I have an impossibly slow connetion at home but I have a alptop I take into town for downloading ease. With CC can I download away from home on a PC and later transfer to my Mac at home?

Really, really frustrating dealing with Adobe Customer Service. Chatting with Indian or Pakistani support for over an hour only to be told they don't know what to do.
I then tried to get them to send the disks, which others have posted is possible. That sent them into a tailspin. This is not good customer service.
I will now proceed to vent my frustration on the web.

You should disable Java (if not already done) until either the US Department of Homeland Security, or Oracle, declare it safe and Apple restore the facility. Oracle have released an update said to fix the security flaw, available from here:

Serial numbers for standalone products are platform specifc. If you are on CS6, you can do a platform swap:
Order an Adobe product platform swap or language swap
You will never be able to use it on both platforms that way, though. The only products that are cross-platform are Lightroom, PS ELements and of course Creative Cloud allows you to freely pick where you use it...

To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer from here, uninstall iTunes and suppporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

Is it possible to download lion and not install it? (save for later?)

I have just started the download, but after reading the reviews, and knowing that I have microsoft office 2004 which is not compatible, and it will be a while before I can buy the new microsoft packsge, I need to wait to install lion, as I need the microsoft for my school.
Does anyone know if you have to install it right away, or can you keep it for later on?

As someone once said elsewhere: these forums are like hospital emergency rooms. You only see sick people here. Those that are well and not having problems tend not to post "all is fine with me" and such. While there are some legitimate issues with some people's upgrade, we just won't hear from the millions of others whose Lion upgrade went just fine. And some of the "bad press" is people just not liking any of the changes to the way Lion does things. (i.e.: Resume, reversed scrolling.) To some, any change is bad and they immediately don't like it without seeing if new feature is actually is better or not. Which I find ironic since if one really doesn't like change, why would one upgrade in the first place?
