  • Default Price List Question

I understand that the default price list for any B/P is the first price list in the list (of Price Lists). So if the first Price List is a Selling Price List for Customers, this would also be applied to Suppliers. How can I stop this from happening?
    Thanks
    Robert

    Hi Nagesh
I know that the B/P Payment terms is linked to a price list and one needs to choose a relevant price list that is applicable to a Sales Debtor or a Purchase Creditor. The point I am making that by DEFAULT (if you do not choose a particular price list to be attached to the Payment Terms record) the system chooses the top Payment Term from the list of Payment Terms. In our case our first Payment Term is our 30 Days which is set to our Selling Price. However, we did not know that the 30 Days Payment Term will be automatically applied to all B/P including our Creditors.
As far as I can see SAP B1 does not differentiate between B/P Debtors and B/P Creditors as far as Payment Terms/Price lists is concerned. This does not seem to be right because it is easy to pick up the wrong Payment Term that has the wrong price list attached to it.
At present we had to set up two sets of Payment Terms for Creditors (with Purchase Price lists attached to them and Sales Payment Terms with Selling Price lists atttached to them). This however is not a good solution because I think that Sales Price Lists and Payments terms should be separated from Cost Price lists.
If you know of a solution to this problem I would appreciate your input.
    Thanks
    Robert
In short what I am saying is when you create a new B/P it will pick up by default the top Payment Term from the list without taking into account if this Payment Term is relevant to the type of B/P you are creating (Customer or Supplier)

  • How to save LIST_LINE_ID of Price List when create Sales Order Line

I dont know how save the LIST_LINE_ID of the Price List on Sales Order or anywhere when create Sales Order Line.
I create with the following steps:
Step 1: Create Price List for Item A with two line: Line 1 (Unit Price = 10,5, Pricing Attribute with Tax Classification Code = 5%), Line 2 (Unit Price = 11, Pricing Attribute with Tax Classification Code = 10%)
Step 2: I create Sales Order Line with Item A, Tax Classification Code = 5% --> Unit Selling Price = List Price = 10,5 but dont bookorder
Step 3: I update the Unit Price of Line 1 into 11.55.
Step4 : I book this Sales Order. Howerver, I use form personalization to customize Book Event: if the Unit Price of Item on Price List > Unit Selling Price then cant not Book. But I dont konw List Price of Sales Order belong the line of Price List.
Please help me check this issue. Thanks for your supports.

Bob's right - except that if you have OM: List Price Override Privilege set to 'Unlimited' (and from your scenario it sounds as if you have) it is possible that the value in unit_list_price will vary from what was originally retrieved from the price list.
In that case, a safer bet is to use :LINE.original_list_price in your personalization as this will always contain what was originally retrieved and will mean you can avoid any repeat lookup via list_line_id.

  • I downloaded a standard price list utilized in the industry however, I am unable to edit same.

I dowloaded a standard price list utilized by builders, electricians etc., however I am unable to edit same.  What can I do

To edit a PDF file, you can use Adobe Acrobat XI. Or you can use Adobe ExportPDF to convert the PDF to an editable format (like Word).  You cannot edit PDF files with Workspaces (which is the forum you posted in).
Note that not all PDF files are editable - even with Acrobat or ExportPDF.

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • PLD - AR Invoice How to show another item price from a different price list

    Hi,
I am trying to print a suggested price list price, which is different to the selling price being used on the item line i.e for Item ABC on line 1 of the invoice we would like to show the selling price (price list 1) as well as the suggested selling price (price list 2).
    How can we do this?
    Thanks
    Jacques

    Hi Jacques,
I don't think it's possible in PLD. As an alternative, you could add a UDF with a formatted search, which picks up the suggested selling price, and you could show this UDF on the print layout.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Nat

  • Manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.

    In OM R-12
Our client wants manual override option for Unit selling price in Order line level.
But there is no solution available to fulfill this requirment. To be able to manually override the price on a Sales Order line you
must have defined a manual modifier that qualifies for the Sales Order line in question. Without a suitable manual modifier the price cannot be changed.
    This is current standard functionality.
Anybody can give some suggestion/workaround to override selling price in Order header level without using the modifiers.
    regards,

    Hi Kashif,
I'm finding it little difficult to buy Oracle Support's feedback with regards to R12 functionality for direct List Price update without using any modifier (manual or whatever). After all it is Oracle's product and they should know better. But test results in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance (http://www.solutionbeacon.com/tools_r12vision.htm) and documentation updates in R12 (R12.0.4) OM user guide & implementation manuals potray a different picture.
After your last post, I did a test in Solution Beacon's Vision 12.0.6 instance with following details:
OM: List Price Override Privilege = "Unlimited Access" at user level
OM: Discounting Privileges = "None" at user level
No manual modifiers defined and Order status = "Entered"
I could display the "List Price" field from folder under Line Items >> Main tab, override the list price to a new value and save. The unit selling price showed the new value based on updated List Price as soon as I tabbed out of the list price field after overriding. After saving it showed the new selling price. _Please note that under Line Items >> Pricing tab there is another "List Price" field and that is not editable_. For such overrides "View Adjustments" (from Line >> Actions) will not show any adjustment details as it is a direct update of list price.
Also please note that, if "Enforce List Price" checkbox is selected for the order type, the list price cannot be overridden even if the profile option is set to "Unlimited Access".

