Error Message : No Response from Application Web Server
I get the time out message as stated above when Download the CSV File from APEX application. The Report has 48000 Records in it. the reports does not have any Joins in it. It is as Simple as Select * from table_name.
Is there any Restrictions on number of data that can be downloaded to the CSV report ?

select b.KB_SUITE_NAME SUITE, a.KB_TEST_CASE_NAME TESTCASE, b.kb_test_phase PHASE, a.KB_TEST_CASE_DESCRIPTION, a.KB_TEST_CASE_AUTHOR AUTHOR,
get_feature_from_ddts(b.KB_SUITE_FEATURE) FEATURE,
c.REQ_NAME TAG, e.REQ_DESC
from KB_TEST_CASE a, KB_SUITE b, KB_TC_REQ c, KB_TC_SUITE d, KB_REQUIREMENTS e
where a.KB_TEST_CASE_ID = d.KB_TEST_CASE_ID and
a.KB_TEST_CASE_ID = c.KB_TEST_CASE_ID and
d.KB_SUITE_ID = b.KB_SUITE_ID and
c.req_name = e.req_name and
b.proj_id = :p3_proj
It's a very simple query.. the same query runs in less than 2 seconds on SQL Navigator.. but when I run it from APEX it takes like 5 minutes.

    Thanks very much for the advice. I trawled through the other answers on the site and it appears others had the same issue. I doubled the available space and the install went like clockwork... which is what one would norma;ly expect from Apple :-)
    Maybe Apple should have a ' definitely read me first' notice before a download takes place with CLEAR instructions to have more than the 6GB they indicate ofr the Mountain Lion download

  • Software update in itunes times out 420mb. Is there a way to resume downloading after connection time out?

    Hi,
    While downloading an update for the iphone, my internet connection momentarily stops.
    This interrupts the update download, which then needs to start from the beginning again.
    Is there any way to enable the download to pick up from where it was interrupted?
    Its a 420 mb update so it never finishes before the connection drops out.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    cheers

    you cant resume it from the last position in itunes but could be paused and resumed,check out website,

  • Cannot download iOS5, system times out.

    When trying to upgrade to iOS 5, I get an error message saying that my system has timed out. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    I've eventually (after many standard attempts) just succeeded through iTunes by (with great reluctance) switching off my Kasperspy Internet Security software just before the download completed and then turning it back on again afterwards, and then doing a scan.
    It seems to work though I have other issues in not synching Favourites / bookmarks with Internet Explorer.

  • Brand new iMAC, Mountain Lion installed, dashboard widgets will not download. Webpage times out. Any suggestions?

    Just purchased a brand new iMAC and sucessfully performed download and install of Mountain Lion (free upgrade). Discovered that dashboard widgets will not download as webpage times_out in both Safari and Firefox. Already set security to allow downloads from 'anywhere' but with no change. Downloads from anywhere else works fine, just widgets won't work, and I've been trying for several days now. Any suggestions? (firewall is off).

  • Iphone update download times out, has anyone else had this problem?

    I was prompted through iTunes for a new iOS update (6.1) and have tried downloading 5 times now (both ways - just download, and also download and install).  However, the download seems to time out.  Is there a known way around this?

    My "brute force" method finally worked - on the 8th attempt at downloading, I finally got the whole file and all is now well.  "Keep trying" is not a very elegant solution, but it did work (each time I downloaded I did get further along before receiving the time out error code - so it was trending toward a solution).

  • Ios 7.0.4 download times out

    Trying to download ios update times out.  Anti-virus and firewall disabled. MS Win7 64bit. Any suggestions?

    - Next try the manual install method of:
    iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
    Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
    - Then try on another computer

  • All Apple updates time out. But through a VPN, it's fine!

    Something might be wrong with Verizon Fios in the NYC area. Since last night, any download from Apple times out. Also http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ reports a speed of less than 1Mbps. Connected to a VPN and everything worked normally. Verizon support guy said nothing was wrong, but someone please tell me why this is happening?
    thanks

    I've experienced the same problem here in Massachusetts.  At first I thought it was an Apple problem, but then I tried downloading iOS 8 via cellular and found it to be orders of magnitude faster than my FIOS 75/75 network despite speedtest showing full speed capability!
    I then tried downloading from Apple through my company's VPN on my home computer (same computer, same physical network as my FIOS setup) and was able to download iOS in about 8 minutes (about 7mb/sec) versus 11-12 kb/sec without the VPN.
    This is outrageous for a supposedly high-speed network.  Does anyone from Verizon monitor this forum?  I'm reluctant to get involved with a level 1 support call on this, as it's clearly not a problem at my end.

  • CSV file download takes long time

    Hi all,
    i have an interactive report and there is Download link to file in different formats.
    My query is long running query it took almost 3 mins to execute and show in the region .
    When i want to download the report in CSV format it also took the same time as the query needs to executed.
    My Question ? is why it took the same time download? is it querying DB again to save in CSV?
    How the download to CSV can be faster within seconds.
    Please help me.
    adnan

    is it querying DB again to save in CSV?Yes. Depending on the report pagination property, the screen might showing a subset of the data, the CSV export function has to re-execute the query in order to generate the CSV file. Try tuning the query so it runs faster.
    If you are using IE, I see that the right-click menu has a Export to Excel option; that seems to export just the data you see on the screen, not sure how IE implements that but just thought I would point it out to see if it helps in your situation.

    It's not jailbroke or anything but it says the terms and conditions have changed. When I agree, it says your session has times out. Try again. But it doesn't give me an option to try again and has a done button underneath it. I press done. The textplus app says "Waiting..." and is gray. What can I do to download this app?

    iTunes has to contact Apple to send your agreement to the new conditions, but your security software has to allow this contact. If blocked, you'll get a time out message. Follow the instructions here to check your security software settings: iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues

  • Why do app downloads time out? iTunes 10.6.3.25

    I have VZW FiOS, running iTunes 10.6.3.25 on Windows 7 and everytime I download app updates to iTunes they time out - it does not matter if there is 1 app, 3, 30, or more - I find I'm constantly clicking on dialog boxes and the "resume all" button in the downloads window. This is the only progra. Using the same connection on my iPhone they do not time out. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Okay I waited 2 weeks and in that time I had one multiple app download session where I disabled my firewall and still had the issue so I reenabled my firewall. I'm in the process of downloading a total of 48 app updates and thus far it has not kicked out the error. This is telling me that the issue was on Apple's end and it appears to be fixed. I'll give it one more multi-app download session. Thanks for the help and the suggestions.
