Doubts in STEP FORM

HI All.
I am doing FORM steps in my scenario, I took reference from SDN, link as follows.

I have to create a WF container as CRM_ORDERADM_I as per documents but I donu2019t know about data type of the element. Which one I have choose Object type, ABAP Dict Reference or ABAP Dict data type?. And which field or table need to take reference. please let me know and help me to create step FORM.

1. First Create a structure with fields that you want to include in the form in SE11.
2. Use this structure name in the workflow conatiner by selecting the ABAP Dict data type.
One most important thing that you have to make note with the form stesp is that , at any point of time it can show only one entire row that is stored in the structure.
I hope the one which you hvae mentioned is a Table in SE11. In that case you can directly select ABAP Dict data type and mentione the table name which is already defined in the SE11.

Can I edit these projects and add my own Java Functionality in these. And also the data which I fill using these project where is it stored. You can make the standard settings and modify the XML forms builder in line with your requirements in the options. You can set the standard paths for your project on the Paths tab page.

Hi,
Try to use page protection in the Folder.
Create a Folder in the Main Area of the table and check the Page Protection Option. Include all your Line types (Row types) in this folder.
It will avoid page break and display the records in a set.

Doubt regarding Adobe forms used for PCR

Hey all,
I have a doubt regarding Adobe forms used for PCR.If i goto tc
SFP->form name (ISR_FORM_SPPM)->Layout->XML SOURCE-->
<base><server name><port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/</base>
But in tc SICF,i do not have anything beyond FP.It goes like this : sicf-> default_host->sap->bc->fp .
Could this be the possible cause of error why i am not able to view the forms in PDF format?
Can anyone , who has doen this before, please help me out with this issue?

Are you getting an error when you are trying to access the PDF form ?
Is ADS installed and configured properly ? Also let me know the operating system you are using, it's version, J2EE and Portal version.

my requirement is to modify this lets take the form shuld appear with only one tab "Form Fields". how can i do ,
if i want to add my own screen instead of Form , how can i do.

Hi,
If you don't want to use the Activity Form, firstable you should create a subtype of the standard BOR you're using and create the dialog method that will display your screen i.e. using call transaction sentence. Then, assign this method to a dialog task and create an activity in wf builder using this new task you created.

Doubt in Interactive form

Hi,
I have created interactive adobe form in webdynpro for ABAP. When i execute the application it is showing PDF in browser. But i could not able to input any value in it. For example, i want to input the name and when we click on submit it should save in customized table.
I have one more doubt, what i need to code in Submit button.
After excuting the application it is showing only HAND TOOL in PDF. I could not able to enter anything in the input field.

i guess one possible reason can be...
THAT MAYBE UR CREDENTIAL FILE HAS EXPIRED.
go to the SAP's j2ee engine, and check the expiry date of the credential file...
if it is expired, you know whats wrong...
NOW IF IT IS THE CREDENTIALS THAT HAVE EXPIRED
and u need this urgently then just change the date of the server and ur machine to a date previous to the expiry date
BUT it would be better if you ask your administrator and get the proper liscensed versions of the ceredentials etc installed to ensure that everything works smoothly.

Step number indicator bar for a multi-step form

I have a form with 3 steps. I have created each step in a separate tab, and there is a 4th tab which gives summary of all the data from the first 3 steps. I want to create something like a progress bar which will be placed on each page and indicate the step no. that the user is on. All the other steps will be faded, and only the current one will be highlighted.

I've seen some discussions on this forum in the past about a feature like this and also one solution which I can't find. Perhaps you could get creative with the breadcrumb feature if you don't find a solution similar to what you're trying to arrive at.
You could also create a graphic for each 'step' and display that in the HTML header in each page.

Help needed in step-by-step form - Please

For the past month I have been editing in 16:9. My new project needs to be in 4:3. Can someone give me a step-by-step way to get FCE4 to revert by to 4:3. I have gone to easy set-up and changed to DV and still any sequence sets up in 16:9.

OK. This is the reverse of the problem someone else was having.
Go to easy setup and change the setting to DV PAL or NTSC. I don't know which you're working in; you didn't say where you are. I'm assuming you're working in standard definition and not in HD.
Once you've changed the easy setup make a new sequence. Copy the contents of the 16:9 sequence and paste them into the new 4:3 sequence. They will look distorted. Select all the images and use Edit>Remove Attributes. Make sure you remove the distort value. If you did some animations that involve this they will most likely have to be redone.

