Dump selective with multi tables and multi querys

Hi all,
I need generate dump from selective query.
Example
TableA
TableB
TableC
I need export TableA and TableB. TableA only record with 'fieldA' > 0 and TableB only record with 'fieldB' < 0. Is it possible?
I try exp command but I have problem with query parameter.
Exp USER/[email protected]:1521/myschema
file="mydump.dmp"
log="myLog.log"
tables=TableA,TableB

i think in normal exp you can not use multiple Query, you have to do it one by one
i.e
exp scott/tiger file=exp_tabel.dmp log=exp_tabel.log tables=emp query=\"WHERE sal \>4000\" statistics=nonewhile you can do it by using the expdp something like this
expdp scott/tiger directory=DATA_DD_DIR dumpfile=exp_tabel.dmp logfile=exp_tabel.log tables=emp,dept query=emp:\"WHERE sal > 4000\", dept:\"where deptno > 20\"What version of db you are using? better to use datapump

Selection groups for tables and header tables

A couple of questions or rather observations around Selection Groups for tables and conversion objectu2026
1) For tables that do not really have a date field, for instance table PDSNR, it appears that you cannot specify a selection group. Consequently, you have to transfer the table in its entirety. Is this something that can be modified via customizing?
2) And what about the header tables, for example, X_ANLC, I have tried but not able to change the selection groups on these objects.

Since you mention you can only filter by date I am assuming you are using TDTIM.
How would you want to filter PDSNR, for example? Would it want to filter all entries >= a given sequence number?
The only way I know to do that is to work directly with the configuration tables. In your case you will need to use CNVMBTSEL* tables. Check how the standard selection groups are configured, and it should not be too difficult to follow the same logic and create your own selection groups.

I'm trying to do a select from two tables and do an insert into a third table from the two resulting columns.
I have the following....

Full Export/Import Errors with Queue tables and ApEx

I'm trying to take a full export of an existing database in order to build an identical copy in another database instance, but the import is failing each time and causing problems with queue tables and Apex tables.
I have used both the export utility and Data Pump (both with partial and full exports) and the same problems are occurring.
After import, queue tables in my schema are unstable. They cannot be dropped using the queue admin packages as they throw ORA-24002: QUEUE_TABLE <table> does not exist exceptions. Trying to drop the tables causes the ORA-24005: must use DBMS_AQADM.DROP_QUEUE_TABLE to drop queue tables error
As a result, the schema cannot be dropped at all unless manual data dictionary clean up steps (as per metalink) are done.
The Apex import fails when creating foreign keys to WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$PART. It creates the table ok, but for some reason the characters after the $ are missing so the referencing tables try to refer to WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ only.
I am exporting from Enterprise Edition 10.2.0.1 and importing into Standard edition 10.2.0.1, but we are not using any of the features not available in standard, and I doubt this would cause the issues I'm getting.
Can anyone offer any advice on how I can resolve these problems so a full import will work reliably?

After digging around MetaLink some more, it sounds like I'm running into Bug 5875568 (MetaLink Note:5875568.8) which is in fact related to the multibyte character set. The bug is fixed in the server patch set 10.2.0.4 or release 11.1.0.6.

Please suggest me how to select from 2 tables and insert the same data into 2 tables. I am successful in selecting data from 2 tables, but i am not able to insert the same data into 2 other tables. There is foreign key constraint between 2 tables.

Help with UPDATE table and database RELATIONSHIPS

HI there, I have been trying to create an update table for
weeks now and keep getting error messages.
The database has a table named:
"books" in the table cells are "idbook" and "book".
"suppliers" in the table cells are "idsupplier" and
"supplierName".
"category" in the table cells are "idcategory" and
categoryName"
They all have a relationships with this table:
"results" in the cells are "idbook", "idsupplier" and
"idcategory".
This "results" table brings all of the above tables together.
When I try to do an update, i am doing one to the results
table. Is this correct?
The updates have problems because when drawing the text to
the update table to view it comes in text form.
When trying to update, it wont becuase all of the cells in
the results table are numeric. This is because of the
relationships.
Can anyone suggest where i may be going wrong.

Selecting from two tables and confirming from them despites they not relate

Please I need a query to select from two tables that are not related to each other.
I also want to confirm data's as in verify wether what the user has entered is in accordance with what is in the tables
Examples
the first table is named "Card" and the second table is named "Student_Details"
Card table contains a column named "Pin_Number".
The Student_Details table contains fields such as Exam_Number, Name, Age, Sex.
The user has to Enter the Pin_Number which has to be confirmed in the Card table and Exam_Number which has to be confirmed in the Student_Details table and verify that both data's are correct.
Please I need the SQL and PL/SQL queries for this problem.

Problem with lookup-table and single quotes

SOA Suite 10.1.3.3. I have an ESB project with an XSLT map that uses orcl:lookup-table to translate values. I use this instead of lookup-dvm because I want non-IT users to manage the mappings without having access to the ESB Console.
According to the doco:-
G.1.79 lookup-table
orcl:lookup-table(table, inputColumn, key, outputColumn, datasource)
This function returns a string based on the SQL query generated from the parameters.
The string is obtained by executing:
SELECT outputColumn FROM table WHERE inputColumn = key
The problem I'm having is that it seems if "key" contains a single quote (i.e an apostrophe), then lookup-table fails to find the corresponding value - even though the value in table.inputColumn also contains the single quote.
I've put the incoming into an XSL variable, but to no avail.

