Short Dump while saving the changes in Quotation
Hi abapers,
Please solve my Problem Actually Problem with the Quotation. I have created one SAP Script and attached to VA21. now when I save the Quotation it gets saved byut when I try to open the Quotation in VA22/Va23 first it gives me a short dump but next time it opens up without any short dump.
I get a Short Dump " LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST". Short Description is : "Program "ZZV1SOCONFIRM_INCLUDE" was modified during the run.".
this is just an include which I used it in my SAP Script. Can anybody suggest me what happened with the code.
Below is the Error Anaysis in ST22.
Error analysis
While the program was running, the program "ZZV1SOCONFIRM_INCLUDE" had to be
reloaded
because a bottleneck pushed it out of the local
program buffer. However, the database was found to contain an already
changed program.Hi Mike,
I think by the time you trigger the print out of quotation, Program active version might not be generated. you might have given the print before it gets the active version.
If you are still getting the dump, then it could be problem at output config.

Help needed on memory parameter abap/buffersize
Hello Basis Gurus,
One of the programs in CRM system is failing with dump LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST.
I checked note "1798524 - Runtime error "LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST" when using Segmentation in CRM WEBUI" which seems to be relevant to our situation and found that the parameter 'abap/buffersize' is already on higher side i.e. > 3GB. Please let us know if we need to increase more and if yes then what is the dependency on any other memory parameters?
PS: I always have this question in general on memory parameters due to their sensitive nature (system may not start or adverse impact on other memory parameters). Functional/abap team asks to always increase it but how to check what is the impact and any possible dependency on other memory parameters...!!!
Thanks & Regards,
Kunal.Hi Kunal,
LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST can have multiple possible causes; a too-small program buffer is just one possibility. At 3 GB, yours does seem like it's probably big enough, but there's no way to tell that from the outside without a lot more information.
Does the same program always fail with this dump, or just sometimes? What else is going on in the system when the dump occurs? Are there transports going into the system around that time? Is it really busy at that time? What happens if you run the program by itself during a quiet time, with nothing else going on? Is this a PRD system? Or perhaps a DEV system?
What sort of statistics do you have on the program buffer when you look at it via ST02? Note that since it's practically impossible to buffer every program, you will inevitably have some swaps in this buffer. That's normal operation. What you might do is look at the history of swaps and get a sense of the average number per day. If you consistently get more than 1000 swaps per day (not 1000 swaps total -- that's not important), as an average, then you might want to consider increasing the size of the buffer. If you only occasionally get spikes higher than this, but typically the number of new swaps each day is less, then you probably don't need to increase the buffer.
The other thing you need to look at is available extended memory. Since the program buffer is quite large, you must make sure there is plenty of available memory for extending it, should you decide to do so. You can get a sense of this from various stats, like the ratio of MaxUse to In Mem for Extended Memory on the same ST02 page, and from OS07N (or ST06). Do you have plenty of free physical memory? Are you getting a lot of paging out? Things like that. If your free physical memory looks good, then you have room to expand.
But again, this may not even be the cause of your dumps.
Bear in mind, if you increase the parameter and have problems restarting the system, you can always fall back by decreasing it again, so other than the planned downtime for the restart you don't lose much by giving it a try. If you increase it and the system starts fine, you will need to keep an eye on those memory use statistics over the following days to ensure all is well, but likely if the system starts ok, then you'll be ok. The days of too-large program buffers causing startup problems were mostly associated with 32-bit systems.
Cheers,

LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST Dump Help
Hi,
On our productive system we are getting around 500 dumps a week of the type LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST, related to the transactions MIRO,VA01,FBL1N,MIGO and the programs GBTABCO0 and GBTABFI0.
We only transport orders from QA to productive on Thursday Morning around 3-4 AM, from what i've read this error might happen when replacing versions of the same program on runtime, i believe with the transport method we use its unlikely that the dump is generated because of that, does anyone have any kind of experience with this kind of dump and the possible solutions.
Thank you.

Frequent dumps with the message "LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST"
Hi,
I get frequent dumps in an SRM development server SRM.
u201CLOAD_PROGRAM_LOSTu201D is the dump.
The error analysis says this
While the program was running, the program "CL_O24AZ2T4VNGKGGI9LRCNKSPN8DNCP" had to be reloaded because a bottleneck pushed it out of the local program buffer. However, the database was found to contain an already changed program.
I thought it to be problem with program buffer. When I checked the parameters, the current value of the parameter u201Cabap/buffersizeu201D is 500MB and the available free space is 1MB.
If I increase the value, would my problem be resolved?Or would there be any other dependent parameters that I should take care. Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sudheer.Hi,
if you are using ORACLE, try to consuder increasing sga_max_size and db_cache_size
to set this parameter you must consider your physical memory is available.
i have experienced in the top three largest consumer goods mfg and distributor, which have huge database size and high database growth, with large number of user, currently running 400 MB in abap_buffer_size but seems running well.
hope it help you

Edited by: vyashmishra on Jun 29, 2011 2:47 PMDear All,
My issue got resoulved
Action taken as below
1: reset the buffer via /$sync(tcode)
2: Then chcked in slog and could see due to disk space issue deadlock occured and PID was coming as active for same file
SID.LOB
3: Hence we renamed the SID.LOB to SID.LOB1.
4: We imported the stucked TR for support package in STM(tcode)
After that reimported the package and issue got resoulved.

LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST (NOTE 5451 )
Hi Sap Gears!
I`m having this issue all the time in the execution of a program in SAP 4.6C system. I try to search this problem in the forum and i tryed a lot of time open error message to SAP, but they dont understand my problem....
When i execute this program, a short dump occurs with this PXA Buffer Issue. The Basis Time already increase this buffered memory, but this occurs frequently. When a Bapi is called, this dump occurs always.
Someone has a light for me to resolve this issue?
Thanks!Hi,
The LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST error occurs when there are two
or more versions of a given program loaded into the
buffer at any given time. This happens when the
program is changed by one user while it is still in
use by another user.
When a user gets to the program that is having this
problem and R/3 attempts to load the generated version
from the buffer, it sees that the version is not the
most current and tries to swap it out for the most
current, but the load was lost from the pxa buffer,
hence the dump of LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST.
To correct the error you need to run tranx SAMT &
regenerate the program(s) that are listed in the dump.
You can then do a $SYNC in the OK code field in the
affected applciation server, but the other
application servers should not be running. After the
$SYNC, the other app servers can be brought up and the
buffers should then be in sync.

The reason is that we upgraded from BW 3.1 to 3.5 by the end of September. We need to know if this has lead to a signifiacant change in the types of dumps we are receiving.

LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST and CONVT_CODEPAGE
Hi Guys! Need very urgent help , may be someone knows this.
In today our Prod. server has gone mad . In sm21 and st22 are many dumps(> 1000 , and new every 3-5 second) and errors like :
LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST and CONVT_CODEPAGE. From users side the T-codes are reset
"The program is changed during performance" (i'm see on russian language,It is a literal translation as I shall see in English I shall tell literally). Any help is rewarded. Regards.Hi Juan Reyes.
Yesterday i can't replay to you, the unknow error are on my browser................
Yes trasport are imported, also the Prepare are start (befor we start Prepare and all ok). In DDXTT we find 460 fields, after some actions we could force will proceed Prepare, (before it's hangs between the phases TOOLIMPD1 and NPREPCRE0 where we can't reset Prepare). All is now good. Thanks and regards. -

Lock ups and dumping psyical memory!!!
Hi i have just installed a new pc most of the stuff im useing is from my old computer so i know they work fine im running a:
P4 3GHZ Prescot 800MHz, HT-Enabled
865PE Neo2-P
512 DDR-400 Twin moss
ATI Radeon 9000 pro
PSU-400
XP Pro
My computer locks up alot when running intense games (games have worked before no problem) i also get a error saying dumping pysical memory, i have looked about and tried to solve this myself, i found that someone was haveing the exact same problem as me and he fixed it by turning the FSB down as his memory wasnt compatable with his motherboard if doing that works how do i do it ?
Many thanks JonathanFlappa, Your memory " clock" is fine and there is no need to "underclock it" as long as you did not mess with the Bios.
I had the same problems. I could not even get thru a Clean install of windows as it would Blue Screen
1- are you running in " Dual Channel Mode"?
2- If so is your memory a " match Set"?
some times memory even thought it has the same markings is not matched . Dual channel sets are matched and made to run together in "Dual Channel Mode"{
( Even though I had the same manufacturer memory my set would not run in Dual Channel without " Blue Screening" I bought a Matched Set of Kingston Valueram and have not had a problem since
3- If it is not a matched set, pull one stick out and run it for a while , if it still bluescreens try the other stick
4- raise your memory voltage to 2.7 or 2.8 ( which ever is the lowest that it runs stable)
5- If all this does not work , run MEMTEST to see if there is a problem with both sticks
6- you are running a Bios Version that supports the " Prescott Microcode" right?
Let us know what your findings are
Good Luck

Short dump 'Table does not exist in database'
Hello All,
When a report is executing it is going to short dump by saying 'Table does not exist in database'. As per the short dump analysis this issue is happening because of the following Native SQL statement statement :
Program : %_T050N0 (This is a dynamic program generating by SAP )
Form Name : DYN_LIC_SEL_TOT
exec sql performing LOOP_MOVE_WRITE_ISAP.
select single_plate, itm_num, ctry_code, model_lot,
lic_hold_flg, qty into :dcat-lplate, :dcat-matnr,
:dcat-werks, :dcat-charg, :dcat-holdflag,
:dcat-qty from ZLICENSE_R2 where itm_num = :p_matnr and
model_lot = :p_charg
endexec.
As per the customer this issue occurring since they migrated the SAP back-end data base from Oralce to DB6. Here I felt that ZLICENSE_R2 is not migrated from the Oracle to DB6. But as per the BASIS Team, even this table was not maintained in Oracle also. If the table was not maintained in the Oracle, this issue should have been there even before migration also.
Following is the short dump details:
Short text
Table does not exist in database.
What happened?
The table or view name used does not
exist in the database.
The error occurred in the current database connection "DEFAULT".
What can you do?
Check the spelling of the table names in your report.
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR', was not
caught in
procedure "DYN_LIC_SEL_TOT" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
Triggering SQL statement: "select single_plate, itm_num, ctry_code, model_lot,
lic_hold_flg, qty from ZLICENSE_R2 where itm_num = ? and model_lot = ? "
Database error code: "-204"
Could you please let me know what might be the reason for this issue.
Many Thanks in Advance.Transaction SE11, input ZLICENSE_R2 for table name, and display the table. Did the table display? If not, that is the main problem.
If the table displays, go to menu item Utilities -> Database Object -> Database Utility
In the resulting screen, under the "Status" fields, you should see text "Exists in the database." If you don't, then the table exists in the dictionary, but doesn't exist in the database system. Click the "Create database table" button and then you should be able to run the program.
You may need basis team's help to carryout some of these actions.
