Hi Stephan,
unless we don't ask for it, please do not post this much content. This might be suitable for support messages, but not for this forum. There might be situations where you get asked for more information, but a post like this one just scares of anyone who might know an answer.
Also, your thread title does not give any information on your problem, as a "dump when testing web pages" can be anything.
I would suggest to re-state your question, just giving the information that others need.
I haven't worked with CRM, but I wonder if this is a custom application or a shipped one.

  • Do I need to pay $99/year per employee just to test web pages on IOS simulator?

    Hi there, I run a small web development shop with 5 employees. We all bought Xcode through the app store and have been using the iOS simulator to test web pages and troubleshoot problems with our customers sites on iPhones and iPads.
    I just upgraded to Mountain Lion, and it seems I lost my iOS simulator.  I tried to install it through XCode again, and it says I need a developer account, which is $99/year.
    We don't develop apps, we just use the simulator to view websites locally and on the web.  Does this mean if I want all of my employees to be able to just simply use the simulator to view web pages, that I have to pay $500 per year to Apple?  Am I missing something here?  Why could we use the simulator's basic features for free under Snow Leopard, but not under Mountain Lion with the new version of the simulator?
    Please tell me I'm an idiot and am just missing something about how to install it or configure it.  Thanks so much for your help!

    See, I am an idiot.  It was right there.  Somehow I think Alfred lost how to launch the simulator in the update to Mountain Lion. Since I couldn't launch it like I used to, I dug around until I found the Preferences > Downloads screen and had the option to install "iOS 5.0 Simulator" which is when I was prompted to get a developer license.
    I never found the Xcode > Open Developer Tool method of locating it.
    Anyway, thanks so much for your time!

  • With no "lock" or "HTTPS" showing up, how do I know in Safari if an online store is actually using a secure link when their web page makes that claim?

    With no "lock" or "HTTPS" showing up, how do I know in Safari if an online store is actually using a secure link when their web page makes that claim?

    The link in your example - https://www.gmx.com/ - is loading non- secure content from http://themes.googleusercontent.com/
    The lock will display only if everything on the page is secure - in this case it's not.
    As Safari has no way of knowing if theme.googleusercontent.com is going to be transmitting or receiving content that should be encrypted, then the overall page is in no way secure, and as such Safari won't display the lock icon.
    This is correct behaviour - it would be dangerous to users to identify pages as secure when they're clearly not.
    Reloading the page above uses cached copies of the fonts, thus no insecure connection is required on the reload. The issue in the link above (GMX) is not a Safari issue, just really bad web development by whomever built the site and mixed secure and insecure content.

  • Can I set up firefox to notify me when a Web page is updated?

    I want to be notified when a web page is updated, so I do not miss registering for a class. I was told that Google Chrome has the feature. Can Firefox do this?

    I'm not aware of a built-in way to have Firefox check pages for changes, but over the years there have been may add-ons for this. Currently I found:
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/update-scanner/ Update Scanner]
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/check4change/ Check4Change]
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/alertbox/ AlertBox]
    I haven't tried any of these myself.

  • After updating my plugins firefox 5.0.1 still hangs/freezes when loading web pages.

    After making sure my plug-ins were updated, firefox 5.0.1 hangs/freezes when loading web pages.

    I changed the setting, but unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. This situation does seem to occur more, when I load or reload my eBay home page. I noticed that all data and information would go ahead and load, but the random ads bar would not immediately load and when I would left click anywhere on the page, Firefox would temporarily freeze, the page turns white, Firefox not responding will display, and then the banner would load and everything is fine. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my Flash Player. Any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Reggie

  • I have a Belkin bluetooth keyboard attached to my Ipad 3. I would like to know if there is any way to have the arrow keys scroll down when browsing web pages?

