I'm using Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7 (x64) with a debug Flash Player (version 11.3.300.271 - I'm using the ActiveX plugin for IE). Using Flex SDK 4.5.1.21328A I compiled the ActionScript code
package MySample {
import flash.display.Sprite;
public class MyHook extends Sprite {
public function MyHook(): void {
super();
Into a `.swf` file by running the command
mxmlc.exe -compiler.source-path=. -output=MyHook.swf -tools-locale=en -headless-server=true -static-link-runtime-shared-libraries -compiler.debug -- Sample\MyHook.as
I then preload this by creating an mm.cfg file and adding an PreloadSwf entry referencing MyHook.swf; running all this in Flash Player 11.3.300.271 works fine; I can point my IE to some web page containing flash applets and my own SWF file is preloaded just nicely.
However, the most recent Flash Player release on Windows (11.4.402.265) breaks this. After updating the player, any flash applet triggers error message boxes from Flash player saying "Verify Error #1014: Couldn't find spark.components.Application". Clicking the error away opens the same message box, but with a few different type names.
The workaround I found was to remove the -compiler.debug switch from the mxmlc command line; doing so make things work with Flash Player 11.4 but alas trace() doesn't work anymore.
Does anybody know how PreloadSWF can be used to preload debug SWF files into Flash Player 11.4?Ah, thanks for making me aware of that forum - I didn't know about it. I now reposted the question at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1068071 - this thread can be closed as far as I'm concerned. Should I mark your answer as being the resolution to my question or the like?

Help required in compiling Java Code.
I have java1.6 installed on my PC but I want to compile my code in such a way that
it will run on PCs with lower versions of java installed.
I am not using any feature specific to java1.6 in my program.
I am using Netbeans IDE 6.1
Thanks in advance.calypso wrote:
Im not 100% sure of this but I would of thought a program will compile on any version of java as long as you dont use classes that are exclusive to higher version of java
for example i would think if you comiled the helloworld tutorial on v.1.6 it will run on computers with lower versions.
However a program which uses the scanner class (i think exclusive to 1.6 or 1.5 not sure though) will not run on say 1.2
CalypsoIve tested to run an complied class(version 1.6) on an computer with jre 1.5 installed(before), and it doesnt work. Dont remember precisly the error but it didnt run atleast. -

i have the source code for a program on my mac and i dont really know how to compile it.
it has a makefile and all of the sources but i dont really know how to compile it
the source code is at this website
http://bcrypt.sourceforge.net/
how do i compile the code on os x
?Hi--
First off, you have to have the developer tools installed. You can download the latest version at Apple's Developer web site:
http://developer.apple.com/products/online.html
Or, there will be an appropriate version for your OS located on the DVD or CD that contains your OS installation.
Since your code has a makefile, you simply need to open the Terminal application and change into the directory with your source code, and type make at the prompt. If you're not familiar with the Unix command line, I'd suggest any one of dozens of tutorials on how to maneuver around your computer in the Terminal. This is only one example:

