  • Unable to see SAP UR Design/Themes perspective

    HI All,
I am following this tutorial to change themes in webdynpro java:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ccb6bcf4-0401-0010-e3bc-ec0ef03e13d1
I am using NWDS 7.0.09. I have downloaded theme editor plugins for 2004s SPS 14. Out of the three plugins I am not able to find com.sap.ur.previeweditor_1.1.6 plugin. Hence when I restarted the NWDS I was unable to get the SAP UR Design/Themes perspective.
Can anyone please help me? Where can I find this plugin? Also are the version of NWDS and the plug ins that I am using compatible?
    Thanks,
    Malita

    Hi,

  • 150 Apple-designed themes?

Am I missing something in my copy of iDVD?
The statement below from the Apple web site says there are "150 Apple-designed themes" in iDVD.
I can only see a total of 50, maybe a few more if you count double for wide screen and non widescreen.
    "The theme’s the thing.
iDVD also lets you customize your DVDs by starting with themes. Choose from more than 150 Apple-designed themes in widescreen and standard format, each providing a family of coordinated screens including main menu, chapters menu, and extras menu for content like slideshows. Many themes feature attractive animations, and every theme offers drop zones that make it easy to personalize your menus by dragging in photos and movie clips from the iLife Media Browser."

    Certainly not 150!
    104 .. not counting 'variations' ..
    Uploaded with Skitch!
some are 'free ones', collected over the years ...
and I modify to build my 'own' ones for my projects ..

  • How can i change my links to glow after designing them in photoshop and slicing them to dreamwaver?

Hi guys? need some help here.  i designed my website task bars in Photoshop and later sliced them to Dreamweaver. I managed to  to link them properly. But my nightmare is how can i apply effects to them such as changing color and shaking when the mouse rolls over? please help@

If the email's not in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.

  • So where can I get, if not design, themes for my 5...

I'd really like to be able to customize to the fullest. I like the built in Nokia theme, but it's just TOO default for me,a nd besides, EVERYONE has it! Thanks, in advance!

You can find 10000's of themes by searching google.
Or you can use the program in the link below to create themes for it.
    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/bb173537-4e67-496f-9967-50917d5cfc47/S60_Theme_Studi...
The link says it's for the S60 symbian OS but the program also works with standard series 40 phones like the 5300.

  • Will anything happen to my apps using DPS, if I cancel my Cloud Membership I designed them on?

Hi, I am new to DPS, and am interested in the creating some apps with it.
I had the question that is in the subject line,
Also, I notice that in the workflows of different editions of DPS, the professional and enterprise have you upload your apps to an Adobe server. Is there a way to upload the Apps straight to the AppleStore instead? Does Adobe hold any entitelments to revenue through that server?
    Thanks,
    Jackson

With Creative Clould you create Built in Single issues, the content is not hosted on Adobe servers and is embedded in the app, thus even if you cancel your subcription, it would not effect your live app on App store.

  • Problem Portal Theme

    Hi experts,
I have changed the theme of the portal. When I run an application from the portal that has a table with a scroll it does not take the color of the Theme, i checked the item and the editor of the elements: Application and Scrollbar has the same set colors.
Any idea to solve the problem.
    Thank you very much.
    Yajaira.

    Hi Yajaira,
    Did clearing the cache worked?
How are you editing the themes?  Through the portal?  Just fyi, there's a plug-in available for NWDS which lets you modify the themes.  I am not too sure about this but there might be additional properties exposed this way.
The plug-in is SAP UR Design/Themes and it is located here: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/136dd890-0201-0010-1b9d-bd09a0d3b1d8

  • How to switch Theme

I want to give a user possibility to switch language. The best way to do this is to switch between theme. Is there any plugin I can use?

You associate the other theme with the localization in the theme details.
Setup - Theme Designer - Theme details - choose localization from the dropdown menu
Then in each theme add a slot that links to the other themes, which if they are assoicated with a different localization, will make them switch languages.
You can use a link like this www.yourwebsite.com/?serverid=spanishtheme in a slot in all your themes, so that if they are in one theme they can switch back
Check out the OEC 4 theme, it has an example of language switching via themes
Keep in mind you will have to translate the theme with the String Editor plugin

  • Changed theme on main blog page, lost all entries

I am updating the site visually and was attempting to change the theme as I had done with other pages, but nothing was happening. Fortunately, I had done a save before going starting on this page. So, I noted that I had NO entries on my blog, so I reverted to saved version. My problem remains, I have a blank entry page. The main blog page is ok and shows my entries and the archive option, but when I try to actually go to an entry or make a new entry, nothing happens or IWeb will crash. Any suggestions appreciated. I can go back to last night's backup, but I will lose all my other page changes I worked on this morning which would be a bummer!

