Can any one brief me the steps involved in downgrading my firmware for e 71 and also the link where the previous version s available ?

Self downgrading is not possible so no links can be provided.
Nokia care points can downgrade phones but it's at their discretion as it's not a recommended procedure. Call your nearest and ask if they can do it.

I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?) touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

How to downgrade my firmware version after a "succesful" update?

Is there any way to downgrade my firmware version from 1.5.1 to a lower version? Even if my firmware update has been applied succesfully? I cannot use just the firmware restore CD because that is for an interupted or failed update.

Is it possible to downgrade E3000 firmware ?

Is it possible to downgrade the firmware in the E3000 router? I do not see a problem as long as you can get your hands on the old firmware .bin file. Does anyone have the old firmware or 1.01?? File name was:
FW_E3000_1.0.01.006_US_20100415_code.bin

I just went through an interesting session as I was trying to upgrade the firmware. Glad that it crashed in the middle of it. Even though I had to set up the E3000 all over again, the mere reading of the nightmare experienced with the new version is enough for me to say NO to the next offer to update the firmware. That is, at least when Cisco can guarantee that it fixes problems, not creating new ones. Come on Cisco, you should be better than that...

Downgrading AEBS Firmware - has this changed?

A while back I was having problems with my AEBS (older model Vaio couldn't see the basestation) so I downgraded the firmware to 7.1
Now, a year or so later, I have new flashy computers... so I've upgraded the firmware to 7.3.2
It's all working fine... but what if I have problems again? I tried a dummy-run of downgrading again - holding down the OPTION key, clicking VERSION or CHECK FOR UPDATES etc - but it doesn't offer me any downgrade options anymore.
Is that because there's nothing wrong with the current firmware and Apple doesn't need to offer the old stuff anymore... or do the old versions simply become unavailable over time?

Apparently all it needed was a quick restart, and now I can see all available downgrades should I need them.

Need to downgrade Airport firmware from 7.6.1 but on Mtn Lion..

My iMac is on Mountain Lion and I just figured out that Airport Utility 5.6 won't run on Mountain Lion... Isn't that the last version of AU that will allow you to downgrade Airport firmware to an order version?
If so, how do I downgrade my Airport Exteme/Express from 7.6.1 to an older version of firmware using Airport Utility 6.1 and my iMac on Mountain Lion?

Try option-click on the version number if you want to try moving down in firmware.

Downgrading Timecapsule firmware results in error -9

I'm using airport utility 6.1 on Windows 7 and I wanted to downgrade to an earlier firmware 7.6 or 7.5.2. However, everytime I tried to upload the firmware, the airport utility reports and error -9 saying that I might not be connected to the time capsule. Has anyone every experienced this or have a solution to it? Many thanks!

Apple are making their error messages as obscure as windows ones.
I would do the following.
1. Reset the TC to factory settings..
2. Make sure no computer is using the TC disk.. Apple state this condition for upgrade.

That would include even mapping the drive.
3. If you finally cannot get it to go, locate a MacBook equipped friend to come and have a drink.. bring laptop.
In the end the TC is designed for Apple, by Apple.. with the merest nod to windows. When in doubt you need a Mac.

Look at the 'second' installation disk. It should have the AHT instructions on it. Insert the disk into the DVD drive and hold the D key.

Need to downgrade to firmware 7.3.2 - look at firmware binary file

After upgrading to firmware 7.4.2 from 7.3.2 my Airport Express went bad.
I believed there was something wrong with my Apple softwares, so I uninstalled all airport express, itunes, ... from the PC and reinstall all.
Now I am sure it is because of the firmware, but when I try to upload older firmware, there are no more on my PC and I deeply checked on the Net but find nowhere where I can find a 7.3.2 firmware file.
If someone has it on his PC, please send it to me (can be done through MP or email to [email protected])

QuickTime- How to uninstall for reinstallation of the software?
1. Quit all applications.
2. Go to your /Applications folder and Trash the current application "QuickTime Player.app"
3. Then go to /Library/Receipts/
4. Look for QuickTime related receipt files. Only remove the QuickTime version updates.
-- SUCH ITEMS TO REMOVE: QuickTime.pkg, QuickTime652.pkg, QuickTime701.pkg or QuickTime713.pkg.
-- DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE: QuickTimeMPEG2.pkg, QuickTimeMPEG2Pro.pkg and QuickTimeProMedia.pkg files.
5. Place installer receipt files in the Trash. So, now you have "uninstalled" QuickTime.
6. To download the most current version of QuickTime go to:

OR YOUR REQUESTED VERSION GO TO THIS ADDRESS INSTEAD:

7. After download is complete. Continue with installation by following the on screen instructions. This particular installation will require a restart.

As per the?BEFORE you post, READ THIS FIRST (FAQ) post look here in the Zen FAQ at Nomadness.net.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION FOR A7-30 A3300-GV/G/HV/H TOUCHSCREEN PROBLEM (DOWNGRADING/FLASHING FIRMWARE)

TURN OFF THE TABLET AND DO NOT YET CONNECT IT TO THE COMPUTER!
1. Download the official firmware depending on your device:
A3300-GV/G - A3300GV_A442_01_43_140826_ROW
A3300-HV/H - A3300HV_A442_01_19_140827_ROW
Click the download icon
2. Extract the downloaded RAR file
4. Don't use the SP Flash Tool and Drivers in the archive. Use the updated versions.

5. Extract them (unblock the archive - right click the file, then properties, then Unblock at the bottom)
6. Open the Drivers folder, then run Install.bat as admin
7. Wait for it to install (it takes some time)
To load the drivers, press the volume up button of your tab. (DO NOT RELEASE IT). Then connect your tablet to your PC. Wait for the computer to finish installing the drivers for your device. After installing, disconnect your tablet and if it is turned on, turn it off again.
8. After installation, run flash_tool.exe as admin from the SP Flash Tool folder.
9. On the Download Section, click on scatter loading
10. In the box, go to the folder of the firmware, open target_bin, then click MT6582_android_scatter.txt (Our processor is MT8382 but that's okay.)
11. Click the Download button (it doesn't require Internet)
12. After you press download, press the volume up button of your tablet, DO NOT RELEASE IT. Then connect your tab to your PC, you can release the volume up button ONCE SP FLASHTOOL HAS STARTED FLASHING YOUR DEVICE.
13. Flashing takes time, so wait for it. After flashing, disconnect your tab.
14. Clear your /data and /cache first. Boot to recovery (Power + button up button). Press power button again. Navigate by pressing down, and select by pressing up.
15. Choose factory reset, then yes.
16. Boot your tablet. (It takes some minutes.)
