Drag together a few technologies

Hi all
My apologies as this is not a specific J2ME post but I'm writing to see if anyone has tried to drag together a few technologies. I'm trying to drag in Bluecove for bluetooth emulation with J2ME Polish so that I can test my app as well as attempt to try and make it look good?
Is this something people attempt to do? At the moment I'm developing on OS X and using Microemulator and the two technologies are working but I would rather use Polish? Has anyone got any good guides? Doesn't have to be OS X based? Or has anyone had the same goals but used different technologies and gone about this another way?
Any advice? Comments and Discussions are welcome!

I am sure this will work if there are just 2 plants...But I need to group together ~ 10 plants....I probably will have to link all these plants in pairs and then the STO will happen from one plant to another in chains before reaching the final destination.
Now, conside this ..
There are 10 plants - A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J
I have grouped the plants in the same order...So, if there is no stock in A but in D, then it has to be traneferred from D to C; Cto B and then B to A. Is there a possibility to get it directly from D to A. And if stock is available in J, I should be able to get it from J to A.
Is this possible? If yes, my problem is solved !!

What is NetWeaver ???

Hi,
I have been working in SAP as an ABAP/HR Developer for last 1.5 years. Very recently I started hearing the word NetWeaver in some consulting requirements. I send my resume over there but they say that you do not have any Netweaver experience so you cannot be considered.
Now, I have taken training of XI, Adobe Forms, Workflows, ABAP and Functional HR module.
My understanding is that NetWeaver is a suite like Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, excel etc.) SAP has simply put together a few technologies together to form a suite, and it has Java touch in it too (Java Stack), nothing more serious.
My questions is, why recruiters say that I do not have netweaver exposure? Is it that they are just looking for the word "NetWeaver" in my resume (as I know XI, Adobe Forms and workflows) ?
I am not even sure if this is right forum to ask this question.

As you noticed, in the SAP world NetWeaver tend to be important.
Or to put it diffrent: If NetWeaver is not mentioned it looks like outdated skills.
Netweaver is:
Web AS
ABAP (Here ABAP Objects, BSP, WebDynpro are also important skills)
Java (Also specify what you have done in this area. WebDynpro ?).
BI ("old" name = BW. What kind of functionallity have you worked with?)
MDM (Master Data Management)
EP (Enterprise Portal. Visual Composer anyone? iViews ? Roles?)
MI (Mobile Infrastructure)
PI (XI is also "old", but som rescruters have note catched up yet).
Each main name contains many functions and some of the are worth mention.
Try to use BI (BW) to mark that you're into the new stuff
The same for PI (XI).
The rest is really up to you.
The resume should be tasteful and like a an appertizer,
making recruiters say: hey, we want more of this person!

Drag & Bounce Application Technology

You may have noticed when you're using the Safari on iPhone, you can touch and drag the application away from the screen (you'll see gray background), but it quickly spring back to the original position. Just before it lock down, it bounces just a little. The bounce is more noticeable at the end of the Contact list, when you try to flick past the end.
1. What drives the drag (not touch screen) technology? Can this same thing be created for a web site?
2. What drives the bounce effect? What is the formal name for this? Can this be done for a web site?

Paul's widget proves it is indeed possible, but you will find
you can't do it using Captivate alone. You will have to create
something in Flash or Swish, then drop that into a slide as an
animation object.

Dragging masked movie clips

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've been playing around with making a draggable movie clip.
This movie clip appears within a container, holder_mc, which is
masked by a mask layer to control what is seen. I can drag
holder_mc around the screen, but the mask does not move with it.
When I hit the movie_btn, I cannot see my VideoPlayer.swf file. If
I do not drag holder_mc anywhere, and just press my movie_btn, I
cannot drag my swf file. Is there an easy way to have the mask and
holder_mc drag together, and have drag functionality even after my
swf is playing?
Here is what I'm using:

Couple of ways... simple enter_frame, or enter_frame TweenLite

Mavericks Drag

I did a clean install of OS X Mavericks. When I start my mac, I can click a file and drag it to another folder. However, after like an hour or after dragging dropping a few files the cursor fails to grav files. I have to restart for it to be resotred. Interestingly enough I can drag and drop icons on my dock. Any suggestions? I use better touch tool, btw.

Why can't I drag in audio in Adobe Premiere Pro CC?

I am currently editing a film in Premiere and trying to drag in a few clips that contain both audio and video. They were shot on a 5D Mark II and are .MOV files. When dragging them from the media browser to my timeline, the video is dropped but the audio just doesn't show up. I know for a fact it is there, as the Source box shows both the audio and video when I play from it. I've never had this problem before, is there a solution?

