i've got a parser for c/c++ programs (codecheck from abraxas) from 1996, i think. but i didn't find anyone for java. does anyone know where from i'm able to download one?

Though we have configured Java in solution manager the stack file that is generated does not contain any java components and so the installation is stuck up. You will probably need to update Solution Manager first with a number of corrections so you can get a correctly generated stack file. Depending on your ST400 version in Solution Manager apply collective corrections from "Note 1461849 - MOpz: Collective corrections 24" or "Note 1452118 - MOpz: Collective Corrections 23". They generally deal with these kind of stack file issues.

A<WSI-29>: It is very difficult to quantify performance aspects of web services
since they depend on so many variables including but not limited to: backend system
processing by stateless session beans and message driven beans, size of XML SOAP
message sent, system hardware (CPU speed, parallel processing, RAM speed) and
system software (JVM type and version of WebLogic server). However, let me point
out that the EJB backend processing of requests both have the best possible scalability
within the EJB2.0 specification (both stateless session and message driven beans
can be pooled) and servlets have a proven scalable track record. Thus it should
be possible to scale your web service deployment to meet demand. The overhead
in processing XML within the servlet can be significant depending on the size
of XML data (either as a parameter or a return type). While WLS6.1 does not have
any features to address this performance concern, WLS7.0 will feature Serializer
and Deserializer classes which can be dedicated to the XML to Java and Java to
XML translation (they can also be automatically be generated from a DTD, XML Schema
or regular JavaBean).
It is true that web services are not the fastest way to process client requests
but BEA is committed to making WebLogic server the fastest possible service provider.

Give a java program more resources...in JVM

Is there anyway to give a java program more resources? For example, is there a method System.getXXXX() which gives this program higher priority and resources in the JVM?
I ask because i have a bean running on ATG Dynamo 5.1 but it runs very slowly and i want it to have more use of resources then other beans.

Try running the application in its own server. Then you give give it the resources it needs.

Cannot run any java Programs

I cannot get any java applications to run whenever I try I get
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jedit40install/jar
for any application that I try to run. I was able to compile a application but not run it. I tried launching it via java -classpath . jeditinstall.jar and i recieved the error again. I am running RedHat 7.3 on a 686 with 512mb ram. Below are my enviroment variables that I have set.

export PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin
export CLASSPATH=.

I'm not exactly sure of the root to your problem but maybe you can try setting the classpath to contain the JAR file that you are running?
Also...I think you should be launching a JAR file by:
java -classpath -jar jeditinstall.jar

Does anyone have any efficient techniques for saving mail on more than one machine and in the cloud (I need offline access). Trying to avoid endless message copying.

I've been in an administrative job at my university, in which I needed to be able to access lots of past email conversations. I ended up saving *everything* religiously, by copying each email or conversation into an "On My Mac" folder on either my home or office machine, flagging it as copied, then unflagging it and moving it to a like folder on the other machine. As a result I'v now got a trillion folders for various aspects of my job, filled with quite a few messages that I probably no longer even need, but they're way too many to go through and delete one by one. Unfortunately, I haven't made much use of the iCloud folders, but I'm so tired of having to essentially manually sync my stored mail in the manner I just described, that I'm thinking of starting to file everything to iCloud folders. The downside of that is that obviously if the internet is down and a given folder wasn't refreshed before it went down, I won't have access to the saved mail.
Moreover, I'm about to step down from the admin post -- within about 6 months a lot of what I saved won't be needed at all, and going forward, I won't need to save nearly the same quantity of messages for later reference. I'd like to come up with some viable "triage" strategies for limiting the mail I do save.
This is really just an open question: Does anyone have any good mail filing and storage techniques that you'd be willing to share? I'm especially interested in criteria you use for what you save and don't save, and where/how you save it.

Well, the one set up on exchange 2k3 is now working fine, although no changes were made on either the iPhone or the exchange side, so that's fun, but it still is throwing errors when connecting to the other 2 exchange accounts. The common elements are that both non-functioning exchange accounts are google apps for business accounts. So is one of the ones that's working, by the way. The settings on both accounts are the same as the one that's working, and both worked fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I have no issue accessing both of these accounts on my ipad which is currently on 8.2.x. If it's not the iphone OS at fault, I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

Give my java program windows service property

hi programmers
how can i let my java program runs automatically when windows starts.
and i'd like to put an option to disable this property.(which is "run as service").
i hope my question is clear .
and i hope to find answers .

I am developing a stand-alone java program. Lately,
whenever I debug or run the program it will shutdown
my computer. At first I thought it was the IDE
(Eclipse) I was using, so I switched to simple text
editor and command line compiles and runs.... it
still happened. Virus-infected files?
So my questions are:
1) If it is my program, what steps can I take to find
out why? (The crash always happens right when I
launch the program). Debug and watch whether it always happens at the same moment. But IMO it's unlikely because it's of your program.
2) Is it a memory issue? How can I find out?Could be in the sense of "defective RAM". Remove one bank. Try again. Set it back in and remove another bank. Try again.
3) Why would my computer crash when running a java
program? When I worked in C++, programs would crash
but not the computer. There was no time when my PC was booted more often than when I was writing C code in M$ VS6.

Does Apple offer any sort of trade-in program?

I think it's silly that they release a new model every year, but I guess that's just the way the industry works. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to buy a new model every year, so I want to know if Apple has any sort of trade-in program where iPod (touch) owners can trade in their old model towards the new model.

Technology moves fast, which means many capable gadgets go from daily use to trash heap fairly quickly within a yearly basis. What was worth months ago becomes an obsolete technology as with Ipod upgrades every fall. I hate to bring bad news, but there is no trade-in program that apple offers to recycle your old gadget for cash. However that doesn't mean that other companies offer that same service for apple Ipods. Let me give you the information you need of those online service trade for old gadgets.

Firefox 24.0 does not update any YouTube page for the download extensions. Video aivalable for download is the 1th opened in the tab and not the video playing.

On YouTube, when more than one video have been played, staying on the same page, videos aivalable for download, by any Firefox Download Extension as Downloader Helper, Flash Video Downloader or 1 Click Video Download, are the format options for the first video opened in the tab, and not format options for the video actually playing.
I have tried resetting Firefox ( Firefox menu : ? \ Troubleshooting Information \ Reset Firefox), and reinstall Videos Downloaders (without Adblock Plus that I normally use), it did not solve the problem.
Temporary Solution :
Refreshing the http://www.youtube.com/... page ( by hitting the round arrow at the right of the adress bar ) allows me to update the download features but it is annoying as it restarts the playback every time I decide to download a video ( so is it having to remember to refresh the page ).
I am surprised it seems no one have experience and solved this problem yet.

What hardware are you on? Flash is always a finicky beast, especially on older hardware. This is not an entirely uncommon problem. Try looking at this [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems|support article]] and see if that helps.

Does it give any java parser for java programming guidelines?
