You just redraw the shape as needed. It should be fast enough to look as though you're scaling, stretching it, but you're really just drawing it over and over according to your handle positions.

For example, if tomorrow will be new updates for Logic Pro for exapmle 9.1.8. (now I have 9.1.7) Will I not able to get it?? Now should I buy the second Logic pro??
Recently I have got answer from App Store support:
"Max, since you have not purchased the app in the App Store, you can't get updates directly in App Store. In this case, you will need to purchase the updated version in the App Store so you can get further updates."
It's... I bought Logic Pro 9 + MainStage + + +++ .... in the Apple Retail Store and what now?? Updates works perfect in Snow Leopard.
I can't understand...

Rest assurred, you will get updates via the App store. What will happen is when you install the box version, the Mac App Store will ping when there is an update to download(for free), much like any other Apple app(Garageband, iWork, etc) regardless of where you bought it from. If it's installed, it will check for updates.
If the Mac App store doesn't show an update that you know is out, simply down it directly from support.apple.com and apply it.

I just got word that my 15" shipped this morning (yay!). I went to the campus bookshop to look at the MBPs there, and I saw that the actual box for the MBP is very small. I was wondering how much larger the box that that box is shipped in?

It's a shrink-wrap fit but don't worry. The method and type of foam used by Apple ensures a very safe transport. If in fact, this is your concern. To be more specific: 5.5 x 19.25 x 19.25 inches.

How do you resize the box and font size when adding comments

We add numbers and comments to our technical drawings but we cannot seem to control the font size or the color of the font.

No, I don't think it is possible to make 1 character width as default. If someone wants 1 character width, just Click-n-Drag (like you draw a box).

If Outline and Background color is not needed, than why don't you use "Add or Edit Text Box" (aka Typewriter)
Goto 'Tools' pane > Content > Edit Text & Objects > "Add or Edit Text Box"

How to get the BOX Serial No.

Someone, know how I can get the BOX Serial Number?
I tried with: java.lang.System.getProperty();, but i retrieve only the Company Manufacturer:
java.lang.System.getProperty("havi.implementation.vendor");
I see this in HAVI documentation Api but, i not found how i can get the serial number, anyone know what i can do? Or where i can find the right Api? or if is write in a file in the system and what file?

The closest thing to a complete list of properties that's available is in the MHP spec in section 11.3.1.1, part g (yes, they couln't have hidden it much better)
The properties that must be supported by an MHP receiver are:
- file.separator
- path.separator
- line.separator
- dvb.returnchannel.timeout
- dvb.persistent.root (only available if the application has permission to access the persistent filesystem)
There are a couple of extra properties that you can get from the Xlet Context using getXletProperty():
- dvb.org.id
- dvb.app.id
- dvb.caller.parameters
dvb.org.id and dvb.app.id give you the organisation ID and application ID for that application, as indicated in the application signalling. dvb.caller.parameters gives you the arguments that were passed to the Xlet if it was started by another app using the application listing and launching API - if it was started in the normal way then this is empty. A few more details about these is given in part 11.7.1.1 of the MHP spec.
This information should make it up on to my website sometime soon - I'm busy working on some OCAP tutorials at the moment, but once those are done I plan to revisit some of the MHP stuff and update/expand it.

First, you should carefully think why you'd need to resize. You can export from FCP X to the standard sizes, both HD and SD. Do you really need some nonstandard size?
Keep in mind that usually you'll get the best quality if you edit in the desired final size, rather than resizing afterwards.
If you do need to create a video in some nonstandard size, like, say 1080x1920 (i.e. in "portrait" form), there is a way to do it:

With Compressor you have many pre-made defaults for different kinds of devices. Also, you can export to Quicktime and tweak the settings to get a desired size.
1-Drag one of the existing settings (in the example below, I used SD 480p)
2-Select it
3-In the Inspector, select the "Geometry" tab
4-Choose "Custom" and enter the desired size.
5-Change the other properties (such as codec, under the "Encoder" tab), as needed
5-Choose "Save As..." and save it (give a suggestive name, say "Portrait") so that you can later reuse it as needed.

How to resize the menu,address and bookmark toolbars. Not the font but the toolbar sizes

I'm trying to reduce the overall space of the top of the firefox page.
I have the menu and the the bookmarks tool bars checked and between those 2 and the address and site header it takes up way to much real estate.
My font size is good but the wasted area is way to much and I can't seem to find the simple answer to looking for addons and themes to just resize the height of the space.
This is the new 33.1 and up to this point all custom has been a breeze.

Have you considered running Firefox in [[How to make Firefox and websites go full screen|Full Screen mode]]? There is also an extension that hides the toolbars until you hover your mouse over the top of the screen:

just check with the different style properties
in Region attributes put the below code.

Since the window is larger than the screen I cannot use the scroll-bar anymore properly...
