Does Pages create newsletters to be emailed?

Hello,
I'm just learning pages, and see that they have some nice newsletter templates. I would like to create a newsletter that I can e-mail to a list.
Can pages do this? If so, do I send it in html format, or open it to see the html? I'm not sure how to do this, or if it can even be done.

The easiest way - well, without spending any extra money - to create layout-heavy emails is this:
1. Create the email in a web page app (iWeb, Rapidweaver or whatever). Keep it simple though as animations probably won't work in other people's email clients and videos etc. will make it a huge download.
2. Publish the page a file on your desktop.
3. Use Safari to open the index.html file
4. In the File menu in Safari, choose 'Mail Contents of this page', or press cmd-i
5. Safari slaps the webpage into an otherwise blank email. Voila.

In MS Outlook 2010 Add in Create pdf- does not create pdf of draft emails- this maybe the case, but just wanted to make sure this is normal for the program- though I guess one can print as an Adobe pdf but it does not maintain the hyperlinks of email addresses etc. the functionality is compromised in a print vs create a pdf.

Here's a workaround by the team:
Right click on the message from Explorer list view or folder view and chose the option to convert to PDF.

Pages can create PDF files. To do it, create a document and, when you have finished it, choose the File menu (on the menu bar) > Export > PDF, so you will be able to read this document with any other PDF software.
However, Pages can't read PDF files. To read PDF files, Mac OS X comes with Preview, so you don't need to get Adobe Reader to use PDF files on your Mac

I think I understand "found" and "not found" and "read into", but what does "Pages created in the cache" mean?
What can we conclude from the first one having 149M pages not found in cache, and 884K pages created,
while the second one has 181M pages not found in cache, but only 2K pages created??

Can we determine how many unique pages are involved? How many of those "Pages read into the cache" are the same pages being read multiple times because they were flushed out in between? As compared to pages read into the cache, and then only used once?

If you're having problems creating an ePrintCenter account and you already have a Snapfish account, try the following steps:
-On the ePrintCenter login page, there is the blue Snapfish icon. This brings up a Snapfish login form.
-If you do not remember your Snapfish password, go to Snapfish.com and use the snapfish “forgot your password?” tool.
-Once you login in to ePrintCenter using your Snapfish login, you will now have an “HP Web Services” type account, you can use the normal login form without hitting the Snapfish button

On February 1st, 2012 ePrintCenter stopped supporting account sign in through Facebook. If you previously signed into ePrintCenter with a Facebook account, you will no longer be able to do so, and you will need to create a new account to access ePrintCenter. The steps for account creation vary depending on if you have a printer added to your account.
If you do not have a printer added to your account:
Visit https://h30495.www3.hp.com/user_create and create a new HP ePrintCenter account.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

The questions about time was not only because of thinking about the Time Machine, but also possible impact on recognizing which messages remaining on a POP server (doesn't apply to IMAP) have been already downloaded. In the Mail folder, at its root level, in Mail 3.x there is a file named MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3 that should prevent duplicate downloading -- some servers may not communicate the best with respect to that, and the universal index must certainly be involved in updating that index file. If it corrupts, it can inhibit proper downloading. However, setting the account up in a New User Account and having the same problem does not point that way, unless your POP3 server is very different from most.
That universal index is also typically involved when messages are meant to be moved from the Inbox to another mailbox -- in Mail 3.x the message does not move, but rather is copied, and then erased from the origin mailbox. That requires updating the Envelope Index to keep track of where the message is, and should keep track of where it is supposed to have been removed after the "Move".

Why does my InDesign CS6-created interactive pdf w/ email submit button no longer submit from Reader

Last spring I created a 6 page interactive pdf form to email my clients. At the end of the form, I designed Print and Submit buttons. I tested it in Reader and both buttons worked. However, now after revising some of the fields in the same form, the Submit button isn't working in Reader. A message pops up stating that only a data file will be sent, rather than the form. After clicking OK on that (although I do want entire form to be returned via Submit), an error pop-up states "This operation is not permitted."
What do I need to do to correct this problem so that clients can receive this form via email attachment, open in Reader and then return completed form via email submission? Do I need to open the pdf in Acrobat after converting from InDesign, and edit some feature there? Again, it is essential that my clients can open it in Reader. I have Googled this question but so far not found help.

Seems that the hyperlink you created on the button to move to the next PDF is not working once it gets moved to a different computer via email, this happens when there is a change in the file path. It works fine when its on our Mac Computer as the path is fixed because the PDF was created on the same computer, however the path gets changed once it is mailed to a different computer.
I would recommend you check the path of the hyperlinks & make sure they are fixed.
Suppose the path set in the hyperlink is C:\Users\NewFolder\PDF\file1.pdf , then the path of the file on the computer to which you have mailed it should be arrange in same manner so that the hyperlink works.
If its possible for you to share the PDF file then please do, so we can have a closer look & try to resolve your issue.

What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand? I assume those black lines are around photos or objects that have had a frame or drop shadow added to it, right? If so that's a known issue.
There's a workaround for that in this tutorial: #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single Image File. That should get rid of those black lines/boxes.

The most primitive way is to generate a .HTML file.
Type your HTML codes (Using string constant) and save it using "Write Chars To File.vi" using a filename with extension .html

Well, just to confirm the process, open Mail and click on the word "Mailbox" up at the top pf the screen in the menu bar. Then click on "New Mailbox" in the list. In the window that opens, enter the name you want for this new mailbox. The new Mailbox will be located over in the left hand column under the heading there, "On My Mac". If you cannot see the mailbox there, then it is "hidden" under "On My Mac". You will need to hover your mouse cursor over the phrase "On My Mac" and just to the right the word "Show" will faintly appear. Click on "Show" and your Mailboxes under "On My Mac" will appear.

Creating a form to email

HI guys! I thought I would try to take another look at this again. I don't know PHP and am learning it but on my website, I created a great contact form but am now in the process of having it authenticated. I am having issues with that. The code that I used to just call the information seems to work fine. When a user clicks the submit, it takes them to the thank you page, but I get no email from it because I need to have the authentication.
I contacted my server and I just became more confused if anything. They gave me a link to verify everything but I don't know how to integrate that into my code. I am hoping somebody here could help me with this. I will post my code that I am using. I did mask out personal information. My password, my email, my website. I put in fake ones but they are correct.
This first part is from their website. If I add this in with the required information it calls for, I end up getting an email that says test email via php from sender. I get no email from my actual form.

Does Lightroom create an extra JPG file?

I'm new to Lightroom. When I import images from my camera and exit Lightroom, I notice that every JPG has been exactly duplicated with the addition of a _2 as a suffix. The DNG files are not duplicated. I'm quite certain my camera is not doing this, as it hasn't done this before. This creates an extra cleanup task as I must delete all these extras. What gives?

Since I'm new to LR, I did an Import. One other person mentioned that maybe I imported into the same folder, thus creating dups. I will watch carefully next time. I'm willing to give LR a chance as I know many people swear by it. I guess if someone has tens of thousands if images, fast keyword searches can be helpful, but I "catalog" my images by discrete folders, so I know where everything is. That might not be the case when I get many more images.

What is your workflow for importing images? Do you use something other than LR to copy images from a memery card to the HD, and then import into LR? What option (at the top of the import window are you using for import (Add, Copy, Move, etc.)?

Does your company have a domain name and website? If it does you should be able to create an email address using the domain name. For instance, if you company's website is ABC.com you can have multiple email addresses like "[email protected]". Check with the hosting service that is hosting your business website.
