Microsoft is aware of the problem but if you like, go ahead and report a already known issue with the VB.NET forum (no different than other sub-forums)
Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help, this will help others who are looking for solutions to the same or similar problem.

I can't be certain Microsoft is aware. Even though you say they are aware. Nor do I know what Microsoft is aware of regarding other issues with Forums. Of which there are some.
So should I assume Microsoft is aware of everything and not correcting anything?
And what about the future? When Microsoft updates Forums? When should I assume Microsoft is aware about issues? I don't see any notifications on what Microsoft is aware of from Microsoft. No stickies, no nothing.
Nobody should require ESP to know what Microsoft is aware of or have to search to attempt to find that out. At least that's not in my job description. Microsoft should provide that information directly where it is necessary for those who use their Forums
so those using a Forum can review that.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

Look at the top right of the page, "Start watching topic". Click on that to put a watch on. Later you can just browse through all your watches. You can also set email replies whenever somebody posts to your thread (I don't use it, does that still work?).

I keep receiving the warning about dropped frames? How do I fix it?

I have already changed it off of Unlimited RT.

You can just turn it off. That warning simply means that FCP can't call the frames up and/or apply the effects (if any) fast enough to play the timeline in 100% real time. So it drops some frames while playing the timeline back at play speed.
This is only an issue if you are playing out the timeline to tape, if not, and you are going to output the timeline as a file - then you don't need to to worry about it.
Final Cut will just do its best to show as many frames as it can as it plays, but when you export the timeline, all the frames will be exported.
The warning is a legacy warning from the days of videotape. You can switch it off by unchecking the warn next time box, or going the menu Final Cut Pro > User Preferences and on the General Tab, uncheck the box for "report dropped frames during playback".
Having said all that, it looks like you are working with camera files that H.264 or variants, is this correct?
You should convert all the footage to ProRes and then edit on a ProRes timeline. H.264 footage is problematic in FCP-7.

I have asked this question several times, and keep getting shunted back, about not being able to add a bookmark to a folder in the bookmarks menu

I made a folder to hold bookmarks of one type. when i tried to add another bookmark to this folder the folder will not show up so i can add this bookmark, the box only extends down a short distance, none of the folders are in the order they are supposed to be, and the one i need i can not access.

I have Stumble Upon and it is not affecting my Bookmarks links. DO you have any add-ons that are Bookmark related add-ons? Maybe one of them took over and you can find your folders in that add-on application?

VSS will map to your file system, you can check things in/out, and they will show
on your drive. Once there you can use Workshop to do your work. After you are
done you can go back to VSS and check things in/out, etc. OOTB WLW has integration
with CVS and Perforce which cuts down on the application switching, but you can
still use VSS to do your source control.

Why does Firefox keep opening new Windows rather than a new Tab in the current window?

I have " Open a new Tab in the current Window" select in Preferences.
Why then does this version (Version 4) keep opening new Windows, rather than new Tabs in the current Window.
This feature worked fine in 3.6.1.3, but in Version 4, it is a frigging pain in the rigging!

It sounds like it starting to charge, then suddenly stops over and over. This can happen if the cable or adapter is bad or if your charing port has an issue.
Try using a different cable and/or wall adapter. If the issue continues, it's probably the iPhone. If it does not continue, then it's the cable or adapter. Continue to swap to see what's bad.
If you don't have another cable or adapter to test will, take your iPhone and your cable/adapter combo to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. They can help you narrow the issue down and provide service as indicated. https://locate.apple.com/country

I'm unable to sync my iPod with my Surface Pro 3. Does anybody know how to fix this? Please share

I've been able to download iTunes Version 12.1.1. I'm just wondering if i should get a new mp3 player since I've read that it's difficult to sync iPods with Surface Pros.

Since the Surface Pro 3 is effectively a standard Windows 8.1 system with a "tablet" form factor it should be fine (I don't have one - yet - but I know people who are using the Pro 3 with iTunes/iPods without problems).
You may be encountering an issue that occurs with the last two releases of iTunes - 12.1.0.71 and 12.1.1.4 are (unlike previous "64-bit" versions of iTunes) full 64-bit applications - prior to 12.1 most "64-bit" versions were actually 32-bit applications with a 64-bit installer. Many users have encountered issues with the 64-bit version of 12.1 - less so with 12.1.1.4, but it appears that there are some remaining incompatibilities/inconsistencies with some 64-bit Windows systems. Even though I've not seen this reported specifically for the Surface Pro 3, it may be worth trying this alternative installer: iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards). The "for older video cards" label is a little misleading, since although this does resolve a video compatibility issue that iTunes detects when first run it is actually the same architecture as pre-12.1 releases (32-bit applications with a 64-bit installer).
You don't say that you've actually had sync problems or are just concerned that you might ... if the former, posting back more details of symptoms may be useful. For example, if you connect your iPod does it show up in iTunes? If not, there may be specific resolutions that could work rather than using the "for older video cards" version - see iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support

Call waiting says "multiple calls" rather than listing the number or the contact. This error is not consistent, sometimes it says "multiple calls" and other times it lists the contact. This is happening on a coworker's iPhone 4s. Does anyone know how to get it to list the contact every time?

It sounds as though it may not be ending calls correctly, I would try restarting the phone, and then resetting all settings.

Unable to restart the Microsoft Software Protection Platform service from command line - Win81 MS Office 2013 SP1

I'm unable to restart the Microsoft Software Protection Platform service on a Windows 8.1 laptop for MS Office 2013 SP1 (32-bit) using the following command:
cscript ospp.vbs /osppsvcrestart (issued from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15)
When this is run, a window appears with the title ospp.vbs and the text "Error: The Software Protection Platform service is not installed"
I verified that the service is installed in services.msc, and was able to manually stop and restart the SPP service in the Services console without issue.
The command runs correctly when restarting the MS Office 2013 SPP on Windows 7 devices.
Has anyone else seen this or have a solution for it?
The reason that I am attempting to restart the service from the command line is because this command is part of a script to change the KMS server IP Address used by OSPP prior to software activation.
The only other options that I have at this time is to ask the users to reboot, or manually force a reboot. This is both time consuming and disruptive to the users.
The Fix It tool to remove MS Office 2013 was run, and the MS Office 2013 software was successfully reinstalled after a reboot. The software was successfully activated. When the command was run, it produced the same exact error.

I am able to reproduce this on my own machine, but in my case, I don't see the specific service running in the Services console.
I would like first confirm that whether you've the right service running on your Windows 8.1 system. The display name of this service should be "Office Software Protection Platform", service name is "osppsvc".
You can also check this by going to below path where you should see the executable file (OSPPSVC.EXE) if the service is installed on your system (in my case, the folder is empty):
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform
