Dynamic Discovery Fails to Work

I am trying to do a customization on wide portlet header background to background images. So I subclass MyPortalContentView and rewrite the PortletHeader() method.

I jar the code and put it in WEB-INF/lib and rebuilt the portal.ear. I add the new jar file in CustomActivity.xml. I added the jar file in PORTAL_HOME/ptportal/5.0j/java/lib too.
However, it did not dynamic discover my new class.
What steps could I have missed out?

The Screen Sharing part of iChat uses a Random port over the internet (Along side an Audio Chat).
It may depend on how you have ports opened or allowed in any routing device.

iChat video/audio fails to work 90% of the time. The error message says the other party failed to respond, or some other, similar, bogus "communication error" message.
Invitation to video or audio chat fails 100% of the time with certain buddies of mine, and anywhere from 50% to 90% of the time with others, regardless of whether they invite me or I invite them. Changing ISPs, Macs, locations, or static/dynamic IP settings has made no difference.
This problem surfaced with Tiger in the summer of 2007, and progressively became worse, especially since Leopard, to the point where iChat video/audio fails 100% of the time, unless the other user happens to be in the same [home] network.
All of a sudden the problem went away since the upgrade to 10.5.6, and I was able to again use iChat video to communicate with friends I have not been able to "see" in a year and a half! However, the problem started again today, with the same bogus "communication error" message every time a video connection attempt is made.
Screen Sharing also fails to work, 100% of the time, regardless of how it is invoked, through iChat or not, unless, again, it is attempted between 2 macs in the same home network.
In the meantime, Skype video works fine all the time.

Thomson-Alcatel by default do what is called Binding of SIP to port 5060
This means ANY SIP data is forced to that port. iChat 4 no longer uses this port for SIP. It caused problems in iChat 2 and 3 which could be resolved when the firmware was Version 4 or earlier.
How do I know ?

I would guess you live some where where Speedtouch's are popular and have many Speedtouch to Speedtouch connections that fair slightly better than average.
Last time I had contact with iBoise on this the Firmware was at version 7 and he was in the process of evaluating it for any changes.
There has been no announcement. In this case I don't think No News is Good News.

Untrusted Forest Discovery failed

I'm having a issue with remote untrusted forest. Forest Discovery fails, but I can publish site server information to this forest.
ERROR: [ForestDiscoveryAgent]: Failed to connect to forest domain.com. This can be because of disjoint DNS namespaces, network connectivity or server availibility issue. Error Information The specified forest does not exist or cannot be contacted.

I have configured conditional forwarders between forests and name resolution works. There shouldn't be any firewall issues either and I tested SRV records via nslookup with this method
Type nslookup, and then press ENTER.
Type set type=all, and then press ENTER.
Type _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<var>Domain_Name</var>, where <var>Domain_Name</var> is the name of your domain, and then press ENTER.
Nslookup lists correct domain controllers from remote forest.
Any ideas what could be causing this? I think it's AD related problem.

I tested this last week and this works. Now I can discover computer objects from untrusted forest. There must be something wrong with the ad/dns infrastructure becasue
normally you dont need to specify domain controller directly because it should find it with srvlookup.

Does anyone meet this Radius Error in Cisco ISE 1.2 and the switch 2960 12.2(55)SE7 ?
When i reauthentication the guest profile to the other profile using Radius CoA on the Self-Service Guest Workflow.

Dynamic Authorization Failed

I keep getting error meesages on the ISE in regards to RADIUS
the error is
Dynamic Authorization failed : 1213 No response received from Network Access Device
i am using ISE version 1.1.1 and the NAD is a WLC running version 7.0.98.0
i use ISE to authenticate users via PEAP. I deleted the NAD and re-added it twice but i still keep getting this issue. this set up was working fine for the last few weeks.
i dont think location and device type would cause an issue to authentication under the NAD list
anyone have any ideas?

the option i.e drop down box wasnt there. lookin at the compatibility chart of ISE 1.1.1 and WLC, minimum version for WLC is 7.2.103.0
Do you need to have RADIUS NAC enabled if the ISE is only used to authenticate corporate wireless users against AD. there is no CoA,
the other function is to use RADIUS as network management logon. to WLC using the AD. depending on the AD group , one could get priv 15 or priv 5 access. i am also using device attribute by location so that remote offices network enigineer cannot log onto the WLC. i.e i created a NAD , put it in a location and use that location AND the AD group to qualify for priv 15 access.
Coudl this policy interrupt the wireless RADIUS policy? Wireless policy is at the top of the list under authorization tab.

Dynamic Authorization Failed: DiconnectNAK

I have WLC 7.6 and ISE 1.2 Patch 6.
My use case is WLAN Guest Access with CWA. I have ISE Appliance 3395 (2 Admin/Mon, 2 PSN). Everything work fine so far.
But from time to time I get these strange message (it does not matter if I do a manual Session termination in the Operations Tab) Everything is configured in the right way, since normal CWA works (CoA is working fine, but not always...).