    I just got my Ipad 3rd generation a few days ago and for my case I got the bulky BELKIN Bluetooth keyboard. I notice that when I press down the arrow keys it does not seem to scroll down when searching a web browser or looking up web pages. However it works fine when scrolling down on office apps such as Pages. I'm wondering if is there a way to make the arrow keys on the keyboard scroll down when on an internet web page like my Mac does.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Line spacing (leading) when converting web page to PDF with Acrobat Pro 8.1.2

    I recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro version 7.0.9 to version 8.1.2 (Windows XP Pro). In many cases, when I "Convert current web page to an Adobe PDF file" using the Adobe PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer, the spacing between lines is much larger with version 8 than it was with version 7. Has anyone else observed this? Is there any way to control leading?

  • Safari hangs when loading web pages.

    I'm new to the Mac and had my machine less than a week. However, I'm having problems with Safari/Internet. Generally it's fine, but from time to time Safari hangs and it can take a few minutes for it to spring back into life and load the desired web page. It's not the internet itself as I tested it on another device whilst experiencing the problem and could load sites fine. I can only think it's a problem either with some setting in Safari, or with the Mac's WiFi.
    Has anyone experienced the same issue, or more to the point does anyone know how to fix it?

    From the menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab.
    If you have any installed, turn that OFF, quit, relaunch Safari to test.
    Try Safari > Preferences - Privacy. Click Remove All Website Data. Quit, relaunch Safari to test.
    If you installed anti virus software, disable that.
    If you installed any Safari third party add ons, follow the instructions here > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
    And try deleting the cache.db file.
    Quit Safari.
    Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safar/Cache.db
    Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch Safari.

  • When a web page opens a link in a new window, the new page/window is always blank and all i can do is click on the x in the top right corner to get rid of the page

    everytime i click on a link on a webpage that is supposed to open in a new window, the new window is always just a blank white window/page

    Is there a way for me to determine where on my desktop the new web pages open when I click on links?
    Not sure if that can be done but you can press the Expose   key which will show all open windows.

  • How does the browser "show-the-user" when a web page is SECURE?

    Whenever I use Firefox I end up filling out a secure form.
    ...however...
    The browser never SHOWS ME that the page IS SECURE.
    All other browsers I have ever used, IE, Opera, Netscape all show the user when they are viewing a secured web page. I need to see that the connection is secure before sending sensitive info.
    anyone?

    The area to the left of the address (green, blue, or plain) shows the type of security offered by the site. More info:
    [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Site%20Identity%20Button Site Identity Button | How to | Firefox Help]
    For example, this site has a blue identity area (SSL encryption but not identity verification).
    There is an add-on you can use if you prefer seeing a lock:
    [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/padlock-icon/ Padlock :: Add-ons for Firefox]
    I haven't tried it myself.

  • Blue block when opening web page

    what is the blue block when opening some web pages? Can the page be opened?

    I think you're referring to a symbol that appears when you try to open a page that uses something like Flash or WMP that the Touch can't render.
    It MAY change with software 2.0 coming in July, but we don't know.
    For now, no.

  • Error when testing web service

    Hello,
    I published a web service in the Service Registry, and now I am attempting to test it out in the Web Services Navigator.  Unfortunately when I click on the web service from the search results I get the following error:

    Hi ethan,
    I guess problem with SLD/SR. Did you complete SLD & SR configuration steps?
    Please see it: http://<host>:<port>/nwa -> Configuration Management -> Scenarios -> Configuration Wizard.

  • This is dumb: Videos won't play unless I disable Realplayer in ALL browsers. This means I simply won't use Firefox anymore except to test web pages. Wow, IE is

    I tried disabling the Download video feature in RealPlayer Plus just for just Firefox. videos still will not play. The only way they will play is if I disable the feature for ALL browsers. I have found this to be true on multiple computers and other people have experienced this as well. I can deal with it if Firefox has trouble with RealPlayer, a product I paid for, but why do they care what I use in other browsers? This is unacceptable. Especially since there are all kinds of cheap extensions that do the same thing as RealPlayer but not as well. See ya -- for testing purposes only from now on. My web sites will all note works best with anything BUT Firefox.

