Dv5t HDD issue?? Computer stops unexpectedly! URGENT!

Hey all. I have 6-7 months old dv5t model. It runs on win7 62bit with core 2 duo processor and together with hitachi model 250gb hdd. A few days ago, while I was streaming a video on youtube, it repeated a noise and stopped working. No mouse, no ctrl+alt+del, nothing. Only last screen and the noise. I had to force turn off. I tried to turn on the pc, it showed a black screen, no post and etc.. After several tries later, it ran again. But while I was showing webcam on MSN, it stopped again. It is repeating it every time.
Previously, I had downloaded program together with trojans and my avg cleaned it. What are my options here?
Thanks beforehand!
P.S. i tried to run HDD test using its own, it stops unexpectedly there too.

thanks for replies, I've been trying different things with this problem... once it passed self hdd test, then it ran a full hdd test and hung, next time it didn't even pass the quick hdd test...it always passes RAM test without any problem.. I was told it might be problem of cooling... such as overheating...i tried to ran a ventilator(lol) and it still didn't help..but it was when it passed quick hdd test also. ill call hp asap...thanks...

  • SQL Server service stopped unexpectedly event ID 7034

On one of UAT server we are having  issue with SQL Serverices and they are stopped unexpectedly .There is failure details  in Event logs \SQL Error logs. we havent done any of the changes on server.
    Event id : 7034

    Hi,
so late but still, any solution you got or still  waiting for that?
Are you able to check os\sql logs and find out anything which may appear that causing and putting a cascading effect on the services?
Also you can add some more attempts for the services to try like below:
    Change the recovery actions
To resolve this issue, change the recovery actions that the Service Control Manager (SCM) will take when a service fails.
To perform this procedure, you must have membership in
Administrators, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.
To change the recovery actions for a service:
Open the Services snap-in by clicking the
Start button, Control Panel, and Administrative Tools, then double-clicking
    Services.
Note: For Windows Vista, use the
Classic View display option in Control Panel to see the
    Administration Tools.
In the details pane of the
Services snap-in, right-click on the name of the service you want to stop and select
    Properties.
Click the Recovery tab and specify the recovery actions for the service (for example, restart the service or the computer, take no action, or run a program).
It will be  good to share any logs around the time it fails.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Hello FM-Paris,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your Mac mini.  I would be concerned too if my Mac mini was restarting unexpectedly.  I recommend following the steps in the section titled "Troubleshooting a recurring kernel panic" in the article below to help isolate and troubleshoot this issue:
OS X: When your computer spontaneously restarts or displays "Your computer restarted because of a problem."

  • LS Communication Server Service Stopping unexpectedly

I have a 2008 R2 Server where the LS communication Server Service is stopping unexpectedly. It's restarting ok it seems, but the issue is resulting in the server not working as intended.
The service usually shows as Running in the Services Management Console. However if you watch it in Task Manager you can see it stopping and then restarting. It does this every minute or so.
In the event log I can see the following 7031 Event over and over. Not sure how to fix this one though

Do you see any related events in Event Viewer > Applications and Services Logs > Lync server?
What version of Lync is installed? Is it Enterprise or Standard?
Note: If you find a post informative, please mark it so using the arrow to the left. If it answers a question you have asked, please mark the thread as answered to aid others when they are looking for solutions to similar problems or queries.
The opinions expressed here are solely my own and do not express the views or opinions of my employer.
There is no Lync Server section under Applications and Services Logs. There is an LS Applications, however there aren't any events underneath it.
From what I can tell, Lync isn't installed on this server. The LS Communication Server service along with 3 other LS services (Config Download Service, Linkage Server, & PTZ Tour Server). The role of this server is that of an HVR. It's designed to interface
with video recording devices and record that video. It's unable to do so.

  • Message on C8100: The process "usb" stopped unexpectedly with status 81. What should I do?

Our C8100 printer has worked well with our wireless setup for a few years.  It is now not printing from any of our home computers (wireless is working fine on these Mac's).  I've already turned off both computers and printer, waiting a few minutes and turned them back on.
Message on computer screen -- The process "usb" stopped unexpectedly with status 81.  What does this mean?

