Drag and drop over AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF in C# Winform

Hi,
I've embedded the AxAcroPDFLib.AxAcroPDF PDF Browser control from SDK 2 in a .Net C# Winform, and can load and display a PDF within it.
I want to be able to drag and drop System.Windows.Forms.TextBox (s) over the control and when dropped based on mouse co-ordinates
store the x,y coordinates of the text boxes in a database.
But when I drag and drop text boxes, the cursor changes to No/Disabled and I am unable to drag onto the AxAcroPDF control.

Is this possible ?.
I've simulated the same affect with displaying other types of images such as gif displayed within a Systems.Windows.Form.PictureBox, but this control has Dragdrop events available, but no equivalent withAxAcroPDF?

I have also tried using a System.Windows.Panel control as an "overlayed/same size/location" child of AxAcroPDF , which supports drag and drop events.
The drag and drop works, but the PDF does not show through, even with the Panel.BackColor/Forecolor set to Transparent.

Problem using text boxes as the "image" to drag and drop over audio file

I have been adding audio files to my page in iWeb (previous version, not '08), but I am having a problem giving them titles.
When you first drag a file from iTunes into iWeb, it provides a space for you to drag and drop a picture. The online iWeb guide also says that you can drag a text box there instead of a picture.
I created a text box with the text I would like to drop over the controller. However, it is no longer allowing me to drop the text box there. I used to be able to do this, and I don't know what I'm doing differently now. Any suggestions?

foobar2000 with the ipod plugin will allow you to drag/drop FLAC files and when it syncs the ipod, it converts the FLAC files on the fly. MUCH better than dealing with the crappy iTunes interface and having to pre-convert the files. I absolutely loathe iTunes and it just gets worse and worse!

I beleive they were synced with iCloud before I ran out of storage I then backup to my PC periodically.
My contacts switch is off, I have now slid this across and no contacts have come back. Is there any other steps necessary for me to take? Switch my phone off or reset again?

Master Slide issue - drag and drop alt slide over theme slide

Keynote on my MacPro: Where before on the previous version I could in Master Slides drag and drop an alternative look over a theme slide to change that slide only and no affecting the entire presentation which was most useful, now that seems no longer an option unless there's something I can't find to do that. Although I have been answering quite a lot of questions about Drag&Drop functionality (not a widget), you are the first to mention such problems. Personally I never had problems, only when not respecting the design of the interaction or doing something stupid. If you are the only user to have such experience (at least for what I hear in these forums and on social media), I don't see why an upgrade should be expected? Did you log the problem? Are you sure that the project is not corrupted?
The jigsaw learning interaction is pretty simple, also limited, don't know what are your problems there?
Are you sure that all objects used in the D&D (drag sources and drop targets) are visible in output. It is a bit confusing in CP8 because the eye icon is used both for visible in output for objects in Properties panel, and for showing the links in D&D in the D&D panel. Can you see the links? Did you avoid overlapping of objects? Did you not rename an object after creating the D&D interaction, because that will break the link from/to that object? I have a heirarchical embedded folder structure under \Documents. Usually, as I drag the file to be moved over the various folders, they will blink twice, then expand/open to reveal contents (in Finder). Now, when the file to be moved is held (hovering) over the destination folder, it will not blink or expand, so there's no place to drop the file. If I release the mouse button, the file image disappears, showing that it is "going back to the place it came from", a.k.a. was not moved. This just started happening. I noticed it after upgrading to Mavericks. Is this a bug or could anything else be causing this?

As of today, Apple Support discovered during a remote support session with me that the same thing happens on their own system. It is isolated to "Column View"; the Icon and List views in Finder behave correctly. Issue is being escalated to engineering, and Apple will call to report status in a couple days. In all likelihood, this is a bug that will need to be addressed in a future update.

Drag and drop an image over a JPanel (only change position on same JPanel)

Hi all,
there is JPanel added to a JDialog.
There is a BufferedImage on the JPanel: I need to let the image be dragged and dropped in another position over the same JPanel and read the new position's coordinates.
(Maybe the image has to be wrapped in a JComponent?)

I´m trying to consume an Eservice published in the ServiceRegistry. I can see all the services in the result list when i search them, but when i try to drag and drop any of those service over the model workplace nothing happens.
I hope someone can help me to solve this problem.

Another thing I'd suggest to do (to better understand what goes wrong) is to make sure the VC console is open.
Please goto View menu and check the 'Console' entry (it should be visible in the bottom of the application)
Once you reproduce your problem the console should show information on errors - please put them here and I'll try to analyze the problem

Drag and drop photos over video in imovie 08 - need help

my video format is widescreen but when I drag and drop 800x600 pixel photos (actually jpeg slides) over video, imovie adjust the photos by zooming in cropping out the top of bottom of the photos. I have not been able to find any way to change this within imovie. I'd rather not redo all the slides in a widescreen format. Does anyone know a work around or a setting that I'm just overlooking?