I want a delay before the drag starts.....

I'd implemented a drag and drop between two JList containing myObject objects behind a celle renderer.
I want that the drag triggering occurs after a few seconds of selection, but now this is not the case, it occurs immediately. The source code for the selection is the following, can I insert something (or alter something) to trigger the drag after a few seconds...?

Flattening paths/shapes together

Hi there,
Still a bit of a newbie at Illustrator but would be grateful if anyone could help.
I've cobbled together a few different shapes to make a bigger one and want to outline the whole shape not each individual one.
Is it possible to somehow flatten the shapes/paths?

Open appearance panel.
Make new stroke for the group

Ideal powerline adapters with Infinity 2?

As the title says, what would be a pretty good (and cheapish) set of powerline ethernet adapters to give best results with Infinity 2?
The engineer set everything up this morning and I get near enough full 80/20. I use a set of 85Mbps TP-LINK adapters and get 6-11Mbps (never noticed the problem before as my old broadband speed was much less).
Currently thinking of ordering 2 sets of 200Mbps TP-LINK adapters unless someone could advise otherwise?

I have aSamsung Smart tv with infinity and will not allow Microsoft to install silverlight to watch BT Sport ,so I thought upgrade with a you view box,then read on how to install that it won't work with a power line plugin- great! This was my original problem when I bought the smart tv ethernet connections, I use Ethernet plugins next to my tv etc setup, but this is no good for BT Sport

Exchange 2003 will migrate to Exchange 2010 or Exchange 2013

Exchange server is on exchange 2003 on windows 2003 R2.
I had an architecture of parent & child domain controllers, Where parent company is closed Down. But we have an additional Domain Controller
of parent DC in our premise.
Due to this fact exchange organization is also unavailable & cannot make modification on my exchange server configurations (Global Settings, such as changing recipients attachment restrictions, everything is grayed out).
Is there any way where we can have staged migration. I mean can I keep old & new server running together & keep few users on new Exchange organization & rest of them be on an existing server itself. (I tried testing this too, but email delivers
to mailbox store, so, it checks a name & say “Mailbox not available”)
If I create a new domain environment, I have challenge of migrating users (This I can achieve with ADMT, but actual story starts with mailbox migration)
Real pain is, I have more than 500 users, can I achieve direct migration over a weekend. (few are POP & OWA users, around 50)
Can anyone help in this please.

So, you have exchange 2003 which is inaccessible! Database files .EDB and .STM is there, but Mailboxes are not available.
And you are planning to create new environment (As you don't have any other option).
This is a cross forest migration. Which exchange you are planning to install in new environment? I would suggest 2013.
The only available option you have (As current environment is Inaccessible), Export the PST from EDB files.
Create Mailbox on Exchange 2013 and Import the PST.
Do you have Public Folder Database?
If yes, apply the same process on it.

Af:tree in ADF

Hi everyone,
I tried to use af:tree and drag and drop functionality together.In my sample i have used two different trees for source and destination of drag and drop and I have set the initiallyExpanded="true" for the trees.
Consider that both the trees are having more than one rows.Now while i drag and drop a row to the destination tree to which i have dropped gets expanded automatically(I have done the background code to add the dragged row as a child to the drop target). This is working perfectly.
But the problem is ,when i create a new tree in the drop target dynamically(ie: i craete a root node dynamically for the new tree using any row in the drag source) and furthur proceeding with adding nodes to the new tree , the node is not being expanded. Because of this i am pushed to expand the tree node manually to view the newly added nodes.
Can anybody help me in solving this?

The link you have shared really saved my time in investigating af:tree component.
I have created two trees and added drag and drop functionality from one tree to another tree. It works fine until I drag and drop few(dynamic - no fixed number) rows to the destination tree. After that I am thrown with a big fat stack overflow exception.

Batch processing and rendering multiple clips in SpeedGrade CC?

I'm new to SpeedGrade CC, just watched 2 hrs of Lynda training, and I'm just about ready to go. Before people jump on my question, let me walk through what my indended use will be.
Unlike most of the content / workflow that was discussed in the training, I'm not color grading a sequence of clips stitched together in a timeline, but multiple clips that have been pre-edited to length, that I want to apply the same color correction two. This will only be done to small groups of clips, maybe 4-5 at a time, but since I'm all about efficiencies, I wanted to ask what the best workflow for doing this is.
Let's assume that I've taken one of the clips and adjusted everything natively in Sg (no Dynamic link from Pr). I like where I ended up with the settings so I saved a .look preset file.
So what is the next best way to handle applying these settings to the other files? Creating mutliple, separate Sg projects doesn't seem the efficient way, and having to cue up each succesively for Render, equally as slow. In the lessons the instructor illuded to working with and processing "dailies", which I also assume would be achieved through a batch process, but that isn't covered.
I appreciate the advice!