Yes it is a photosmart C6380 all in one
You are lucky. That model gives you an option not offered on cheaper printers.
You could abandon the USB connection completely and use ethernet to print. That model has, in addition to USB, an ethernet (or "network") port and wireless connectivity. Wireless can be flaky but ethernet is an amazing way to print--faster and more stable that using USB. The port should should be just above or below the USB port.
If your computer is already connected to the internet via ethernet, you can get an inexpensive ethernet router to create enough ports. The router goes between your modem and the computer gear. One router port is usually marked "WAN" and is where you connect an ethernet cable going from the modem. The router will have several other ports marked "LAN" that those connect yo you computer equipment.
You are basically splitting one ethernet line into several. If you have only the iMac and the HP printer, each one would connect to its own LAN port and you can print without USB issues. Normally setting up a wired router takes no software and no tweaking on your part. You connect the wires and it's running.
Here's a start on learning about home networking. In teh picture, what's labeled "gateway" is the router.

  • The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly..........

i think some apps may have gotten accidentally deleted by my son. my contacts are gone and it's also saying the application google services framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.
my phone will not sync when i press the phone button to call out it shows- sorry. the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.
please help....i don't know how to fix it.

Tamsmadd, I can certainly assist you with the issues on your device. Are your contacts backed up to Google? Try logging into your Gmail account on your browser or computer to verify. First, try clearing cache/data from your Gmail application. If it is still not working after that then I suggest a factory reset. This resets the phone to factory default settings and will erase everything on the phone that is not on the SD card. Your pictures, videos, music are saved to the SD card by default on the Incredible 2.

Well, you're not using position:absolute, so you've got a big thumbs up from a bunch of us for that.
Is there any chance you could post a link to this page on your server? It's much easier to troubleshoot from a browser than it is to rebuild the page from code fragments.
If you haven't gone live with the page yet, create a folder called TEST in your site and save copies of the page and css there. Upload TEST and post a link to it here. Once the problem is found/fixed, delete TEST from the server.
You can also attempt to use Firefox or Chrome to find your issue by right clicking > Inspect Element. All CSS that affects a given element will be displayed with file name and line numbers there.

    Hi Philip,
I can feel like few of the heavy webi reports in your environment causing webi processing server down.
    1) first we need to find which reports are causing the issue.
    2) Enable monitoring to know the failure status of WIPC by email
    3) Try to enable audit and capture the reports which are consuming more data and running when WIPS moved to stopped state
Then you will come to know the report with help of audit .
I have noticed the similar issue and noticed few reports which are retrieving more no of records and More no input cantrols in the report caused WIPS down.

  • Recently my computer stops recognizing anything Bluetooth or USB related (wireless or plugged in) after a few minutes of computer use.

Recently my computer stops recognizing anything Bluetooth or USB related (wireless or plugged in, mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.) after a few minutes of use. I don't know if it's related, but recently I upgraded my iMac g5 (2005) from OSX 10.4 to Leopard 10.5 (I was told though, that my computer can handle the upgrade by Apple personelle). Also, I had the model that was released with a faulty power supply, but Apple fixed that problem for me a couple of years ago. My fan is also pretty loud (but has been for some time) and my computer takes longer to boot that it used to (this is a recent issue). I mention all of this in case there's a chance it's connected to the same problem. Any suggestions?

  • Cold Fusion service stops unexpectedly

With Cold Fusion MX 7.0.2, the service stops unexpectedly. In
doing this, the WWW service stops, as well. I have not found a
thing reagrding this problem. This has been happening for a while,
and on serveral of my servers. We run Windows 2000 with IIS4.0.
Adobe seems to not have a clue, which really bothers me.

You need to find out what is going on as your server stops or
hangs. First, confirm that coldfusion has really stopped. Turn on
the internal JRun webserver on one of your servers. Next time the
site 'stops', try to connect to coldfusion administrator using the
    internal webserver -
    http://localhost:8500/cfide/administrator/index.cfm.
If this connection works, then CFMX is actually still running. So,
then it would appear your issue is IIS or the connector between IIS
and CFMX. Confirm you are running the latest connector. Check the
    connector logs.
If cfmx has truly stopped there are several things to do:
    check the cfusionmx7\logs. Does the
application or server log show lots of errors just prior to the
stoppage. Is the application log full of errors - clean them
    up.
    check the cfusionmx7\runtime\logs for
errors, especially just prior to the stoppage
    Run
    thread dump - is there
a common template running in each of your traces during your
    hangs
What is your technical support incident number with Adobe? I
will be glad to work with that engineer. Email me your incident
    information directly.

