Doubt in displaying the wordformate in "lowercase"

whenever i entered the number in selection screen then that is converting like word formate but that is in CAPS only it is writing ,how we can convert that word formate to lower case.plz let me know,

Displaying the value of an variable on the stage

I have managed to display the values contained in string variables on stage, and I am happy with that, however when I wish to display the value of an int and convert it to a string as one is supposed to do the output to the stage just calls it [class int] and does not give its value. any suggestions?
My rogram contains a stage at frame 1 which displays a word. The user must input a word. Frame 30 then displays the word which was displayed and the word input by the user. That all works fine. But the value of the variable NumberRight, which has been assigned to that variable will only display as [class int] without showing its value. (even though I have converet it to a string using the .to string function you see below).
My code is as follows;
trace( "The number correct was" + NumberRight); //This works fine in the output window and shows the value of the variable as NumberRight [class int]1 (showing the value to be 1)
outputText.appendText("in/"+textAtIN); //this works fine displaying the word presented and word input by user as in/in

Yes I have managed to overcome that problem it was some code on the first frame, please excuse, however, now, is there any way to remove the [class int] bit from the displays, I wish to have the results as a clear copy of the results so that they can be printed out, without [class int] all over the place?

Hi Ned thanks for that. Yes I had accidently created blank spaces in the String() argument. (wanted to check if there was a subsequent difference in display and forgot to return them to normal ...Sorted )
Your next suggestion has eliminated the [class int] but I get a value now of 0.
My code on the first frame for a correct response for example is;

many years ago I wrote this same program in Authorware using similar code. I am trying to re write it in FlashCS5 using ActionScript 3 and It take days to solve small problems. I notice also that If for example the user of the program makes an error and I record the error as NumberRight =NumberRight -1 the program records it as Total Correct = NaN .
I gave up on this a few months back but I am trying again. I think there must be a better way to do this. Variables do not seem to add up or subtract for me at present. no doubt its me thats got it wrong.

Displaying the name of a minimum value in crosstab

Hi,
we have a crosstab with [Job Number] in the left column, [Quantitiy Break] as the column headers and (min[bid value]) as the measure.
We want to display the name of the [vendor] who gave the minimum bid alongside the measure in the crosstab.
we have tried allsorts of formula along the lines of:
=[Vendor] Where ([Bid Value Row]=(Min([Bid Value Row])))
=[Vendor] Where ([Bid Value Row]=(Min([Bid Value Row] ForEach ([Job Number]))))
=[Vendor] Where ([Bid Value Row]=(Min([Bid Value Row] ForEach ([Job Number];[Quantity Break]))))
etc
can anyone help?

You could try the method I use to pull this back from the database in one go...
Create an object
start with bidvalue (aggregated on the right level, formatted as string,
make sure you use leading zeroes and room enough for the highest possible value)
and concatenate the vendor after that.
Now use right(min(new object);lenght(new object)-length bidvalue string)
(might have tweak a bit to get the exact vendor part of the string, this is from the top of my head,
but no doubt you'll get it to work)
This will find the combination with the minimum bidvalue, but only return the vendor part.

I have two doubts and are as follows....
1)Created a table name
create table documents(id number,doc blob);
I created a form based on the above table. I have two text boxes on the form, one is to enter the id and the other one is upload the document. The default button are insert,query,update,reset ....
I inserted a word document into the table with id = 1. when i query the table with the id=1. the word document is not displayed whereas when i insert a .bmp file i am able to see the image when i query.
How can i display the word document when i query the table. Please give me suggestion to do it.
what is the method to do it...If at all if the document(blob) is a HTMl document..How can i display...
2) I have to create a search application...
A text Box: To enter a word
Serch Button: On click, it should search the documents in the documents Table(as mentioned above)
And should display the list of documents that matches the criteria.....On click of a result item(link) the doc or html should be displayed....

TestStand does not have any hooks to allow a test system developer to override the internal searching for a file on disk. The only simple option that I see is to to query the database and download the latest sequences ahead of time. This is similar to a Source Code Control mechanism. Keep in mind that once an execution loads a sequence file, the file is typically not released until the last execution completes so you cannot load an updated copy of the sequence file while executing, especially the client sequence file.

    I filled the value in the table and displayed in the view,In that view i have one button"TOPDF".
    My requirement is,if i click that button,i want to display the table in the PDF output.
    For the above requirement,i created another view with interactive form,In that view i created one "pdf" Node and "soure" as a attribute of Type-xstring.Then i binded the soure attribute withe "pdfdatasoure" of my interactive form view.
    Now my doubt is how and where can i pass the table values to pdf output.
    can any body cleare my doubt with some sample code.

Hello Ravi,
Best would be to bind the dataSource of the InteractiveForm ui element to the parent node containing the table's data. Then specify a name of a template to be created in the templateSource and hit <enter>. Some popups later, the system will have created a template from the structure of the context. All you need to do now is to drag&drop the data structure inside the template designer to the template itself. This will result in a table. Save, activate and return the Web Dynpro view. Don't forget to unbind the pdfSource and enjoy.

