This is usually caused by some sort of class loader problem. Either the Oracle DB class loader changed in a way that breaks access to resources in jar files, or something has changed in your configuration.

I am new to dbxml, I found the java API of dbxml must deployed with libdbxml_java*, libdbcxx* libraries.
does it working with pure java implementation, je-?-?-?.jar.

DBXML code is written in C++ with difefrent bindings for multiple languages, like Perl or Java. Therefore DB XML utilizes C++ version of BDB and can't use BDB Java Edition.

Does BC work with "Make attribute editable"?

Previously, I've built templates which include editable optional regions where I can then edit the template properties and adjust the classes using Modify > Template > Make Attribute Editable, and be able to change the class of an item per page. When I try to do this now, Modify > Template properties is greyed out, so I can't implement this feature (I'm assuming because it's a BC-integrated template). Does this feature integrate well with BC? I can't figure out the best way to implement a sub-menu system where the current page class changes for a menu item (see image). Any thoughts/ideas? I don't want to hve to make 15 templates to have to edit.
Would content holders work?

Not what I was refering to in terms of the tag but admin use. You may not use the admin to manage sites but cleints do. I see a lot of people develop or build BC sites in a way that do not consider their cleints using it properly. I Can implement heaps more things then I actually do for clients but I do not do so if it wont be nice to manage. It is scraped and other sollutions made. Even if that means more scripting.
I did the above ONCE and the client had a very very hard time managing their pages in the admin, it was a mess and never did it again.
Script could work but you would also need to strip out the spaces or replace them with regex. The effort though and then the need to add them in into the css manually each time is not really very maangeble. There are a number of other options instead.

This is true. If you use Fiddler to watch the requests from the list view quick edit you can see CSOM calls. For example when changing a value in a cell, when you tab out you will see the SetFieldValue and Update method calls on the list item.

You may be thinking - that's great but Captivate doesn't publish for Tin Can.
Well, I'm here to tell you about a litle project that aims to allow you to take Captivate swfs and drop them into a Tin Can package that will communicate with the LRS. I've so far developed a proof of concept - a Captivate swf that reports to a TIn Can LRS and also successfully bookmarks. Its far from being a finished product and there's a lot of stuff like hard coded variables and missing functionality, but the basics are there.

Hi folks,My host are still being rubbish so I've re-written the site in static HTML, moved it across to Github and re-pointed the DNS. All the good content is not available again, but in a nicer and mobile friendlier format. http://www.tincanapi.co.uk
The downside is that all of the urls have changed for the individual pages so any existing links to specific pages will get a lovely custom 404 error and need to be changed to point to the new location.

As a temporary workaround, I believe this Adobe management page allows you to clear your "Flash cookies": [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel] (hosted on macromedia.com -- Macromedia was the original developer of Flash).
Regarding the script error, if I'm reading the script correctly, it is related to accessing your Flash cookies directory. It seems the publisher's support forum is not currently available for searching, but that might be a good next step.
In the meantime, could you check whether the script has the correct location for your Flash cookies directory? If you can't access Tool > BetterPrivacy, you could check here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste '''bpr''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) There should be a bolded setting named '''extensions.bprivacy.DataDir''' which looks approximately like the following:
C:\Users\''yourWindowsUsername''\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia
Do you have a similar value? If you paste the path used by BetterPrivacy into a Windows Explorer window, does it open? Also, click a couple levels in the folder, can you see:
Flash Player \ #SharedObjects
If the value is wrong, right-click the wrong value and choose Reset. BetterPrivacy should update the value the next time you try to access it.
If the value is blank, you could try inserting a sensible value and see whether that helps.

Lightroom 4 Does not Work with plugins

I installed my Lightroom 4 upgrade yesterday and I like the changes. However, the new program does not work with any plugin including Elements, NIK software and others. Adobe should not have released the full program until they had ensured that all will work.
I have a MAC OS Lion. I went to the NIK homepages and followed their instructions to uninstall all prior versions and download the latest version of their software to install. I followed these directions and nothing happened. So I tried Adobe's own plugin, Elements 9, and that too did not work. Then I tried a few others I have from OnOne and other developers, but nothing works.
Then I called Adobe where a recording told me they are very busy with complaints about Lightroom 4 and hung up. Then I tried to get a tech rep to chat with me, but got the same results as I had gotten with my call.
Why does Adobe sell a product that fails such a basic issue? Why did they not work it out with the Beta edition before selling the progrm? I understand why Beta programs often have trouble, that's why they are Beta, but I do not understand why Adobe would sell a flawed product and then prevent their customers from getting tech help.