  • Premiere Pro Continues to Stop Unexpectedly

I have imported several hours of footage & audio for a feature film. The media didn't have a lot of metadata so I am manually adding the date on the front of the name of each file so relinking will be easier incase media goes offline during the project. In the "Shot" collumn I am labeling each shot after referencing the slate. Pr CS6 continues to shut down unexpectedly. Each time I open it back up it recovers all changes - even if I hadn't saved for a while.
Yesterday I turned of the AutoSave (I save every few minutes as a habbit anyway) and that helped for the rest of the day. Today the problem has come back...I sure hope this isn't somewhere else in another discussion, I couldn't find it though. Thank you for your time and help!

Sorry guys, I'm still learning. Thank you all for the links and help.
    UPDATED INFO:
My Problem: As I label media in the "Shot" column (see graphic) Premiere Pro continues to stop unexpectedly (see graphics for error messages). Each time I open the project again it recovers all changes made - even if I haven't saved for a while.
    My Hardware: iMac 21.5-inch, Mid 2010 | 3.6 GHz Intel Core i5 | 16 GB 13333 MHz DDR3 | ATI Radeon HG 5670 512 MB | 4 TB G-RAID G-Technology HD as scratch disk, 3.57 TB available,  Firewire800 connection
My Software & Media: OS X 10.8.2 | Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Version 6.0.2 | 295 GB of Footage Stills & Audio imported into Pr project | FOOTAGE: AVCHD 1080p, 23.976fps, square pixel, and I believe 4:2:0 8-bit 24mbps, 1 track of 48kHz stereo audio - shot on Panasonic af100 | STILLS: 1920x1080 .JPG screenshots taken with af100 | AUDIO: stereo 48kHz .wav files recored on Zoom H1 and Tascam DR-40
What I've already attempted: The crashes seemed to occur shortly after each time Pr Autosaved so I turned that function off (I manually save often as a habit). The problem ceased for half a day. The next day it came back. At the same time I was unable to download the Photoshop & Camera RAW updates (that seemed to be an internet connection issue). While rushing around in plugging/unplugging hard drives to manually save/backup the Pr files I accidentally unplugged the G-RAID - permanently corrupting the Pr project with no backup. I decided to update to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, have a beer and watch a movie (heartbroken after loosing three days of label and organizing). Next day I updated to Mt Lion and the Ps & Cam RAW updates downloaded & installed smoothly (after restarting the wifi router). I deleted all unnecessary files/apps on my iMac. With everything cleaned out & updated I created a new Pr project. The media imported and conformed smoothly. Once I started labeling the files in the "Shot" column again, Premiere Pro crashed again wight he same error notice. I can keep going for now but this problem slows things down quite a bit.

  • Computer stopped when downloading, Can't download my purchases. PLEASE HELP

Having purchased some songs and videos the computer stopped and I had to restart. Checking my purchase history tells me I have 54 songs to be downloaded, when I try to download them it says itunes store is unavailable, any purchases I have made since download no problem, I am left with these songs which I am unable to do anything with. Does anyone know what to do? How do download these.

Doesn't any any one at Apple care that it has been at least 5 days and no one has replied to the support email that I sent about the download issue that I have? Especially when one has almost 60 things to download. No one even replies in this forum. No one cares about the customer.

  • FCP stopped unexpected

    Hi,
I'm using Compressor to render my movies. It's connected to a Xserve to share the power of the Xserve and my iMac. If I want to use the cluster for my Compressor render it quits with the message "Final Cut Pro Stopped unexpected". I select everything in FCP, then sent it to Compressor. If I'm using the local computer (iMac) it's all fine.
Does anyone know this error? I'm trying to find out what I did wrong and how to get it right. Sadly, no results so far. One thing: I did change the Cluster Storage setting on the Xserve to a share folder. Might that be the problem? Me is been told that the 'Cluster Storage' should be on a shared folder for the local computer and cluster work together.
I hope you guys can help me out with this.

Reinstalled all the software on both computers. It's running smoothly now.
