Dynamic creation of selection screen by using POWL-Personal Object Work Lis

Hi Expert,
I am using POWL to display Report.For that there is one selection screen and once the user press enter a report will display.
In this case i am desiging the selection screen but not able to Hide/Display fields on the basis of user action on the selection screen input/Drop down selection.
Can u plz tell me how i can handle redesigning of selestion screeen depending on user interaction.

Also there is a check box in the selection screen,if the user check that check box then 2 fields in ALV will not display otherwise it will display.

Create a program with name 'Z_13317_DYN_CHKBOX' and paste the following code in it. Also make ensure that an include with name 'Z_13317_DYN_INCL' is not existing earlier because this program will be overwritten each and everytime.
Z_13317_DYN_CHKBOX will take an integer as an input. After giving input, click on the button on selection screen.
Suppose, if you have given 3 as input and if you have clicked the button, then 3 checkboxes will be generated on your selection screen.

Selection screen value use as a header SQ01

Can anybody please tell me how to pick the values from the selection screen and use them as a header in SAP Query sq01

For this first you nedd to decalre the selection screens in infoset level.Means
1. Goto SQ02 -
Press Extras button--> Selections->Create>Popup will get display>Name(Ex: S_matnr))->Enter and select radio button Select options or parameters->Give description and Short text (it will display as label name for selection screen elemnts)

Move these extras fields to field groups and select those in SQ01 for output.

one of the methods i heard frm my frnds was to use                   ->cl_gui_picture_viewer
but as a begginer i am not tht comfortable with classes .So is there a way around to display icons on my selection screen without using classes .

How to use table field values as dynamic parameters on selection screen

Hi,
I need help on dynamic selection parameters.
I need to display no. of parameters from the fields of a database table.
Basically i want to pass field values of a table to selection screen and we can use those values as parameter on selection screen.
If there are 10 entries in a table field( say field is field_name and entries are bukrs,kunnr etc.)
I need to display as many parameters on screen as many values are there in field_name( In this case it is 10)

How to retrieve values from Dynamic Selection screen while using LDB - PSJ

I am having problem in PSJ Logical database. In a custom report which is using PSJ LDB, we are using PROJ and PRPS_R tables.
When I run program it displays one dynamic selection screen, there we are giving selection criteria for PRPS (Master data WBS element) - Created on (giving some range like 2011/01/01 to 2011/01/31).
So I want to display all WBS element which are created during the period (2011/01/01 - 2011/01/31).
How do I retrieve the select-option low and high value of the field Created on Of WBS element if we Select data from any table based on this condition.

Dynamic fields creation on selection screen

Good evening everybody!
I've got the following problem for solving:
Imagine the following situation:
on the selection-screen there are some input fields in one line and a button after them. By pressing that button (e.g. it's name is "Add line") the same fields should be duplicated so many times as many times that button pressed. By pressing another button (e.g. it's name is "Delete line") one last line should be deleted. The mechanism is similar to adding lines in a screen table. What is the solution of this problem?
So: by pressing an "Add line" button on a screen identical fields should be created on the same selection-screen and deleted by pressing "Delete line".

Mapping function module paramters dynamically with a selection screen

Hi Experts,
I got a situation,
i am maintaining data of a function module paramters in a dictionary table.
in the screen pbo i will fetch the the fm data from that table into the internal table(ITAB).
in my report screen i am having the selection screen and the selection screen parameters are also mentioned in the FM Dictionary Table, we are having the those details in our internal table (ITAB).
now the issue is how to call the FM by using the ITAB values.
example: ITAB
fmname parametr type str_name ss_field
get_notif im_notif import qmnum s_notif
here s_notif[ ] is having the values in it which is nothing but selection screen parameter.
and we are having S_NOTIF as a string values in the ITAB.
now how can i link this S_notif(type string) to s_notif(value of notification) ?
what i have done is ,
 loop at itab into wa_itab where type = 'import'.
 case wa_itab-parameter.
 when 'IM_NOTIF'. " for example im dealing with only one parameter this can have many
 get reference of S_NOTIF[ ] to v_notif.

Dynamic text in selection screen

Hi all,
I have one requirement in selection screen. I have a parameter and one pushbutton in selection screen .
To the right side of the parameter, i need to display the text based on some manipulation in a internal in the program.
If I click on the pushbutton in selection screen , manipulations will be done in the program in a internal table. if the result is ok i need to display the text in the right side of the parameter otherwise no need to display.
How can I achieve this.

AT selection-screen ON PARAMETER of the Button.
So when pressed on button, that code will do some process and the result will be displayed.

Restrict selection screen when using logical Database(HR ABAP)

Hi,
 I'm using PNP logical Database in my
 report program. I want to restrict the deafult
 selection screen.
 Pls suggest me if knows.

if you don't use the NODE or TABLE statement pnp selection screen will not come.
other wise use screen number 900 which have fever fields and you can make the invisible using
loop at screen.

Selection screen while using PNP

Dear Freinds,
I have one question relating to logical database PNP. If i use the logical databasePNP we willget the default screen with fields PERNR,EmploymentStatus,CompanyCode , Payroll area etc. But i can see that for the above feilds i will
not get the range but i will geting the parameters.
Could any body let me know how i can make on the selection
screeen for the pernr, company code etc select-options so that the user can enter the pernr , company code range on the selection screen.

Hi syamala,
from release 4.5 on the decision was not to have LOW and HIGH fields on the standard screen but only the LOW.
But by simply clicking on the white arrow behind you should be able to enter ranges.
If something is entered the system shows a green arrow.

Need to skip the variable selection screen when using dropdown

Hello Friends,
I have created a web template having a dropdown, a table and a text element. Basically I am trying to follow the guide "How to Use a Dropdown Box to Set Variable Values". It shows how to select values for a variable using dropdown.

What is happening is when I select a value for the variable in the dropdown, the correct url is getting formed but instead of displaying the report using the selected value, the variable selection screen appears. Given below is the url that gets formed:

Thanks for your reply. This has partially resovled the issue. I have awarded you points for that. Now I am able to skip the variable screen.
However, the query results are not getting refreshed. I wanted to restirct the values based on the value given in the variable selection (In my case the dropdown box). Somehow I am not able to link the dropdown with the variable or the "SAPBWOpenURL(url);" function is having some issues.

Problem in passing selection screen values using CALL TRANSACTION.

I am facing problem in transfering selection screen values to the called transaction. I am trying to pass the path of the transaction filer but to no avail. The variable for filepath is not empty.
Below is my code:

I think you have entered wrong main program for tcode 'FF_5' and wrong screen field for the file name. Use the below code instead of yours.
