Dynamic deployment doesn't work

when I redeploy my app.war file...I would get a "Error 404 Not Found" when
accessing
anything within the war file.
why doesn't dynamic deployment work?
anytime I make a change to my jsp...and redeploy...I end up having to
shutdown and restart the WLS6.0
before I can get access to the jsp again.
please help...thanks.

could you please specify the following:
are you deploying the war file through the applications directory or do you
configure the web Application through the console ?
also, what are the steps you follow for reploying the war file ?

  • Inserting dynamic image doesn't work for range of records

    Hi,
    I'm using BI Publisher 5.6.3 and E-business Suite 12.1.3.
    I have set up my RTF template so that it brings in a logo image dynamically onto an invoice.
    The code in the "alt text" field behind my dummy image is: url:{concat('${OA_MEDIA}/',//CF_LOGO)}
    The image is within a repeating loop that loops around the invoices chosen.
    It works fine if I run the concurrent request for a single invoice - the correct logo image is shown.
    However if I run the concurrent request for a range of invoices which should contain a mixture of both logos it doesn't work and prints the same logo for each invoice regardless of what it should be displaying.
    For testing purposes I also output the name of the image, field CF_LOGO (which is calculated in a formula in the RDF file) just before the actual image, and this always displays the correct value even for a range of invoices. As you can see above this is the field that I include in the code to obtain the image.
    Does anyone have any idea why a range of invoices will only display one logo image?
    Many thanks for any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Hazel

    It's a bug in MDM 5.5 SP04.  The fix is in MDM 5.5 SP05.

  • Bug? chained jQuery Selector in Dynamic Action doesn't work

    Just found out, that this jQuery Selector jQuery("#ABOTYPE_REPORT").find("#f01_0001") doesn't work as triggering Element of type "jQuery Selector" in a Dynamic Action.
    But this one jQuery("#ABOTYPE_REPORT").find("#f01_0001")[0] worked with type "DOM Element" as triggering Element in a Dynamic Action.
    To my knowledge even the first one is a real and valid jQuery Selector and should work.

    Hi Patrick,
    It would be really nice if you could support a less strict definition of the jQuery Selector (as i understand DOM Object and jQuery Selector to be the advanced and more powerful options).
    In my example i could directly use #f01_0001 if my page wouldn't have more than one TabForm on it (and therefore multiple elements with id f01_0001) ;-)

  • Dynamic menu doesn't work with f:verbatim and jsp:directive.include

    Is it not possible to include fragment part in a panel page containing some dynamic menus ?
    This work fine:
    <af:panelPage title="Application home">
    <f:facet name="menu1">
    <af:menuTabs var="menuTab" value="#{menuModel.model}">
    <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
    <af:commandMenuItem text="#{menuTab.label}"
    action="#{menuTab.getOutcome}"/>
    </f:facet>
    </af:menuTabs>
    </f:facet>
    But replacing these entry by a fragment doesn't work, as this:
    <af:panelPage title="Application home">
    <f:facet name="menu1">
    <f:verbatim>
    <jsp:directive.include file="/menuTab.jspf"/>
    </f:verbatim>
    </f:facet>
    the fragment code:
    <f:subview id="menuTab">
    <af:menuTabs var="menuTab" value="#{menuModel.model}">
    <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
    <af:commandMenuItem text="#{menuTab.label}"
    action="#{menuTab.getOutcome}"/>
    </f:facet>
    </af:menuTabs>
    </f:subview>

    Oh, God, why not tell me earlier!!!!!! I do use tomcat 3.1 and it just support servlet. I have no way out but modify all my jsp:include to encoding into a servlet page. I almost re-do all my work. But anyway, thank you! Next time I will know.

  • Adobe Flash Player ActiveX deployment doesn´t work in SCCM 2012 R2

    I´ve created an Application to deploy Adobe Flash Player 15.0.0.189 (last version). I´ve tried to deploy with the msi downloaded from Adobe site, using Powershell App Deploy Toolkit, bat script.. but nothing seems to work 100%.
    I have 2500 computers in my company. Working with SCCM 2012 R2.
    Some computers doesn´t install;
    Some install it but Internet Explorer seems to loose this configuration and doesn´t open flash videos;
    Some install but doesn´t uinstall the last version, then you can see two diferent versions installed;
    Do you have a definitive solution to deploy Adobe Flash Player via SCCM?