Ok - the above was on the right track but wasn't 100% because it can't handle more than 1 single quote (apostrophe) in the input to lookup-table.
I've since found a better solution - an XSLT re-usable template that operates recursively and so can replace multiple occurances of single quotes. I've modified it to handle a null input value, otherwise lookup-table will just return the value of the first row in the lookup table - doh! The way I've done it below, if null is passed in, then null will be returned.
This goes at the top of your XSLT map file...

Performance issue with XLA tables and GL tables R12

Hi all,
I have one SQL that joins all the XLA tables with GL tables to get invoice related encumbrance data.
My problem is for some reason the SQL is going to GL_LE_LINES first (from explain plane). As
a result my SQL is taking some 25 min to finish.
I am pretty sure if I can manage to force the SQL to use XLA table 1st the SQL will finish in couple of
minutes. I even tried LEADING hint. But, it didn't work.

did you
- check table statistics (have the affected tables been analyzed recently)?
- check explain plan for full table scans? You are using NVL on gjl.entered_dr
and gjl.entered_cr which may lead to a full table scan, as far as i know, there
is no (standard) functional index on both columns.

I am trying to achieve a adf recursive tree with recursive table but relationships are stored in separate table like

I think that you can get this done by defining a VO that fetches all the top level nodes and have a view link to a VO that has all the details with a self recursive viewlink
Query for the top level

Query for the detail level

ViewLink is going to be:
detail.from=master.id

First design your form interface, this is the set of fields that you need to display in your form and create this as a structure in SE11. In your print program code the logic to extract the data into this structure, this is just regular ABAP, nothing special here.
When you have your data call function module SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME to determine the name of the generated smartform function module. Then call this function module, passing the data collected into your structure. If necessary you will need to find the print parameters required and pass these too.
In your smartform you will need to use the data structure you created in SE11 as the smartform interface and design the layout required to display these fields.

Lookup by SQL select in ODS tables and source package

Hi all
I load FI data in ODS and need some extra info from older ODS records.
In my Update rule for target InfoObject I created 2 SQL selects on Active Data and New data tables of ODS. Selects worked fine while testing them as separate program, but I got no data while data load.
I guess, the data I need was in the same data package during data load. So I assume, besides Active/New data selects, I need to check data on SOURCE_PACKAGE. Is it possible on update rule level of InfoObject? Could you please, provide me some ABAP example?

Hello, I'm experimenting a little with pl/sql and I was trying to do some dynamic SQL using DBMS_SQL, but I'm having a problem when binding a variable that is a neste table(got no problems in the same example if I bind with a varchar2 variable).
Here is a reduction of the problem:

STARTED IT, BUT STILL NEED HELP -- INPUTTTING CHARACTERS FROM LOADED FILE INTO TABLE, SELECTING STRINGS FROM TABLE AND PLACING IN NEW TABLE, SAVING NEW TABLE TO SPREADSHEET FILE

I AM TRYING TO IMPORT CHARACTERS FROM A TAB DELIMITED FILE INTO A TABLE ON LABVIEW. ONCE THE DATA IS IN THE TABLE I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SELECT INDIVIDUAL STRINGS FROM THE TABLE AND PLACE IT IN A NEW TABLE. WHEN I CLICK ON A STRING I WOULD LIKE THE SELECTED STRING TO SHOW IN A TEXT BOX LABELED 'SELECTED STEP' AFTER ALL THE SELECTED STRINGS IS IN THE TABLE I WOULD LIKE TO SAVE THE NEW TABLE AS ANOTHER SPREADSHEET -- TAB DELIMITED -- FILE, MAKING IT ACCESSIBLE TO OPEN. HERE IS WHAT I HAVE SO FAR. I CAN INPUT DATA INTO THE TABLE, BUT I CAN ONLY TRANSFER ONE STRING INTO THE TABLE I WOULD LIKE TO BE TO INPUT MULTIPLE STRINGS. ALSO WHENEVER I TRY SAVING THE FILE, IT ALWAYS SAVES A UNKNOWN FILE, HOW CAN I GET IT TO SAVE AS A SPREADSHEET FILE. THANKING ALL OF YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!

The question you are asking is the same one that you asked in: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=132508#M132508, to which I supplied a revised version of the original vi you used (which was modified from the original one I supplied to an earlier thread). A couple of questions: 1) What does my latest not do that is in your question, 2) Why are you starting yet another thread about the same problem? We are here trying to help, it makes it a lot easier if you keep the same problem in the same thread, it reduces duplication of effort from those that might not have been following the previous thread(s). Those of us that don't have our "names in blue" are just doing this "for fun" (the blue names are NI employees, who may still be doing it "for fun"), and it makes it more fun if it doesn't seem (correctly or not) that our attempts are ignored. If an answer doesn't help, or seems incomplete, post a little more detail to the same thread so that the original respondent, or someone new, can provide more information, or understand your problem better.

Who granted select on a table and when?

Hi all,
We are running Oracle 10g. There are some discrepancies with a table between our production versus development environments. The table on development has additional grants and also has a synonym. My boss wants to know who had granted access to this table and when? I am not a DBA. I asked our DBA and he said he didn't think Oracle keeps track of that type of information. Is it possible to track these types of changes? For example who created synonym for this table and when? One more thing to add is that audit has not been turned on.