Re: my notebook doesn't display the red color

I think I have the same or a similar problem. I have a AMD A4-6210APU with radeon r3 graphics 1.8 ghz running 64 bit windows 8.1.
Since updating the graphics driver last week I have noticed the colour red seems more pink or purple. This is particularly notable as a lot of my buttons and icons contain scartlet as the principle colour. I only purchased the laptop in August so I doubt this is due to a deteriation of the hardware and therefore seems to be an issue with either the display driver or the display settings.
I have attempted to rectify the problem by resetting the display settings to default.
This partidular model does not appear to have any contrast settings built into the controls, therefore I have no way to adjust the colours manually.

Do the following steps:
1.) After creating a component, under it you will see Message Pools. Double click and open it.
2).Click "Add Message" and add a new message. (Give a message key, type of message (either warning, error etc ) and message text).
3). Save the metadata.
4). Raise this message where all you want by using following code(For example, on click of a button) :
      IWDMessageManager msgnr = wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getMessageManager();
      msgnr.reportMessage(IMessage<component name>.<message>,null,true);
For example, I have a component name TestAppComp and under message pool I have message called message1, then use lik this:
        IWDMessageManager msgnr = wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getMessageManager();
        msgnr.reportMessage(IMessageTestAppComp.MESSAGE1,null,true);

Display the panel container when user select the specific tab in a tab set

Hi SAP Experts,
I've faced some problems and i would like to seek some help from the experts.
Basically, my requirement is to display the component "panel container" which contains some data whenever a user select e.g. Tab "A" of my component Tab set. Similarly, it hides again when the user select Tab "B" and another panel container appear for it.
I am not sure if this is achievable in Xcelsius. Experts, please advise me.

Displaying the page footer at the bottom most part of the page

I am using page footer region inside the jspx page under </af:panelBorder> tag , it is showing my region where the last TAG ends but i want to show the region at the bottom most of my page i.e. i need some vertical white spaces so that the region should shift at the bottom most of the page .
I am using the footer region in every jspx page , so i have to make changes in the region only so that it can be shown at the bottom most of the browser

Problem while displaying the data when double clicked on JTable element

Hi All,
i have one List box( JList ) and one table (JTable). Both JTable and JList are positioned on the same Frame. I am able to drag the elements from JList to JTable and also i have added the mouse click action on both List box and JTable.
if i double click on JList element, that will popup one dialog box.
if i double click on JTable cell element that was dragged from JList, that will popup same dialog box which was opened earlier for JList action.
But my problem here is:
Suppose if i drag the four elements one by one from JList to JTable and (after four elements dragged) double clicked the first element which was dragged first that displayed the popup dialog box structure correctly but the data displayed in that was not correct. It is showing the data of recent dragged element( i.e, fourth element).
But if i double click on JList element that is showing the correct data according to the double clicked element.
What might be the problem here, why it was not displaying the correct data when double clicked on JTable element.
Please help me here.

I doubt it is related to your problem but:
int row=table.rowAtPoint(new Point(evt.getX(), evt.getY()));Why are you creating a new Point? Just use evt.getPoint().
Object obj=table.getModel().getValueAt(row, col);Don't get the data through the model method, get the data through the table method:
Object obj = table.getValueAt(...)
This way it will work even if the table happens to be sorted.
Instead of creating a AssigningResourcesUI object, just disply the value retrieved from the model. That way you know whether the problem is with the mouse event code or your UI class. Like Walter suggested above I"m guess the problem is with your UI class.

Not sure why it is coming like that. Is the field length big enough?
I guess, you could try....
translate REGUD-SWNES using '* '.
condense REGUD-SWNES no-gaps.
But again, I have no clue as to why you are seeing this.

View the .rtf file not display the data in BI Publisher Enterprise.
Step 1, I created Answer-request, create .rtf file with Word and add the request name, Add bar chart and table, preview PDF is working fine with data, Upload this template to Answers, View Template from Answer is working fine with data.
Step 2, Answers – More Products > BI Publisher > My Folders > Create a new report > Edit > Data Model > New > Type: SQL Query > Data Source: Oracle BI EE > Query Builder > from SupplierSales assign Customer, Periods, Sales Facts (select Region, state, Year, Units Shipped) > Results > Save > Save
Click Layouts > New > enter Name ….. > Click Layouts > borrows .rtf file in Manage T file > Upload > Save > Click View
It is showing only the .rtf file without data. Why there is no data?
Please guide me to solve this issue.

When I drag and drop an icon from the address bar to the desktop is does creat the shortcut but will not display the website icon, only the firefox icon, how can I display website icons?

When I drag and drop a website icon from the Forefox address bar to the desk top, the short cut is created but the icon that appears is the firefox Icon. I want to disply the icon from the website that the short cut refers to. I have checked all I can think of in my computer to no avail.

You have to assign the favicon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click the shortcut: Properties) after you have dragged the link to the desktop.
You can usually find the favicon in Tools >Page Info > Media and save the icon there.
Otherwise use the main domain of the website and add favicon.ico (e.g. mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder.