  • Exploded deployment doesn't work in Weblogic 8.1

    Hi
    I have a very weird problem. I am trying to deploy my apllication in Weblogic

    get the updated version of my jsp. I have double cked set STARTMODE= false so

    Can you show me the server log, the contents of your applications

  • Auto Query in Master Detail Form using dynamic page doesn't work

    I created a Master-Detail form, and implement AutoQuery using a dynamic page
    with the following code :
    <HTML>

    It works fine when we access the first time to the page, but if i press the

  • Optimizer Dynamic Sampling doesn't work in our DB

    Hi,
    I'm trying to explore Optimizer Dynamic Sampling functionality,but it seems that database use this feature only if I use /*+ optimizer_dynamic_sampling */ hint.
    There is optimizer_dynamic_sampling=2 set on system level (init.ora) and I also set this parameter on session level. But dynamic sampling is fired only with hint. I would like to use this feature transparently without any hints needed.
    Could it be some kind of bug or I'm doing something wrong?
    Thanks. Filip
    See example below.

    My normal spellcheck (the word per word one) does work, my dictionary works, everything works exept dynamic spelling, pls help.
    I have chosen the correct disctionary and my text is set in the right disctionary also (at the characters tap).

    Just to be sure: You know that dynamic spell check works only by underlining word with different colours? And that those underlines can only be seen in preview mode?

    Hi,
    So we have 4 lots of installer, below is a screenshot of the 4 in the right order.
    I labelled the folders with the path location changing \for space-space
    These are the command lines you will need to use:
    1
    msiexec /i "LEGOMigration.msi" ADDLOCAL="MigrateRetail.LEGO.DBU.11000" VXIPNPDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\" CVIDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\CVI\" IVIFOUNDATIONDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\" /qn
    2
    msiexec /i "LegoMindstormsNXTdriver64.msi" ADDLOCAL="LegoDriver_x64.VSALG64,Run_Time_Support.VSALG64,VISA_core.VSALG64,Serial.VSALG64,USB.VSALG64" VXIPNPDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\" /qn
    3
    msiexec /i "Mindstorms.msi" ADDLOCAL="LEGO.LEGO.20000" VXIPNPDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\" CVIDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\CVI\" IVIFOUNDATIONDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\" LEGODIR.178DA6E1_B165_40B7_A932_9CF312B77277="C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Software\" /qn
    4
    msiexec /i "MindstormsEng.msi" ADDLOCAL=EngLEGO.LEGO.20001.ENG VXIPNPDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\" CVIDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\CVI\" IVIFOUNDATIONDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\" /qn
    I was able to replicate the error you had just by just installing the MSI's without the specific public property's.
    The last MSI also installs Flash 10 which will be problematic, it does this even if you have flash 11 installed. Great installer eh :)
    MSI (s) (14:14) [16:44:56:329]: Executing op: CustomActionSchedule(Action=MJCAAA.CA1B87A7_8184_4BBC_AEF1_6067736A0371,ActionType=1090,Source=BinaryData,Target=/s,)
    I exported the binary table with Orca to make sure and renamed the extension to .exe
    Here is a link to an mst that will prevent the flash.exe from installing when the 4th MSI install.
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/tlk9m5y4gy0cfpa/Lego.zip?dl=0
    Once you have it I will remove the link.
    pop the lego.mst from the zip into the 4th dir and use the below to install it.
    msiexec /i "MindstormsEng.msi" ADDLOCAL=EngLEGO.LEGO.20001.ENG VXIPNPDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\VISA\" CVIDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\CVI\" IVIFOUNDATIONDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\" TRANSFORMS="Lego.mst" /qn
    The only reason you may still have an issue is if your product version is slightly different from mine.
    You can download ORCA free from the internet and see the difference the mst makes to the msi.
    It is only changing the condition on the custom action that installs the old flash.exe

  • Call a dynamical VI doesn't work

    Hi,
    i just decided to change the call to a capacious vi from static to
    dynamical. I had made some same things with LabVIEW 5.x some time ago.
    But with 6i i run in trouble. I opened a vi reference and wanted to wire
    it to the dynamic function call. In that case i always get a dotted
    line. I also tried to specify the typ for open vi, but nothing helped.
    Where is the mistake and how could i resolve the problem?
    Regards
    Henrik

    Ok, after advice i found an example which uses this function. I missed
    the entry to browse for the vi control to the open vi.
    Now it runs perfect...

