Drawback in Brazil - CO Reports

Hi guys!
I'm trying to find out the results in CO when using the <b>drawback</b> in <b>Brazil</b>.
I'm working for a company who needs to work with drawback, but they have different scenarios over here:
- products using 2 different methods of drawback
- same product for the local distribution (no exportation)
We need to find out how to treat these products in the SAP, as they need 3 different ways of reports:
1) report to the corporate office in US
2) report to the local corporate office in Brazil
3) report to attend the local tax rules
Do you guys have idea in how to handle it?
Many thanks!
Amanda

  • Reports 6i and OLE data

    Hello Friends,
I want to display OLE content from database using
Reports, after report development I am facing following
problem.does anybody know how to solve it.
    1. Some times OLE content appears in small font,it is very
    difficult to read.
    2. After navigating to pages, some fonts become larger or very
    small.
    3. After navigating to pages, message 'Report can not be
formatted,Object 'vertically' can never fit within...
this error continues even objects and corresponding frames
elasticity changed to variable or Expand.
can anyone have faced such problems ? Please send me solutions,
    It's very urgent.
    Thanx

    Hello,
After lot of R&D, I found solution to my problem, but though
It is working now, I am not sure about it's full success,so I
    welcome any comment on it.
I just changed number of vertical panels per page property of
main section and it is working correctly, but drawback is suppose
your report is of 2 panel, and you have specified panel to 10
then it creates empty panels and prints it as a blank. How to
    avoid this ?

  • Few WAD report  functionalities not compatible in windows 8.1 version

    Hi,
We are currently facing an issue with one of the BEX(Web application designer 3.5) features not working as expected. we have currently using the BEX WAD report in windows 8.1 version and we see issues with the design of the report. The report is built in WAD 3.5 and it works fine in windows 7 OS where as there are some drawbacks of using this report in windows 8.1 . Has anyone faced the same issue, If so what could be the possible solution for this. Is there any SAP note that i can refer to??

  • SCCM 2012 R2 Reports not activate Value button and not showing Visio and Project products

    Hello,
I have experiencing some problems with SCCM reports
    1)  In some of the reports the "Values" button is disabled and because of that I can not select the name of a specific computer, the reports I've noticed that are relating to Specific Computers
    2) The other problem is that when reviewing a software inventory report on a specific computer, Visio nor the Project of Microsoft Office does not appear , which itself can be seen from the Resource Browser
I will appreciate it very much to help me to solve these drawbacks presented in the reports of SCCM 2012 R2.
    Thanks in advance.

open the report in the report builder tool (in the console, right click and edit. From the reports web page you can click the drop down and choose open with report builder) and examine the query that is being used to populate the computername
values list. You should be able to run that query from the report builder utility to see if anything is being returned. For the report you mention, there is no query to bring back computer names. In report builder, in the left hand menu, open the parameters
folder, then right click @variable from the list and open the properties. Go to the available values item in the menu of the properties window and notice that the available values is set to none, not get values from a query. That is why you can't click on
Values in the SSRS report and get a list of computer Names. You could add a query into the report and save the report if you really want a drop down list of all computer names. I would save the report with a different name if I were to take that approach,
it is not a good practice to modify the built in reports.
Regarding the applications you are not seeing, you will have to look at the query contained in the report, and determine if that query is targeting the same view or data that you were looking at using resource explorer. Which category within resource
explorer were you seeing the information you were expecting to see in this report? You can use report builder to see that the report you are looking at is calling a function to return the software titles, and that function looks to be based on the v_gs_softwareproduct
view. If you were looking at software files or add/remove programs within the resource viewer, you won't necessarily see the same information in the report, since the report is reading a different view.
I hope this info will help you to troubleshoot report quirks. SCCM 2012 reporting is a world apart from SCCM 2007 reporting. There are alot more stored procedures and functions used in SCCM 2012, and even a dll file on the reporting point that is required
for some (most) of the reports!

  • Add sub menu

  • This report is required for claiming duty drawback from govenment

    Please note the business process:
    1. Material is imported and import duty is paid for the same.
    2. If the same  material is exported to any country, company can claim
drawback for the import duty paid
The logic for the report can be :
1.System will find all the export materials documents(Movement tyep 601)
between the date range given on selection screen and choose all export
    data as per the layout.
2.System find all receipts documents for the same materials and previos
to the export document date and enter all data as per the layout.
can anyone of you can provide the logic for this report, consider only two movement types[export side] 601 & 602 and[import side] 101 & 102 .