    Hi nomadsjangle,
    <u>'''Short answer,'''</u> downgrade to Flash 10.3, Firefox should then work ok, and hopefully RealPlayer will be fully functional.<br/>For instructions see [[flash 11.3 crashes]]
    Sorry you are having problems. I am not sure why you decided to blame Firerfox for this problem.
    If you pay for and install RealPlayer why do you blame Firefox when you need to uninstall it to play video ? Why not blame RealPlayer, FlashPlayer, or even another browser!
    This is a known issue and developers from Firefox, Flash and Realplayer have been involved with this for a few weeks. There have been a few changes in that time but no full solution that suits everyone is available, or likely in the immediate future AFAIK.
    I suspect your problem is due to the fact that FlashPlayer 11.3 introduced a security feature known as ''protected mode''. (Flash 11.3 may also have other issues with Firefox) RealPlayer (certainly the versions current when Flash11.3 was released) has problems with this. Real player is or was causing problems with use of Flash to view videos on Firefox with Flash 11.3.
    Note FlashPlayer will be installed on the Operating System as a plugin, and may be used by more than one browser (although it needs different software for IE).
    Downgrade Flash to 10.3 then if you still have problems post back, confirm the Flash Player version you have now,and the RealPlayer version.
    Note
    * if you use the Adobe uninstaller you may need to reinstall FlashPlayer on IE
    * take care not to follow advice from plugincheck FlashPlayer etc to upgrade to the latest version, until this issue is resolved.
    * this is a temporary solution, you should upgrade again once this is resolved.

  • SAP Short Dumps when generating BSP page

    While generating my BSP page a short dump occurs saying that there is too much code basically. (more then 10,000 ABAP statments). This happens on my LAYOUT section of the screen and the weird thing is that I only have 2145 lines of code.
    A little background is that we are displaying a tab strip with 8 tabs and many fields on each tab.  The user has a few more rules for displaying data but I'm finding that I can't add anymore code.  Has anyone found a way around this?

    Its not too difficult.  From your view that houses the tabstrip container, you just go ahead and call all the controllers for your individual tabs.
    <phtmlb:containerTabStrip id                    = "TabStrip3"
                                      collapsed             = "<%= application->T3_COLLAPSED %>"
                                      collapsible           = "TRUE"
                                      firstVisibleItemIndex = "1"
                                      hasContentConnector   = "TRUE"
                                      maxVisibleItems       = "5"
                                      onCollapse            = "myCollapse"
                                      scrollableItems       = "TRUE"
                                      selectedIndex         = "<%= application->SELECTED_chart2 %>" >
              <phtmlb:containerTabStripItem id    = "C1"
                                            title = "<OTR>Hours History</otr>" >
                <phtmlb:containerContentItem>
                  <bsp:call url     = "Chart1.do"
                            comp_id = "c1" />
                </phtmlb:containerContentItem>
              </phtmlb:containerTabStripItem>
              <phtmlb:containerTabStripItem id    = "C2"
                                            title = "<OTR>Project Hours Chart</otr>" >
                <phtmlb:containerContentItem>
                  <bsp:call url     = "Chart2.do"
                            comp_id = "c2" />
                </phtmlb:containerContentItem>
              </phtmlb:containerTabStripItem>
              <phtmlb:containerTabStripItem id    = "C3"
                                            title = "<OTR>6 week History</otr>" >
                <phtmlb:containerContentItem>
                  <bsp:call url     = "Chart3.do"
                            comp_id = "c3" />
                </phtmlb:containerContentItem>
              </phtmlb:containerTabStripItem>
            </phtmlb:containerTabStrip>
    I then handle the event for the tabstrip change and put the current selected tab into an application class variable or a model class variable.

            appl->selected_chart2 = event1->event_server_name.

    Next in each controller at the start start of processing of the controller I just do a check to make sure that I an in the currently selected tab.  If not, I perform not controller logic, which in turn doesn't call in application logic from my model class or make a call to any view.
