
    18)  Go to Portal Content (Right Side Panel), open that folder
    19)  Right Click on Portal Content, a Panel is displayed select "New" -> iView
    20)  Select iView template, click next
    21)  Select "SAP Transaction iView" from the list of templates available. Click next.
    22)  Give the iView name and iView ID. Incase you want to give any brief notes about the iView then give it in "Description" field. Click next
    23)   Select "SAP GUI for HTML" radio button. Click next
    24)  Now select the system which you have create "SAP_R/3", give some Transaction Code, say SE12 (Dictionary Display). Click next and Finish.
    25)  Now Preview the iView
    26)  You will see a new Window where in SE12 Dictionary Display window is displayed.
