Dynamic Content in webdynpro table

All,
I have a special requirement with web dynpro table.
I am developing a dynamic search  interface to search records from tables.
So the table has to be built in such a way that if choose column type of Date then the value column should show a date picker.I want to build a table dynamically as follows.
Header : Column Type -
Operator ---  Value  -
Row 1 :   StartDate            =              (Date Picker)
Row 2 :   FirstName           =              Input Field
Is this possible?
thanks

  • Copy contents from Webdynpro Table to Clipboard

    I have a requirement, wherein the contents from the table UI in Webdynpro, in an SRM system, have to be copied to a clipboard. The class CL_PERS_ADMIN->SET_DATA is the hint given for the same.
    Not sure how it works or how to implement this!?!
    Have gone through Web dynpro Selectoption: upload from clipboard and as per Harald's comment have also enabled 'Allow Programmatic clipboard access' in IE.
    Please advice.

    Take for example, if Excel file contains 4 fields,
    Add jxl.jar to JavaBuild path and Use this snippet
    File f=new File("sample.xls");
    Workbook w=Workbook.getWorkbook(f);
    Sheet sh=w.getSheet(0);
    int cols=sh.getColumns();
    int rows=sh.getRows();

  • Adding pagination in report build from PL/SQL dynamic content using htp.p

    Hi,
    I have a requirement for which i used PL/SQL dynamic content to build my report and i displayed my report using a cursor and loop by HTP.P function.
    Now problem is I have report with more than 500 rows and I want to add pagination concept for this report.
    How can i do that?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Smith

    To preserve heading on each page for a HTML table you can use the THEADER, TFOOTER and TBODY tags (see example). To force page breaks, try experimenting with these style attributes:
    <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
         tr.breakhere {page-break-before: always}
    </STYLE>
    <tr class="breakhere">Table Example:
    htp.tableopen;
    htp.print('<THEAD style="display:table-header-group">');
    ... your table headers here
    htp.print('</THEAD>');
    htp.print('<TFOOT style="display:table-footer-group"><TR><TD></TFOOT>');
    htp.print('<TBODY>');
    ... your rows here
    htp.print('</TBODY>');
    htp.tableclose;Edited by: crokitta on Apr 8, 2009 2:07 PM

  • DataGrid Not Resizing to Dynamic Content

    Hello,
    I'm using Flex 3.2. I have an editable DataGrid with no with
    and height specified. I do specify rowCount to something like
    rowCount="dataProvider.length". Everything looks good when the
    datagrid is first rendered with data in it. However, if the data in
    it changes after rendering, then the grid doesn't resize
    accordingly. Actually the grid may resize, but the border/frame
    doesn't.
    Example:
    I have a special TextArea component that grows (vertically)
    as the user types in more lines of text. I use this component as
    one of my item editors. If a cell is first rendered with only one
    line of text, then the user goes in and types additional lines, the
    grid row grow within it's border, but the not the border itself...
    causing some undesired scrollbars.
    I need a way to tell the datagrid to re-calibrate sizing just
    like it does when it's first created. Is there a way to do this? I
    tried datagrid.invalidateSize() and related procedures, but nothing
    happens. What do you think?
    Thanks

  • How to scroll the contents of the table without scrolling tab/colmn headers

    how to scroll the contents of the table without scrolling table and column headers in WebDynPro.
    I have set the table properties as
    footer visible = false;
    Visible row count = -1;
    and have put the table into scroll container with some specified height.
    I dont want to use the footer as I have used many tables in the container in same row and with same <b>Data node</b>.
    I have used many tables in same row and with same context node to differentiate it with two different colors for that specific columns.
    I am using <b>NW 04</b> and not NW04s.
    Please help me regarding this.

    To print the whole data of your table you have to do it yourself. The showPrintablePageBehavior only print what you actually see on the page. It does not traverse the data.
    The normal way to handle tis is to use a report generator (like itext, jasper report, fop ...).

    Hello... I have an problem. I want programm an static design and and static menue, but the content must be dynamic. I know how it work with frames, but how does it work with an site only with tables... like this:
    http://www.galaxy-news.de/
    The menu is static but the content is dynamic and is work without frames.. But how? In the faces-config.xml is just an frame value:
    <navigation-case>
    <from-outcome>ok_next</from-outcome>
    <to-view-id>/masterDetail.jsp</to-view-id>
    </navigation-case>
    How does it work without frames. Here an example what I mean. It is an site with JSF without frames, but static design and dynamic content:

    Thanks for help

    <select name="gallerySelect" id="gallerySelect" onchange="dsGalleries.setCurrentRowNumber(this.selectedIndex);" spry:repeatchildren="dsGalleries" spry:choose="choose">

            <option spry:default="default">{sitename}</option>
          </select>
    If i understand you correctly you want to use links, instead of a select.. You can do it like this:
    <ul spry:repeatchildren="dsGalleries">
         <li><a href="#{ds_RowNumber}" onclick="dsGalleries.setCurrentRowNumber(this.href.replace(/\#/g,''));">{sitename}</a></li>

    The easiest (and best) way to "display rows" is using a report. Dynamic PL/SQL regions are more complex and are required much less frequently.
    The Oracle® Database 2 Day + Application Express Developer's Guide tutorial explains how to create reports and other basic APEX techniques.

  • Mixing static and dynamic content in a single outputText value causes NPEs

    I am having a problem and I'm wondering if it is a result of my error or if this is a bug.