Debug code 70 , mpower z87
Hi,
yesterday a friend of mine bought the mpower z87 mobo and
everything was fine until today.
The debug leds show the code 70 and the video output doesn't come out.
I'm really desperate and sad for him, I dont know what to do.
The configuration is:
msi mpower z87
i5 4670k
corsair cx750
samsung evo 840
msi gtx 770 lightningthanks for the reply.. but I knew that the 70 code means Late South Bridge Inizialization
but I didn't know what does it mean .
Anyway we tried with only 1 RAM plugged and the debug code sometimes is A2 (Ide detected) sometimes A0 or A3.
With 2 RAMs the code is 99 (Super IO Inizialization).
We also tried to unplug the video card and the hdd and do the CMOS, with no results .
little update:
the computer now turns on but after 3 mins turns itself off... -
MSI Z87 G45 Gaming Debug codes
Is there a list of the debug codes for MSI LG1150 motherboards anywhere? For some reason the website and the manual dont seem to have them.
the board uses a AMI based BIOS so use this >>AMI Post Codes PDF<< as they are the Checkpoint codes it uses!!!!
the 0x before the code is nothing but the eg: 0xA2 is error code is error code a2/A2 and so on!!!! -
Does leaving asserts in your code when you compile your code get included
I was wondering if I wrote a program and compiled it with support for asserts, will leaving the asserts in slow anything down or even get included in the compiled code? I ask because I've heard some programs run slower in beta since the debug code is left in.
If you're only using them for debugging, then you
should take them before release. Just be sure totest
again afterwards, since people have been known to
write code dependent on the debugging code.I disagree entirely. Assertions can (and should be)
left in production code. It's in the production
jvm where you configure if assertions are
enabled or not.You're right, I didn't realize that you could turn them on and off when it's run. I was thinking too much of c++ asserts. I still say it's a good idea to test with and without them though. Mainly because more testing is always good. :) -
BRAND NEW MSI x99s Gaming 7 Won't Boot, Debug Code 00
Just completed my build and my pc won't boot. Everything plugged directly into the psu is working but fans plugged into mother board don't spin and getting debug code 00 nothing displayed on screen.
Hmm ok.
What you could do is: try each stick on its own, in every single DIMM slot. Make note which slots/sticks work or dont work. Then add to 1 (known to work) RAM stick and try moving this single one around all DIMMs again. Do the same until you get a failure or if works fine.
Which slots did you use by the way?
Quote from: robbie.bowden on 18-May-15, 04:23:08
I then added the 4th one back in and now it boots. Any ideas why just switching those 2 positions would change anything??
Maybe for the first time it didnt go all the way down? -
MSI x99 Gaming 7 Debug code 04
hi this day my computer dont start only black screen , i see mobo debug code 04
msi x99 gaming 7 service manuel say 04 code = Power on South Bridge Initialization
i use 2. bios swich computer working no problem
now i go RMA?
edit: me try bios clear button nothing always full black screen and debug code 04 , i cant remove bios battery 2 graphic card + water cooling :/If you familiar with flashing bios, you can try use the second bios to recover the first one.
Manuel has some guide...
BIOS recovery with AFUDOS command
When BIOS updating fails or causes the computer non-bootable, you can recover the
failed BIOS by the steps below.
Preparation:
1. Prepare a bootable USB flash drive.
2. Download the latest BIOS file from the MSI official website at www.msi.com, and
then decompress the file.
3. Copy the AFUDE238.exe and the BIOS file to the bootable USB flash drive
BIOS recovery steps:
1. Power off the computer.
2. Set the Multi-BIOS switch to the functional BIOS ROM.
3. Insert the bootable USB flash drive you have made to the USB port.
4. Boot the computer into the bootable USB flash drive.
5. Set the Multi-BIOS switch to the failed BIOS ROM.
6. Execute the below command to flash the BIOS:
For example: AFUDE238 EXXXXIMS.XXX
7. Restart the computer after the BIOS flashing is complete.
Important
Do not use the Multi-BIOS switch when system is booting up. -
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) on compiled Java code
I'm confronted with the following error of this code.
http://db-www.naist.jp/~makoto-y/tmp/Int2LongHash.java
The exception appears only when the system gets high-load.
Is there work-arounds?
I've tried also with jdk1.5.0_06, but the same error occurred.
Converting the inner class to a top-level class has no effects.

790FX-GD70 not POSTing no debug code all LEDs on
Hi
I have had my 790FX-GD70 for almost the past 2 years and it has given me no real problems. But yesterday whilst playing Fallen Earth, my computer froze so I gave it a restart and it froze during windows start up. At this point I opened my case and watched the debug display and this time it froze during post, can't remember the debug code it froze on. I tried restarting a few more time and it would freezes at different points during post. At this point I remove it from its case and start barebones testing it. If I left it for a time I could get into the bios and go to the hardware monitoring page and look a the tempter of the CPU for it froze. There it reported that the tempter was 34C. Stopped testing it last night and when I turned it one this morning it would not even start to post. When I turn it on all the LEDs on the board turn on even the overclocking LED and the overclocking switch also turns and to turn off the system I have to do a hard switch off and UPS.
I have tried it with a different UPS with no effect, tried a different graphics card with no effect. Also tried with different RAM and no RAM no effect.
Computer secs:
MB: MSi 790FX-GD70
CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 Black Edition
UPS: Antec TRUEPOWER Quattro 850 watt
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4Gig DDR3 can not remember the speed.
GPU: MSI AMD Radeon R6950 twin Frozr 2
CPU Heat Sink: Cooler Mater Hyper N520
Any help would be great.Quote from: Svet on 06-May-12, 02:30:14
try with another video card then
Also done that to no effect, currently I don't have a spare CPU that will work on my motherboard. I was hoping that some one has had this problem before because I have never seen my computer start up with all the LEDs on as it starts up. Also the hard drive LED is on constantly even when there is no hard drive plug in. -
Error while running compiled java code
Hi
I have an evaluation license of the JDeveloper2.0 installed on my WindowsNT 4.0 workstation.
I seem to have a problem running my compiled jave code. After compiling the source code(.java file) when I try to run the same I get a message saying
"<FileName> not found in outpath classpath or sourcepath ".
What does this mean and how can I rectify it?
Regards
Sree
nullYour classpath tells Java run time where to look for the class files it needs. In JDeveloper the class path is set in your project properties. Select Project->Properties and check that the source and output paths correspond to your myprojects and myclasses directories.

return 0; /* exception occurred */
for (i=0; i<10; i++) {
sum += carr;

when I compile this code I get the following error:
