Downlaod links Conditinally.

Question

Hi Gurus,
I have a Requirement to show only PDF and HTML links in Download link below the Report(Default its showing excel,CSV,Word,PDF,HTMl..etc).How to achieve this?
I found some infornmation on the below blog but I am unable to understand it..
http://www.rittmanmead.com/files/biforum2012/masterclass/RM_BIForum12_Cust2.pdf .........in this slide i reffered Reporting-Modify Export and Down load optins.
I know some Crude way like taking the source for PDF and HTML downloads from View Source of page to get this done but I want know is there any simple way to do it?

Hi,
To completely remove a particular download option you need to follow the below steps:
For e.g. to remove Export to PDF option, below are the steps:
- Locate the file 'viewscontrolmessages.xml' in the '\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\messages' folder.
- Copy the file 'viewscontrolmessages.xml' to the '\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\msgdb\l_en\customMessages' directory.
- Here you might need to create the sub-folders \l_en\customMessages.
- Open the copied file in an editor and comment the below tags (<!-- -->)

- Save the file
- Re-start the OBI Presentation services (using Enterprise Manager).