Drawback of duty will be applicable to those components that are imported for the purpose of making export products if I remember correctly how it was done in one of my projects. Your produciton orders typically track a product that is made and once a production unit is produced, component backflush happens. I think if you consider just the component backflush movements, that should be sufficient. However you will need some logic to track down the import component that is used in an export finished product. If you are importing a component for making a domestic product, I don't think you can claim drawback of duty.
These will be questions that your functional counterparts should be able to answer your questions regarding which movements are relevant and even within a relevant movement, how to further filter out those that are for domestic consumption. The logic we used was to go after the export deliveries (that means we exported some finished product), get that finished product's components from the BOM and look at the components that were imported during certain time frame and use that quantity with duty rates etc and calculate the duty drawback. It was a mini application within SAP that is done by creating a lot of Z tables, transactions and reports.
    I hope this helps,
    Srinivas

  • Report Developer Control Of Applying Hints to Analytics Queries

There are numerous ways to apply hints to the queries generated by Analytics:
    - Table level
    - Join level
    - Evaluate calculation
Each has its advantages and drawbacks.
    - Table level: applies the hint to every query that references the table.
    - Join level: applies the hint whenever the join is used in the query.
    - Evaluate: allows the report developer to include a hint, but can't control where Analytics decides to apply the hint.
I propose another method for the report developer to apply hints, when needed, that uses join level hints. All the report developer
does is add the hint column to the Answer or add a filter based on the hint column to the Answer to apply the hint.
    Setup
NOTE: I suggest you do consistency checks along the way, especially before starting work in the next Layer, to be sure that all setup errors are resolved early.
    1) Start by defining a Logical SQL table in the Physical Layer using the following SQL: Select 1 Hint from dual
    2) Alias this table for each hint to be defined for report developer usage. As an example, alias the hint table, creating
No Star and Parallel alias tables.
    3) Join each alias to the physical layer fact tables, using a complex join, where the hint could be applied. In the Join definition screen, put the hint in the HINT field and enter 1=1 for
in the Expression section. Yes, we are creating a cartesian join between the hint and the other joining table. As the hint table always returns one and only one row, there
is no effect on the rows returned by the query. For No Star, you
put NO_STAR_TRANSFORMATION in the Hint field. For Parallel, you put PARALLEL(<physical table name>, default, default), where the physical table name
is the name of the actual database table, not the name of the alias table (Analytics will put the alias in the place of the database table name
when it generates the SQL). Additionally, for hints that have no parameters, you only need to join it
to the Fact tables in a query and not necessarily the dimensions. If you include fields from multiple fact tables, the hint will be applied
for each fact table. So, you may see the hint multiple times in the SQL (something like SELECT /*+ NO_STAR_TRANSFORMATION NO_STAR_TRANSFORMATION */ t00001.col1...)
    4) Add the hint alias tables to the BMM Layer.
    5) Rename the Hint field in each of the BMM hint tables to identify the hint being applied. For No Star, change the column name from Hint to No Star Hint. For Parallel,
change the column name from Hint to Parallel Hint.
    6) Set the hint column as a key.
    7) Join the BMM hint tables to the appropriate fact tables, using a complex join.
    8) Define each hint table as a dimension.
    9) Set the Logical Level in the Content tab in each of the sources of the joined tables to use the Detail of the hint dimension.
    10) Create a folder in the Presentation Layer called Hints
    11) Place each BMM hint field into the Presentation Layer Hints folder.
To apply a hint to your Answer, either add the Hint field to your Answer or create a filter where the Hint field is equal to/is in 1 (the number one). Check that the SQL generated
contains the hint, in Answers, go into Administration, Session Manager, and view the log for the user (the user log level will need to have been set to 7 to see the SQL generated).
Use of hints in more complex setups can be done by performing a setup of the hints that is parallel to the fact table setup. As an example, if you specify fragmentation content and a where
clause in your BMM for your fact tables, you would setup parallel physical layer hint tables and joins, BMM objects and joins, fragmentation content, and where clauses based on the
hint tables (only hint tables are referenced in the where clause).
As any database person knows, hints can either help or degrade the performance of queries. So, taking the SQL of the pre-hint Answer and figuring out which hints give the best
performance is suggested, prior to adding the hint fields/filters to the Answer.

  • Report S_ALR_87012168

    Hi Guys
I am running report S_ALR_87012168 with one company code which is in europe. It is giving me values in DEM but the company code currency is CHF.
When I select Currency tab on it gives me Database currency CHF and List currency DEM.
For brazil also it is giving report in CHF instead of BRL.
Any reason why this standard report changes currency or it has been changed by someone and (how to find out?)
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,
    Roberto.

I am not sure if this will give you an answer but try maintaining parameters in RPC0 reporting currency tab and select object currency or transaction currency and try.
    Thanks,

  • Dynamic Order By on Report Builder 10g

    Hi,
How can I do a dynamic order by clause using user parameters on Report Builder 10g? I need to set dynamically the column and the direction on the clause.
    Thanks.
    Bruno Galletti
    Brazil.

    Hi Bruno / Rainer,
I am implementing the same solution, and after adding the lexical parameter reference in the SQL statement and calling the report from Oracle Forms the report failed with the following error on the report server:
    Terminated with error: <br>REP-300: missing expression select wcsr_no , wcsr_date , wcsr_rec_week_zone , wcsr_loc_house_num || ' ' || wcsr_loc_pre_dir || ' ' || wcsr_loc_street_name || ' ' || wcsr_loc_street_type || ' ' || wcsr_loc_post_dir || ' ' || wcsr_loc_unit || ' ' || wcsr_loc_city || ' ' || wcsr ==>
No change has been done to the SQL statement except adding the &p_orderby parameter at the end of the query.
Any suggestions? Are all parameters defined as "bind" parameters on the Repotr Object Navigator.?
    Thanks