Actually, the LR4 beta worked fine with respect to this issue. It wasn't until the full version was released that some people started experiencing the problem of being unable to access the external editors and plugins from LR.

10g JSpell PJC does not work with latest JSpell version

Looks like latest (10g) forms demo - Spell check with JSpell does not work with the latest version of the JSpell software (does not look like this demo been changed from the previous version).
Does anybody has a success running this or have any suggestions how to integrate it together?

Liquid Layout does not work with extreme long pages

Hi there.
I have a layout for iPad with a width of 1024 and variable height.
I now need an alternative layout for iPad HD. So I try to use liquid layout to alternate my layout to 2048 width and height x 2.
The maximum size in InDesign is 15552px. So I managed to get all my SD layouts below 7776px.
to sum things up:
iPad SD: 1024x7776
transform into
iPad HD: 2048x15552
Problem is, in this case the option to scale everything automatically gets completely ignored.
Another layout, which uses only text and no images, boxes or multimedia gets transformed correctly.
Does anybody have a tip for me how I can work around it?

Aaaand I just got it. Specify a new preset for your document-sizes: 2048x15552. Now if you use the page tool just click the new (in my case) "iPad HD" and choose liquid layout: scale.

I am using Automator to find files with the .pages
extension and then copy them to another folder, which
lists the copied Pages files by name but with Zero
KB! The files will not open - error: the index.xml
file is missing.
Any ideas on how to get a Pages file to copy with
Automator?

To answer the title of your message: no, Pages does not work with Automator.
But that's not really what you're asking. You really want to know how to copy Pages documents using Automator.
To help you we need to know what Actions you're using in Automator and the parameters you're using eg the Filter Finder Items action (using a pages file extension) and the Copy Finder Items actions. Pls let us know how you're doing this and we'll try to help.

Why RSS does not work with my OS X 10.8.2? There was no problem before the upgrade to the Mountain Lion.

By clicking on the RSS icon I'm getting a message:
"No RSS reader is installed. Safari can't open the feed because Safari can't display RSS feeds"
In Chrome I get xml file of the RSS site.
Should I buy something what I didn't need with the Snow Leopard?

Power Sim - Does it work with Integrated Planning (IP)

PowerSim currently promotes itself as being able to perform superior simulations on SEM-BPS. With BI7.0, we have the option of using Integrated Planning (IP) or BW-BPS. Following are my questions:
     1. Does PowerSim work with IP?
     2. Does PowerSim work with BW-BPS in addition to SEM-BPS? Assuming yes, what are the differences / challenges (if any) using BW-BPS in a BI7.0 as opposed to going against SEM-BPS?
     3. Does BI7 have any "out of the box" advanced simulation capabilities that are "close" to what PowerSim provides.
     4. Given SAP's recent strategic investments of Outlook Soft / Pilot / Acorn, the assumption is that these will integrate into the BI platform over the next year +. Does anybody know if any of these tools provide similar simulation capabilities to PowerSim and/or what SAP's timing is to integrate / ramp-up?

1) Unlike in previous versions of SEM-BPS. there's no special support for PowerSim in BI-IP. Please check with PowerSim vendor what kind of standard SAP interfaces they support (to read from/write data to BI).
2) Yes, when it comes to PowerSime BW-BPS is no different to SEM-BPS. You cna use BW-BPS just like SEM-BPS (some limitations are the financial planning functions). For more information please see the BI FAQ at http://service.sap.com/bifaq.
3) No.
4) No. PowerSim provides specialized capabilities which are not included in that form in the products listed by you. Please check with PowerSim what capabilities they provide in connection with SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0

I've installed a button in my Firefox tool bar to toggle iFrames on and off through a Firefox add-on called "Toolbar Buttons".
The forum Reply Editor does not work when iFrames are blocked, so I need to toggle them back on when posting, then back off. I imagine that's better than having them on all the time.