Tha ABAP stack consists of the Integration Server which in turn contains your Integration Engine and Business Process Engine.
The J2EE stack contains the Adapter Engine and your IR and ID run on the J2EE engine.
Most of XI pipelines happens in the ABAP stack.
All messsages picked by the Adapter Framework running on the J2EE engine are passed to the Integration Engine, which does the routing. The mapping program again gets executed on the Java stack and the rest of the pipeline servies are executed again on the ABAP stack and so on.
Message, Java & XSLT (under Imported Archives) mappings are executed at Java stack;
ABAP & XSLT (in ABAP stack) mappings are executed at ABAP stack.

Hi! i am new to abap.Now i am having doubt in smart forms

I am creating a table in smart form for that ztable i create a driver program.I am getting an output for driver program.But in smart while i am executing i am getting only header fields in the table. I am not getting body and also the table format also i am not getting.
While executing the driver program in the print prieview i am getting the body data also.
But in the smart form i am not getting the table format as well as body data. Plz give me the solution

There are 2 approcahes..
(1) user enters data and smartform is displayed based on his/her filters and requirements
(2) no user input data required.....a predefined criterion fetched data
(1) For custom programs -user interactive : If you run the driver program only data will be passed to the smartform based on user filters and selection ..once data is passed it will be populated in the table/item of the smart form and it is seen...If the smart form is executed directly without a driver program the table will not be populated and it will not show...since header fields have been created with text elements or hardcoded text it may show up if we test run smartforms in t-code smartforms...
Usually we assign a custom transaction and assign the driver program to it..end users will not be directly running smartforms ...so as long as we have a driver program and the smartforms work ok on running the driver program..it is fine
(2)No user interaction :We write code in "program lines" in the smart form to fetch data and/or write code in initialisation part of the global data for fetch and data manipulations...it works without the driver program -> used mainly in cases of replacing forms for standard t-codes(through SPRO) where driver program attachement option is not available or a case where we just go and fetch data based on predefined conditions not changable by user

Please help me clear my doubt in oracle forms

I have created a control block and items. I want to make those items as update false but insert should be allowed.
In the propery sheet update_allowed is valid only for base table items how to make the item non updateable for control items.

This is not the Forms forum, but anyway...
We can make non-base table columns non-updateable. I've just tried it with 9i Forms and I'm pretty sure this was true in Forms 4.5.
Why do you think we can't?

Create a step "Form" in workflow

I want to create forms to enter data for processing in Business Workflow, to display and edit data. I ve got a container element Y_form_makt that refers to a structure MAKT.
I ve got a problem attanching a form using Screen Painter and flow logic of this form. I want to use only "Material number" (matnr) and "Material description" (maktx) data fields, so i deleted some fields in Screen Painter.
A logic of my small worklow is "Workflow started -> "Form: Material information" -> "Mail with a Material information" -> "Workflow ended"
Here is my code from flow logic::

An error is "At the screen generation it was detected that a screen to be generated has a syntax error or couldn't be generated due to anotther error.... So I can't delete some fields in Screen Painter, I should display all fields from a standard table???

You're using changing parameter makt when calling routine 'import_data_0001', though I don't see the variable declaration. Nevertheless, can you paste your flow logic as well, these were just PAI and PBO modules I guess.

Multi step form with three tables

Hi:
I have a database with 3 tables. Table 1 has one-to-many
relationship with two others. Infact in table 1 user should enter
his basic info and details will be submited itno two other tables.
Is there any easy way to make it with DW/colfusion?
I know that session may help but it is needed that each page
can submit information (if the user doesn't fill the last form them

I thought of sending information to other page with form
action="page.cfm" but my problem is I don't know how to submit
information in the second form that the primary key of table one
becoms the foreign key of the next page. Please please I really

My project is about patients registration database. I am a
medical doctor and know some about coldfusion and some about SQL. I
am doing this project for the patient and free of charge and I can
not hire any professional programmer. My research center has boght
a Coldfusion Web server (Webserve.ca) and we are in hurry to
register the patients and organize their data to manage their
cancer problems or alarming them for future personal/familial
follow ups.(purchasing the host was a problem then {because of the
money shortage}but solved fortunately)
The cancer information tables are about 10 tables and a
parent table for patients general/personal information.
I tried to build it with coldfusion/dreamweaver wizards but I
have many problems. There is no coldfusion expert avaiable as I
said (as you know there is a shortage of money in research centers)
and the solution is something that the patients really need.
It will be great if some one helps me. Surely the name of the
this project savior (you are really a savior of many if you help)
will be a part of the prject.