OK Have iTunes on my PC all files converted to MP4 for the vids. It is recognised as it goes on but the new drag and drop does not like my iPad or wont copy files over. Any ideas before I smash it against the wall and buy an android so I can play stuff on

Why wont my iPad accept MP4 Files in my iTunes library unless I sync it. I soooooooooooooo miss drag and drop to the side.

Have your tried using the View menu item Show Sidebar?
This will restore the function of iTunes 11 to what you find familiar.

Having Problem Adding to drag and drop to move furniture over a floor plan

I have the code which follows. I need to create floor plans where web visitors can drag and drop furniture onto the floor plan. I have three items that work but when I convert any additional items to a symbol and select movie clip and then add more lines to the code, none will work.. How can the code determine that my movie clip I named "couch" is going to movie clip 4. Thank you if you can help, Frankie Foster

Drag and drop images from the OS or select images over filebrowser

I want to create an image upload tool in JavaFX with similar functionality like Jumploader (http://jumploader.com/). The users should be able to select images from the filesystem that will be resized and uploaded to their website, similar as in Facebook. The difference is that I want users to be able to crop images directly in my application. This is something, other upload tools do not offer.
I was searching weeks on the web trying to find a sample on how to drag and drop images in to a JavaFX 1.3.1 app or also to create a file browser. I have found many examples but they seem to be outdated. Is it to early yet to try and start projects like these with JavaFX as JavaFX is still under development? Or can anybody lead me in to the right direction?

To be more precise, you can setup a JComponent or JPanel on top of your JavaFX nodes that has a TransferHandler that can convert the (AWT/Swing) images dragged to the app to JavaFX image and then insert it into the underlying node.
As for the file chooser itselft: ListView and the JavaFX composer can allow you to create one quite easily. TreeView can aslso be used to a lesser extend (still a big buggy). For both of these, there are small bugs in the Cell API that may (or may not) prevent from displaying a proper thumbnail in the cells.
You can also use a regular JFileChooser if you do not mind the dialog box having a different LnF from the rest of your application.

I want to Sync my iPhone 4 to iTunes however I get an error message from iTunes each time I connect the phone to the PC saying that I should restore to factory settings. Frustrating because it's already annoying enough that I can't drag and drop mp3's!!!

I have never been so frustrated before in my life with any phone. I find it obnoxious as it is that I cannot simply drag and drop files (especially MP3's) straight from my PC directly into my phone, which I have been used to doing up until now. Everyone who convinced me to get the iPhone has instructed me that my frustration can be fixed by downloading iTunes and syncing it all up via that program (which I have never used before). So, I downloaded the program successfully, however when I connect the iPhone 4 to the PC and iTunes is open, I get an error message that 'iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone "iPhone" and that I should go to the Preferences tab of the iPhone and select 'restore' to restore this phone to factory settings. First of all, I don't understand why I need to do that. I have already downloaded apps and other important things in the 2 days that I have the phone. I am also scared that it will erase my contacts. This is such a headache. Music is very imporatant to me, but I am getting so frustrated that I don't have freedom over the phone which I thought was supposed to be one of the best out there. I would really appreciate help in this matter. I am sure the phone is great but I am on the verge of taking it back and getting something else.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Why does not drag and drop work?!

I am trying to implent a drag and drop from a table to an icon representing a trash.
The drop handler fails in converting the selected rows to a list:

I don't know if this helps, but consider that the collection model comes from a ViewObject built on three EOs with many fields, although the table only shows one column.

An mp3 file on my computer will not import to itunes by either the drag-and-drop or the Add File to Library method. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. My OS is Windows 7.

I purchased an mp3 from a private website on my laptop. The itunes library i sync ipod to is on my desktop, so i copied the mp3 onto a flash drive and then into my desktop in the Downloads folder and Desktop folder as well as the itunes music folder, 3 places. I opened itunes on the desktop and read the instructions for importing music that's already in my computer. Neither the drag-and-drop or the Add File to Library method works. I've tried both ways over and over. Cannot figure out what the problem is. I do note that the name of the mp3 file doesn't show the .mp3 extension, it appears as simply it's title, Eating Healthy, without any extension at all. Could the filename be the problem, or do you have any other idea what I'm doing wrong? My OS is Windows 7, using IE9. Thanks.
ADDENDUM AFTER READING ANOTHER DISCUSSION HERE: I have now tried right clicking the song in Windows Explorer and choosing Open With, clicking itunes. The mp3 plays in itunes but does not add to the library.

I don't have a Recently Added playlist. However, I discovered that the file I had named Eating Healthy was given the name You Can Enjoy Eating Healthy when it copied to iTunes. I'm guessing iTunes pulled the full name of the piece from the internet. Upshot--the mp3 did transfer to iTunes on all 3 tries, but I was looking in my alphabetized list under E, not Y, so I didn't see it there. Thanks for your help.
