Downloaded a 20 dollar app and it wont let me put on phone... PLEASE READ!
I got the iphone today and i downloaded Beat Maker which ive seen a lot of positive reviews. So i got my phone and i had a plane to catch at 5. So i went home and synced my phone and got the music on there assuming if i needed to add videos, etc.. i could do it from any computer with itunes. I get here and use my moms computer and download beatmaker i pay for it and when i go to sync it to my iphone it says " Adding this app with replace all other downloaded apps" so i just click accept thinkin i can download those free apps again later. So i do it and it deletes one app then says apps cannot be transfered because this is not the authorized computer.. so i guess i have to wait a month to get my app that i paid for? or what it says its too big to just download on my phone. Is there anything i can do without deleting my music and contacts and what not??
Not sure if you have tried this yet... but you could Authorize the PC at your moms place?
On windows its under Store -> Authorize Computer.

Im trying to update my apps and it wont let me. When i clicked on an app to update it or to download a free app it says "sign in required, tap continue and sign in to view your billing information" when i did it says "you must verify your payment info before you can makes purchases" then "security code is invalid" when the security code is valid. Why not simply remove yoru payment info by selecting None at top?

Force close the app following these steps
1. Hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top edge until the "Slide to Power Off" screen appears
2. Hold the Home button on the front of the device
While holding the Home button, you should see the screen go back to your Home screen
If this doesn't happen, do a hardware reset by holding the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time until the white apple appears on the screen -
I have an IPhone with music on it and I have an iTunes account on my Mac book pro, its the same itunes account as my phone and it wont let me put music on my phone nor will it allow me to sync the music from my phone to the itunes on my computer. Can you please help me out???? thanks
If iPhone music is not on iTunes Library, you need a 3rd party tool to help you

Basically, i need all my old stuff from my iphone 4 with ios5 onto my new iphone 4. The new phone i received only had ios4. I went to get all my contacts and backup from my old phone onto my new phone and it wont let me because my new phone is only ios4 and my backup from my old phone was in ios5. I cant get ios5 on my phone without creating a new backup of my new phone, which has nothing on it. If i restore it as a new phone and backup virtually nothing from my new phone, will that get rid of all my old backup stuff from my old iphone?
Bottom line is you CANNOT restore to a phone from a backup that has a more recent iOS which is what you're trying to do. Just can't be done.

i have just plugged my i phone 4s into my computer and it automatically synced with i tunes, i tunes for some reason removed all the apps and backed up my phone automatically. ive gone to put my apps back on and its showing me an automatic flash up message saying, i tunes could not upload ibooks onto your device,it must be authorised. Im signed in and im also authorised, ive de authorised and authorised my account now twice.ive deleted the app i books as i read it could be out of date now and still it wont let me sync my apps. its letting me sync some apps that i bought on my new phone and not my 3, i also had an old e mail address registered with these apps and this account but hotmail deleted it for some random security reason. i have also bought an i pad recently and that works fine with my i tunes.can anybody help me as i have an i phone 4s now with nothing on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this new i tunes is crap!!!!!!!!!!!!! never had problems before,all i did was change my e mail address last time and everything was fine with the old version!!

However, you only can download the current version of app.
- For apps your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync. -
Trying to activate iMessage and it says "waiting for activation" for ages and then it wont activate, even after three hours. It also wont choose my phone number to send messages from, it uses my email address instead. PLease help
Is your phone number checked even though it is grayed out? It is chosen by default and even though grayed out should be checked automatically. I had the same issue with people getting my messages from my icloud email which I never use and my messages would start new threads because of it and some people did not recognize my email. Well, one thing that helped me was to go in and make sure that the email you use for your Apple ID is listed as "Home" in your contacts on each of your devices. I'm not sure if that is working with everyone I am messaging yet, but it solved some of them.
Also for me, I am not getting iMessages on my ipad or MBP with Mtn Lion. I have not solved this yet. Anybody out there had this issue yet? -

Does "got on iTunes" include downloading the app with iTunes on your computer?
If so, have you tried installing the app on your iPhone via the iTunes sync process followed by deselecting the app under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by another sync to remove the app from your iPhone? -

You can create a new Apple ID without using a credit card for download free apps by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Follow it exactly as writtien. Note that you have to download and try to install a free app and then create the ID.

hi just got my new apple ipod touch and to download apps it wants to add questions about myself for more sercurity information. i get up to question 3 and it wont let me select a question but it will let me write an answer so i just pressed done and then it says i cant carry on because ive mised out information when it wont let me do a question!
Welcome to the Apple community.
You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -
I tried downloading a free app and it asked for my billing information and when I entered it, it said that there was a billing problem with a previous purchase and I have to update it. I keep updating it and it wont let me verify it and I cant get any apps even if they are free, and I just Deleted some apps to make room for my new upate!
The message says: "The payment method has been denied, try another method"
I'm living in the same country and city since I was born, so I don't think the location is the problem.
And yes, I paid with the card a meal in Burguer King today. And nothing more. -

It's not referencing your iTunes version. It's referencing your device's iOS version. An iPhone 3G has a maximum iOS of 4.2.1. If an app requires an iOS higher than that, it will not work on your iPhone 3G.
