Dot between email name cause me problem in ipad2

Hi, I have a problem with accessing my email from IPad2. That's because my email name has a dot (.) between them ex: [email protected] When I tried to input that email in ipad2, it won't recognize the email. Is there any solutions?

Roger, thank you. I wish I had sent out this question a month ago, when I committed the folly of creating another apple id with my alternate email address. Since then, I had realized that I didn't seem to need it, hence today's post.
So now what do I do? Is there anyway to delete that unecessary apple id?
And it is even worse than that...the secondary address listed currently in our apple id is a mobile me one that my husband created, but never uses, never checks, and probably doesn't even remember the password for.

Any email folder that isn't downloaded by thunderbird causes the entire program to lag extremely bad. I can't read emails, access emails or do anything till downloading is done. Is there anything I can do to help the program perform better?

Reg Special Characters in The Names causing the problems EX: Bu00E1rbara u00E1u00EDu00F1u00E9

In the Infotype 0002 I am able to observe the Special characters in the First Name & Last Name.
When I run standard SAP report i.e. Birthday list and trying to save the output to the *clipboard option and paste it to the notepad*, I observed that last some characters were missed out depends on the special characters available in the First Name Last Name.
Assume if there are 5 special characters avialble in the Names, then 5 characters will be missed out in the output.
Please help on this issue.

Too many email addresses causing authorization problems. How do I have excessive email addresses deleted?

I need to ask Adobe to delete the excessive addresses but don't know where to go with this. So far all my contacts ended up in dead end streets!

Yes, I just get that message. I don't see how I could investigate this problem.
I didn't mention that this happened when I was consolidating my library, not copying files to another computer.
In other words, I'm using a "normal" itunes procedure, itunes won't complete it, and won't tell me exactly why or how to figure out how to fix it...
Is there at least some easy way to tell which files were successfully copied to my itunes music folder so I can work on moving the uncopied files?

I have been to the local Genius bar and through trial and error we have determined that Mail is working ok but somehow the account is causing the problem. I have used this account for years. Any ideas what is causing this?

No idea why, but one thing you may try if you have the time, is create a new user, and set up the problem mail account in the new user space. See if it causes your MBP to hang as well. That will tell you if it is something wrong with your main User, or something wrong with MBP.
Assuming this works, I'd nuke the problem account in your main user space, re-start, and reinititate the account and see if that helps.
Depening on how many email accounts you have setup, it may be necessary to nuke the whole Mail folder in your User/Library.... Hard way to get it to work, but just my idea.

You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

Have you actually compared what you sent (in your Sent Mail Folder) with what is in the reply?
Note that Auto Correction can often change what you think that you are typing.
Are you sure that the return message has your original message intact and not edited by the recipient?
Bottom line: if the recipient does a simple reply to your message with the original message attached the system is not going to edit your message.

A week ago, I had a problem with my laptop in which the explorer.exe was restarting itself, when I was trying to fix it, I ran the Sfc/scannow, and it turns out, there were some files broken, then, following the instructions here of how to replace the files
manually, I get to the Command prompt, and used the command "takeown", but when continued to the "icacls" command, it shows the message:
"No mapping between account names and security IDs was done. Successfully processed 0 files; Failed processing 1 files."
I didn't understand what was that, and in the page didn't said anything about that message, I thought that the explorer.exe problem also corrupted this solution, in the end, turns out, it was a third party program which was incorrectly un-installed, I fixed
and forget about the other problem, until today when I was trying to open Word, when it turns out, that Office was "installing", something that doesn't make sense as I already had it installed and worked on it in the past. But when it's close to
the finish, it shows, Error 1920, and that I don't have the requeriment grants, later looking on the internet, there was this "solution" (since I couldn't test it, I don't know if it works) saying that I have to user the command "icacls",
but any time that I try, it says "No mapping between accounts..." therefore, I couldn't solve it that way.
I don't know what exactly to do, since I don't understand exactly what I broke, hope you can help me, and thanks in advance.

According to your description, the current problem is your Office program.
If I am right, there is no any other problem on your system. It narrows down to the Microsoft Office program issue.
Please run with safe mode to troubleshoot:
1.Click WIN+R;
2.Type Winword.exe /safe;
3.Press Enter.
If the issue would be gone in safe mode, it indicates the issue is caused by add-ons, please disable the add-ons one by one to clarify which one is culprit.
If the issue still persists, go Office forum for further help:

Multiple times spellckecking my emails has caused my entire computer to freeze.

Hi, Many times I have clicked "check word" in spell check and had my iMac freeze. The " beachball" rolls and no amount or combination of keyboard or other cancel clicks will un-freeze the system! Un plugging the computer is the only way of getting out of the screen-Help! I'm afraid to spell check my emails!

i had a similar problem recently. what happened to me was that itunes was doing some kinda "reeding" of music files of some sort [i honestly dont remember the exact name of the action], but whenever it got to a certain song, it would do the same thing you are describing which is crash the computer or freeze it up. i decided to actually FIND the file that was causing the problem and when i got rig of the file and started itunes [this after having to turn itunes on and watch my computer freeze up again to acquire the song name] it worked perfectly.
it seems to me that [since the file itself was a rip of a rip] it might have been corrupted some how and so itunes didnt know what to do with it. i looked at the file and an mp3 file that should be in the range of 2-5mb was actually in the range of 1-200kb which leads me to believe that the file was corrupted.
i dont know if that will help, but i hope you get your problem resolved...

Cannot send Mail from Search shortcut "email [name of contact]" with exchange account

i have a Q10 with an exchange Account configured. Mail works fine from the hub but when i use the search feature of the q10 by typing "email [name of contact]" the compser opens but i cannot send. the account field is empty and when i press send the button gets greyed out. the email is not sent.
the problem seems to be that the default-account setting is not recognised when you use the search-shortcut-feature of the q10. when i compose a mail from the hub the account-field is filled right.
same problem has a friend of mine from another company. he also uses a different excahnge server/account.
os-version: 10.1.0.238
language: german
exchange version: 2010

Thanks to Fruhulda and Peter for their comments regarding the refusal of Pages to let me make 3D charts.
In answer to the questions put to me in this regard :
1. Pages version : Pages '09 v.4.1 (923)
2. Mac O/S :          v.10.6.8
3. 3D chart :          Can't find a 'name', but upright bars with rounded corners ???
4. Moved apps :    Not that I'm aware of! All should be as installed off the disc.
5. A note :              I have been able to create these in the past - related to a SW update?
                      and ... can create these charts perfectly in Keynote (go figure).

Please do not post the entire messages log as it takes up unnecessarily a lot of space. It seems that there is a corrupt/nonfunctional file called
[email protected]nt.plist
Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above. Empty the trash and restart.