Interesting ... process ... you have there. Hmmm. I can't think of any way you could work in Sg that isn't on a timeline. Whether made in PrPro or there in Sg(native) ... it's a video editing program, and that's done on a timeline. Plus the way the both PrPro and Sg are designed, you MUST define and name a project before you can start to work.
Now, other than where the working files for the project will be kept, you don't really have to complete the forms out in PrPro especially. After you give your project a name and say where it's files will be kept, you can simply skip the rest and when you create a new sequence & drop a clip onto it, the sequence settings will be set to match your footage.
Now ... do you have all one type footage (codec, frame size & rate) or different kinds, say some 1080p-24fps, some 720i-60fps, some 460p-29.976fps, that sort of thing?
You know, what I'm thinking ... might actually be the easiest. Create a project in PrPro ... and a new sequence for each type of footage. Use the media browser panel to import all your footage into the project panel ... drag & drop a few similar clips to a sequence, then DL that over to Sg (takes a couple seconds) to grade/look 'em. Save 'em back to PrPro, then render that sequence out. Then when you know you've got a good render, either delete the clips from that timeline & re-use it, or create a new one. Do your next group. Rinse and repeat, so to speak.
I take it you've no reason to save the sequences of graded clips past rendering them, so you should be able to use just the one "projects" and import folders as necessary, removing them as you will. You won't spend near any time with the "project" details, but the programs will be happy.
Again, as noted above you can either copy a grade to other clips on a sequence or put an "adjustment layer" over the clips of a sequence in PrPro (project panel: new item -> adjustment layer) and then grade that ... it will automatically be applied to all clips under it.
And before you ask again, there isn't any way to work a single clip without it being a "project" with a timeline. These aren't photoshop, where you can open a single image.

Processor upgrades

i have had a single 1ghz mdd firewire 800 for about a year. i had great plans for this machine but it is basically a print server for my g4 imac in the living room. recently i purchased a 400 mhz sawtooth to replace the mdd. Is downgrading from a mdd a good idea? i plan on selling one of the powermacs. if i decide to upgrade again which is easier/cheaper to upgrade? there are a lot more processor upgrades for g4 models earlier than the mdd and i am not sure why. i purchased the mdd for around $400. i purchased the sawtooth for $10.

My HP LJ5MP worked with the PhoneNet/EtherMac connection to its AppleTalk port back when I just used the old 10BaseT hub for my LAN and internet connection (before modern router and switches). However, the new switch technology doesn't recognize the EtherMac output, which is the AppleTalk input. I found that when I put the hub in between the EtherMac and the new switch, the switch recognized the hub, which recognized the EtherMac and everything worked on my LAN. With this setup, both my Mac and my PC notebook on my LAN could see and use the HP LJ5MP.
Alternatively, I later bought a D-Link parallel port print server for the HP LJ. It works quite well on my LAN and is a little bit faster than the AppleTalk/EtherMac/hub setup. I currently have both connections to the HP LJ 5MP hooked to my LAN. I do it for redundancy, as the two different connections function independently of each other, so if there is a problem with one, the other usually works. This is important to me as the HP LJ is my primary printer for all my computers.

Exchange Infrastructure (XI) is an Integral part of SAP Net weaver. Position of XI is in the process integration layer of Net weaver stack.
The aim of XI is to integrate different versions of both SAP and non-SAP systems implemented on different platforms (Java, ABAP, and so on). XI enables you to implement cross-system business processes.
XI is based on an open architecture, makes use of open standards and offers services that are essential in a heterogeneous and complex system landscape: namely a runtime infrastructure for message exchange, configuration options for managing business processes and message flow, and options for transforming message contents between the sender and receiver systems.
The application-specific contents are transferred from the sender to the receiver in a freely defined XML schema (XML: extended Markup Language) using the Integration Engine. The structure of a message is therefore determined by the interface data structures used.
The central concept is that, during the design phase, all interfaces required are initially developed independently of a platform and made available in the form of a WSDL description(WSDL: Web Service Description Language). Using this description you can, for example,

As a real world example, XI can be helpful in integrating different banks with SAP R/3. XI Engine also support previous releases of SAP R/3 like 4.6C and have many more adapters to communicate with legacy systems.

2.    A2A and B2B scenarios,