              /><h:outputText escape="false" value='" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />' />So is the problem that I am mixing dynamic and static content with a single value? If so, why does it work on the first view, and not after?
    If it matters, I'm using the reference implementation version 1.1 (as included with NetBeans 5.5RC2) on SuSE 10.0 w/ JDK 1.5_09.
    Thanks,

    Yes, that's how I originally had it, but then changed it to the outputText approach since a single tag could do what I wanted, as long as I was allowed to mix static and dynamic content within a single value.
    I think this is a bug in JSF 1.1, since if what I am doing is illegal, it should throw an exception on the first page view, not work on first view and throw an exception on subsequent views. I'm guessing that this has something to do with the fact that on first page view it only runs the restore view and render response JSF phases, while on subsequent requests all of the phases will be run, and it's in one of those other phases that the exception is thrown.
    For now, multiple tags is the work-around, I guess.
    Thanks,
    Bill

  • Dynamic poplist in a table not working..Any help here is appreciated

    I've a Search Region which renders a table based results region.
    The table has 2 poplists. One dependent on the other.
    I've PPR attached to the first poplist on which the second is dependent.
    I've the following code in the process request
    OATableBean peerTable = (OATableBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("ResultsTable");
    OAMessageChoiceBean peerVP1 = (OAMessageChoiceBean)peerTable.findIndexedChildRecursive("Peer1");
    if (peer1 != null)
    peer1.setListVOBoundContainerColumn(0,peerTable,"Type");
    I've a VO which gets executed when the poplist value changes based on the PPR action.
    However when I first render the page the second poplist shows all values and changing values in poplist one results in an error.
    Any working example on dynamic poplist on a table will greatly help. I've gone through the earlier threads on this topic but none of the suggestions there solve my issue.
    Thanks

    Pg Definition:
    QueryRN for Search Page.
    Results of the search displayed in a table with id 'ResultsTable'
    The Table has many messageStyled Tests and 2 poplists.
    Poplist1 is rendered based on One VO: This VO queries data from lookup.
    Has the Picklist View Def defined having the whole directory structure with dots and the Vo name.
    Picklist View Instance: Given the instance name
    Picklist Display Attribute: Meaning
    Picklist Value Attribute: LookupCode
    Action Type: firePartialAction
    Event: poplist_update
    Poplist2 values should be dependent on the above poplist:
    It has the Picklist View Def, Picklist Display Attribute and Picklist Value Attribute.
    There is no value specified for Picklist View Instance.
    Code in Controller:
    Process Request:
    OATableBean pTable = (OATableBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("ResultsTable");
    OAMessageChoiceBean peer1 = (OAMessageChoiceBean)pTable.findIndexedChildRecursive("Peer1");
    if (peer1 != null)
    peer1.setListVOBoundContainerColumn(0,pTable,"Type");
    Process Form Request:
    if ("poplist_update".equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
    OAMessageChoiceBean type = (OAMessageChoiceBean)pTable.findIndexedChildRecursive("Type");
    String test = (String)type.getValue(pageContext);
    Serializable[] parameters = { test };
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    am.invokeMethod("PoplistRenderer",parameters);
    Code in AMImpl
    public void PoplistRenderer(String bindVar)
    PeerTestVOImpl peerVO = getPeerTestVO();
    PeerTypeVOImpl typeVO = getPeerTypeVO();
    //String bindVar = "AE";
    if (peerVO == null)
    MessageToken[] errTokens = { new MessageToken("OBJECT_NAME", "PeerTestVO") };
    throw new OAException("AK", "FWK_TBX_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND", errTokens);
    peerVO.initQuery(bindVar);
    VO Query:
    select person_id, full_name, type
    from mvl_peer_test
    Code in VOImpl
    public void initQuery(String type)
    setWhereClause("TYPE = :1");
    setWhereClauseParams(null); // Always reset
    setWhereClauseParam(0, type);
    executeQuery();
    } // end initQuery()
    The first time the search is conducted, the 2nd poplist shows all values. So the initial bind itself does no seem to work okay.
    When I try to change the value of the first poplist, i get this error:

  • Dynamic creation of internal table based on alv layout

    Hi experts!!
    I have the following request from my client:
    I am displaying an alv report and i need to download it in txt format based on the columns showed in the current layout (i.e. if the user chooses to hide some columns, then they should not appear in the txt file ). In the alv i am using the Function Modules of the alv and not ABAP Objects.
    I thought of dynamically creating the internal table, but i am not sure how to do it.
    I also thaught of creating an internal table with only one field with the maximum length, but how can i check which fields are diplayed, and how can i get their values??
    Please Help!!
    Thank u in advance!!!

    After call the above said function module you will get the exporting table for field catalog ie
              call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_LAYOUT_INFO_GET'
                importing
                  es_layout     = ls_slis_layo
                  et_fieldcat   = lt_slis_fcat
    if you check the lt_slis_fcat internal table if the field are hide in the layout by the user then in this internal table check for field NO_OUT will X.
    Take the fields where NO_OUT ne X
    then for creating dynamic internal table
      field-symbols :  <ptab>  type standard table.
      call method cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
        exporting
          it_fieldcatalog =  lt_slis_fcat
        importing
          ep_table        = i_content.
      if sy-subrc = 0.
        assign i_content->* to <ptab>.
      else.
        write: 'Error creating internal table'.