+Note: Note: If any order line for an order has the Calculate Price Flag value equal to Partial Price or Freeze Price new order level adjustments will not be applied or allowed to be overridden. _The profile option OM: List Price Override  Privilege controls your ability to override the unit list price. If you have this profile set to Unlimited, you may modify the unit list price by editing the current value displayed_. The original list price is saved in a hidden folder field, so you can display it if necessary+.

_A new profile option, OM: List Price Override Privilege controls whether or not you can update the List Price_. It is enabled and updated at the application, responsibility and user level. It is not user visible and updatable. The values include+:
    - View Only: This is the default value. If set to this value, the current behavior is retained, which means unit list price field is protected.
    - Unlimited Privilege: If set to this value, you can override the unit list price field from the main tab and immediately see selling price adjusted accordingly.
    To use Override List Price:
+1. Navigate to the Sales Orders/Quick Sales Orders window.+
+2. Enter the header and line information, including the ordered item and quantity, then tab to the next field. The Selling Price and List Price display+.
+3. If the profile is set to Unlimited Privilege, you can enter a new list price in the List Price field. You can either proceed to the next line or save your work+.
+4. You can see the new, entered list price, and if there are automatic discounts applied, they will be based on the new list price+.
+5. If the folder has been modified to show the Original List Price, the original list price displays+.
+6. To change the List Price again, go to the list price field and enter a new value, replacing a previously entered value. If Audit Trail is enabled for List Price and a reason is required, a window appears to enter a reason and optional comments+.
Note: Subsequent overrides of the List Price, after the order line is saved, can be captured by Audit Trail, depending on the setup of Audit Trail (entered or booked state) and any processing constraints that have been set up.

  • Online Price List

    Hello,
One of our client has E-Commerce 5.0 and TREX 7.1 integrated and web shop is working fine.
They are looking forward to integrate online price list.
Current scenario - They have a Z table (50,000 records) which has all the pricing relevant records. We are thinking to replicate it to TREX and generate an ad-hoc query from application. We are expecting TREX should return the result which will be displayed and then users can download the same. Z table has around 25 fields and same needs to be replicated to TREX.
    Questions:
    1. Will it be a good approach to replicate whole Z table to TREX for online price list? If not, what should be the best way of accomplishing this?
    2. Is there any limitations in TREX for each records (like only 512 chars TREX can hold)?
    3. Please recommend any guide if available for this.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks.
    Shubhangi

If you are viewing the TREX as a data store, you may go wrong. It is strictly used as an Index server by the CRM / Product Catalog. The key to the records is the Product GUID and the values of the Product Attributes get indexed and stored. Queries return the product GUIDs (list) for the given attribute values.
Normal Price List is also published in a similar sense. One value per product. If you have to associate multiple values (refer to your question about length), think in terms of Attributes and their values.
There is no method to list the results in a way usable for printing. Any printing capability has to be custom developed.

  • Demantra Price List Collections

We are collecting price lists from EBS into Demantra and found that not all items from the EBS Price List are included in the collection and download into Demantra msd_dem_price_list table. For example, for one price list, the EBS Price List contains 4014 distinct items with active prices; however ,after price list collection is run into Demantra, only 3160 distinct items with prices are populated in the msd_dem_price_list table for this series.
Are there any system constraints that limit the items/pricing records included in the price list collection?
    Thanks

    Hi Raj,
Thanks a lot for the reply.
Actually I was thinking of loading the price at a daily level and at a Item - Location level so I'll have the SALES_DATE, ITEM_CODE, LOCATION_CODE, PRICE colums.
Let's say that I have the next situation: if one product has price 5 starting with 01.01.2011 till 05.31.2011 and starting with that date the price will be 6. How do I define that in the flat file ?
    1. I insert 2 lines i.e.
    SALES_DATE ITEM_CODE LOCATION_CODE PRICE
    01.01.2011 X Y 5
    05.31.2011 X Y 6
    OR
    2. I insert 1 line for each date starting with 01.01.2011 till 05.31.2011 and so on i.e.
    SALES_DATE ITEM_CODE LOCATION_CODE PRICE
    01.02.2011 X Y 5
    01.03.2011 X Y 5
    01.04.2011 X Y 5
    05.31.2011 X Y 6
    06.01.2011 X Y 6
    06.02.2011 X Y 6
    06.03.2011 X Y 6
    Thak you

  • Dynamic Price List

    Hi,
How can I create price list which dynamically changes the selling price based on the purchase price of the batch selected during Sales Order or AR Invoice?
My requirement is that the selling price is calculated based on the purchase price of each batch instead of Last Purchase Price or Purchase Price List.
    With Regards,
    Ram.

    Hi Ram,
Try to create a pricelist for the Purchase Price then assign the new pricelist as the base pricelist in the pricelist menu.  Hope this helps.

  • Internal Sales order not using Price List, Price Showing '0'

    Dear All,
In the Internal Sales Order, why the list price is not used from the price list, why do we need to set the cost to get the price?
    Plz Clarify
    Thanks
    RSM

    Hi,
Internal Sales order is nothing but selling the goods between 2 inventory organizations under same operating unit.
This inventory Org is always within the operating Unit/Business group.
Hence Item Cost defaults in the Item Cost and not the item Price.
If Items are sold to external Customers then Item Prcie will be seen in the sales orders.
iBut yes, upon customization we can still see Item Price in Sales Orders.
    Thanks
    -Arif.