    I can run the application correctly in jdeveloper 11g environment. I think there is something wrong with deployment. Can anyone help me?

    When you target url with .jspx, you are running the page itself, not in the task flow context, so navigation doesn't work.
    In the task flow, your page has 'Activity ID' (which is, for example, 'mainPage' for mainPage.jspx) and the navigation is defined for activity IDs, not pages.

  • Dynamic adding of components (doesn't work when programmatically)

    Hi, I don't understand, why this doesn't work. I'll explain it on this example:
    import java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor;
    import java.util.concurrent.TimeUnit;
    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.event.ActionEvent;
    import javafx.event.EventHandler;
    import javafx.scene.Group;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.control.Button;
    import javafx.scene.paint.Color;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;
    public class NewFXMain extends Application {
        Group root;
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Application.launch(NewFXMain.class, args);
        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) {
            primaryStage.setTitle("Hello World");
            root = new Group();
            Scene scene = new Scene(root, 300, 250, Color.LIGHTGREEN);
            Button btn = new Button();
            btn.setLayoutX(100);
            btn.setLayoutY(80);
            btn.setText("Add button now");
            btn.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {
                public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
                    addButton();
            root.getChildren().add(btn);
            primaryStage.setScene(scene);
            primaryStage.setVisible(true);
            System.err.println("Number of buttons before: "+root.getChildren().size());
            ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor executor = new ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor(1);
            executor.schedule(new MyTask(), 5, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
        private void addButton() {
            System.err.println("Button adding");
            root.getChildren().add(new Button("YEAH"));
            System.err.println("Number of buttons after: "+root.getChildren().size());
        class MyTask implements Runnable {
            public void run() {
                addButton();
    }There are two ways how a new button can be added. Either by clicking on existing button or programmatically by the program itself after 5 seconds.
    If you add it by button, there is no problem. The error print is:
    Number of buttons before: 1
    Button adding
    Number of buttons after: 2
    But if you just wait, then the error print is:
    Number of buttons before: 1
    Button adding
    and no button is added. In fact, the error printing after the adding isn't performed either.
    I'd like to ask if there is some solution for this because I'd love to do some changes by schedulers. Thx

    No, these are not error messages, they are just for purpose of example. Here it doesn't matter whether err or out... (yes, 'out' would be better ;)
    But thanx, it's working. By the way, I am creating scheduler for task lists. They are supposed to be printed dynamically in specific time (or periodically). For example: at 5 o'clock I need to print 5 items of some list and every 3 hours I need to print 3 items of another list etc. - so it's quite dynamic with regard to component adding (No, I don't want to use some sort of ListView, I want interactive printing: one item on screen at a moment). I'll try to work your solution into my code.
    Edit: So either it's not possible to use this for the purpose of my app or it will be really cumbersome. Maybe it would be easier to draw some rectangles with mouse listeners...
    Edit: So I finally got around it. In the end, I won't use dynamic adding as intended. It's working and that's important.

  • In human task, dynamically assign group doesn't work

    Oracle SOA 11.1.1.4
    My bpel process invokes a human task.
    On the human task Assignment tab, I assigned 3 users (by name), 1 group (by expression).
    The group is configured in LDAP
    When I tested the bpel process, I entered the group and other data required.
    From the worklist app, I see the task listed. It is assigned to the 3 users, but not the dynamically passed-in group.
    From the Audit trail, I saw all data I entered (include the group). Everything seems correct, but I still can’t make the dynamically-pass-group work.
    If I assign the group by name in human task, it works fine.
    The problem is: dynamically assign group doesn't work.
    Please kindly advice.

    Yes, it is possible assign a group as participant of some human task, passing the group name as parameter.
    I have tested just now.
    It works pretty well in SOA 11.1.1.4 (BPEL or BPM).
    Make sure add a data parameter in your human task definition and pass a valid group name to it.
    At the Assignment tab, in the participants' list, add a group, data type by expression, and set the value to the right xpath expression to the corresponding parameter.
    For example: /task:task/task:payload/task:group
    If it is not working look the SOA log files, probably you'll find some information about the error there. Maybe there is some problem with your jazn.com configuration.
    You can also test if there is something wrong related to the group name, trying to transfer some task to the same group by the worklist.