Problems with iWeb's blog are a recurring theme on these forums. An alternative to iWeb's blog is to hyperlink from your iWeb site to a free Posterous blog, perhaps via their Posterous Blog Widget — see here.
    Or there's WordPress:

...which has many design themes to choose from — this one has tabs:

  • Web Banner Ad Design

    Hello!
I'm in the process of designing some web banner ads and although Photoshop and Flash are the first obvious choices for designing them, I'm not sure what is the best choice. I've created simple animated GIFs with Photoshop but the client might be looking for something a little more complex as far as animation. The requirements for these ads are below and don't know if this limits what I can and can't do and/or application to use or not use.
728x90px ad, no larger than 80kb, .jpg or .gif format
300x100px ad, no larger than 80kb, .jpg or .gif format
I would love some feedback as to best practices. Thank you in advance.
    ~Erick

Flash is a dead web technology because the world's most popular web devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Android...) do not support Flash.   Also, Flash animations are typically much larger than 80KB.
The current trend in web design is to use jQuery or a combination of web technologies (CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript) for interactive & animated web content.  See Adobe Edge Animate below.  But your output file size will definitely exceed 80KB.
    http://html.adobe.com/edge/animate/
Given your 80KB limitation, I think the best you can do is static jpgs or smaller animated gifs in Photoshop.
    Good luck with your project!

  • Weblogic design documents

    Hello friends
I'm looking for oracle weblogic high level and low level design documents covering various aspects of weblogic that would eventually be used to write a build instructions document as well. Please can you provide me with the sample if any one has it
    thanks

Thanks James..what I'm looking for is design document templates that cover various areas of weblogic and how we can use design them for an application..
for eg covering functional and non-functional areas..like security, deployment, monitoring etc..
I have general weblogic guides but have to write low level and high level designs for a specific app that has to be ported on weblogic along with general guidelines

  • Skills Needed to Design either: Quake, Quake II, Q3A, Unreal,  oUnreal 2003

I'm wondering, what kinds of skills do you need to design first person shooter games like those? For any of you who have designed them, would you need to be very familiar with linear algebra/abstract math/matrix theory type things? How advanced would you need to be in physics? Would you have to be a genius to design those kinds of games, or could you just do it with hard work and a little bit of help from the API? What are your thoughts.

To design the games or to actually write them?
You probably need lots of playing experience and some creativity, as well as knowledge of the limits on your 3D engine in order to design a good game on paper.
To actually write one, you'd probably need:
    - 2D, 3D and sound editors, as well as code to load those files
    - A system for representing the world and the various objects (enemies, powerups, misc. objects) within it, and a level editor to create these worlds easily; probably you'll also need a simple trigger-based scripting system for scripted missions where things happen after the player completes a goal
    - Knowledge of general 3D graphics theory: the rendering pipeline, transformation matrices, multitexturing, various types of light sources, vertex shaders (?), special effects (fog, shadows, water waves, transparent bitmaps for fire/rain/explosions, etc)
    - A good enough representation of physical objects that you can prevent them from going through each other (this is harder if they are arbitrary 3D meshes), and calculate their new velocity and position each frame based on gravity, friction, and interactions with other objects (probably using conservation of momentum or kinetic energy)
    - An AI system for enemies: probably a finite state machine which can give them various goals/missions, and pathfinding and weapon targetting routines
    - Miscellaneous user interface features: a minimap/radar, a way of selecting weapons, a main menu and level selector/loader, code to serialize/deserialize the game state for saving a game, code for networking (probably using UDP).
A good book on creating games would probably contain most of the things you'd need. I've seen many of these. Check Amazon or your local book store maybe.
I don't think a simple first person shooter with most of the main features of Quake or Unreal would be hard to make. However those designers had two things that made the games successful and would be very hard for a single person to do alone:
    1) Time. Lots of it to add details, fix bugs, create artwork/sound, design challenging levels, and even write and document all the basic routines and object libraries that make up the game.
    2) Heavy optimization. Those games look good because almost everything is optimized to go the fastest it can, so there can be more polygons, larger textures, more special effects, more objects and particles, larger levels, and so on. A game with the same gameplay/strategy features as Quake or Unreal but with 3-4 times lower polygon count, blurrier textures, many of the particle effects gone, and smaller levels would be a lot less successful.
