Does entourage 2008 solve all the new 10.6.3 ical syncing issues?
I am keeping a running list of known issues with entourage and ical after the 'upgrade' from 10.4 to 10.6.3 OS.
I have had two duplicated entourage ical calendars, time shift of events and now lastly, when i went to sync at 11pm last night, entourage calendar was wiped completely blank and will not sync.

yesterday i noted the at had a duplicate ical calendar from entourage syncs. i posted this:

i spent all day on this matter backing up calendars, trying to reimport, sync etc. at 10:50 pm last night after taking on the task of eliminating and removing duplicates from my entourage/ical calendars i sync my work and my entourage calendar went blank. and as if this hour, 8 hours later, not data in the entourage calendar.
OS 10.6.3 upgraded the combo patch too.

So I run the 10.6.3 Combo updater and the problem is now gone. The password was added to the keychain correctly and I can access my Google calDav calendars.
So the big question would be why the 10.6.3 update failed?

You can, but I would wait, until you have have been working with Photos for some time and are sure, that everything migrated well. There may be hidden flaws in your library and teething problems with Photos. Don't be in a hurry to abandon iPhoto completely. You may need to go back, until bugs have been fixed. Th Photos Library does not duplicate the photos in your iPhoto Library. the media files are shared and do not need extra space: See: Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries - Apple Support

If you have enough iCloud storage. But Photos will still need space for local thumbnails on all devices.

i just came back from a family vacation and tried to sync my phone to my laptop. I just made the switch to mac. I am have installed all the new PS6 CC and bridge and I am now trying to add some presets to my ACR but when I search for the folder to place them it is not there. From what I researched it says it should be under camera library/application support/adobe/camera raw/settings but I can only get to library/application support/adobe/ and then there are two different camera raw options I have checked both and there are not settings folder. Apple most likely has the same poor taste that Microsoft does when it come to defaults. Microsoft likes to hide things like settings, preset, folders etc from normal users think the dumb or something else. If Apple also hide things you will have to make some system setting changes that will allow Finder to do it job and find it for you.

You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. I recently uploaded OSX 10.6.7 and ever since then, my Boris titler in FCP does not work with all the fonts, notably Avenir. It actually crashes FCP now. It was fine with the previous version. What's up Apple?
I know what your'e going through, Gary. OSX 10.6.7 is an absolute disaster. Since I upgraded, I've had problems in FCP, Logic, Garageband, even issue dealing with peripheral hardware like external monitors.
Before 10.6.7 my system was running fine.
I've brought this up with Apple repeatedly. They smile and shrug. They've been helpful resolving the issues, but none of them has been easy to solve. I have spent days, dealing back and forth with tech support, sending logs, etc., before solutions have been found.
I wish I could give you an answer to your question. My only guess is that Apple has totally dropped the ball on this one. In the future they should provide a disclaimer when they offer an upgrade. Something like: "Caution: all of your software may not function after this upgrade. But go ahead, you'll feel cool that your OS is the latest thing."
As someone who has been with Apple for close to 25 years, I'm disturbed by what appears to be an increasing sloppiness in their work. This is especially disturbing when you depend upon their system to make your living.

ThanksSince En'rage does so many things the conflicting reports probably have to do with whether the program is being used just for mail, just for the calendar, or for both. For what its worth, I'm not happy with the 2011 version's performance in Lion. I've gone back to Mail and began using BusyCal