Dynamic Authorization Failed - Posture with Guest Portal - ISE - WLC

Hello everybody,
I'm implementing a NAC solution based on Cisco ISE. Unfortunately, I'm facing a problem related to the CoA (Change of Authorization).
The guest can authenticate successfully via portal and then he is redirected to the page of client provisioning.
When he is compliant with the policy he gets access without any problem and this means that CoA works perfectly. The issue occurs when he has to remediate (download the file from ISE and install it). In this case, we need a change of authorization profile.
The authentication logs show that the posture status changed from non-compliant to compliant but the users doesn't obtain access .

You can use LWA for this . he WLC redirects the HTTP traffic to an internal or external server where the user is prompted to authenticate. The WLC then fetches the credentials (sent back via an HTTP GET request in the case of external server) and makes a RADIUS authentication. In the case of a guest user, an external server (such as Identity Service Engine (ISE) or NAC Guest Server (NGS)) is required as the portal provides features such as device registering and self-provisioning.

Dynamic Discovery on WebSphere 4.0.7

Hi all,
I wrote my pluggable navigation and I modified the LoginHTML, LoginModel and LoginControl. Then I put the navigation and the modified login code in one .jar file and I added it in the CustomActivitySpace.xml.
On a machine running Tomcat all is discovered well. On another machine running WebSphere 4.0.7 only the pluggable navigation is discovered well. I mean that I can choose it from the subportal manager and it works. On the contrary the login code modifications aren't discovered well.
I'm using Plumtree 5.0.2 (Java version).
Do you have suggestions?

It sounds to me like you are using HotSwap debugging on Tomcat, which doesn't require dynamic discovery. This is not in any way supported by our product. Tomcat allows you to replace any Java code with new code, without re-compiling. This is not what Dynamic Discovery is. This will not work on any application server other than Tomcat, including .NET, Websphere, and Weblogic. Dynamic Discovery only allows you to replace certain components in the portal, such as Models, Views, Controls, Activity Spaces, and PEIs, among others. LoginHTML is just a helper class used by the LoginSpace and LoginPortlet LoginViews. In order to properly dynamically discover this customization so that it will work on other platforms, a custom LoginView must be created that uses your new LoginHTML class.

Hi Fellows,
I had a server with one database only. It was discovered and running fine in OEM using Oracle Management Server. I created one more database in this server and created a service. Now I can see this database when I use OEM with stand alone option. But when I try OEM Oracle Management Server and I try to discover new database, it gives me the following error:
Discovery Failed: VNI-4026: Discovery failed: Error while transferring services.ora
I ping agent and it is okay. I checked the status of Listner which is fine too. If listner is not fine I should not be able to connect.
Note: the database which I already had on the server is working absolutely fine.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I am trying to find a method in reference implementation to dynamically discover and invoke web services.
I appreciate that this has already been implemented through opensource Axis, uuid4j and wsdl4j, but I am interested to see if there is any sign of such functionality in Sun APIs.

In my experience with the .NET portal, I've only had to put the custom DLLs in one place to get them to work with dynamic discovery. That place is %PT_HOME%\ptportal\webapp\portal\bin.

This error message is telling you that SGD failed to find any site objects in your AD tree. This should not stop users from logging in, it will just mean that SGD will not be able to work out which AD site is local to the SGD server.
If you are not using sites in your AD setup, then you do not need to worry about this.

Why Dynamic Parameter is not working, when i create report XI using stored procedure ?
Only i shaw those parameters which i used in my stored procedure, the parameter which i create dynamic using stored procedure
is not shown to me when i referesh the report for viewing the results.
I have used the same procedure which i mention below but can not seen the last screen which is shown in this .

My question is that whether dynamic parameter is working with storedprocedure or not.
When i added one table and try to fetch records using dyanmic prameters. after that i am not be able to find the dynamic parameter option when i referesh my report.
One more thing when i try the static parameter for my report, the option i see when i referesh the screen.

I have tested the issue step by step by following you description, while the first issue works well in my local environment. Based on my research, this can be caused by the lookup expression or it indeed return Male value based on the logic. If you use the
expression below, it will indeed only return the Male record. So please try to double-check the record in the two datasets and the expression in your environment:
=lookup(first(Fields!ProgramID.Value,"DataSet1"),Fields!ProgramID.Value,Fields!Gender.Value,"DataSet2")
As to the second issue, please try to use the following expression:
=Count(Lookup(fields!ProgramID.value,fields!ProgramID.value,fields!Gender.value,"DataSet2"))

SLM 2008 fails to work

I have 2 SLM 2008. One of the bought in 2008 still under Linksys while the second is already Cisco labeled I got in 2010 to extend my home network. Both are firmwared to 2.0.0.10.
The first one yesterday failed to work. When I switch it off nad in a minute back on, in a few seconds all leds light and after a couple of seconds go off. And that's it no farther signs of life. It is not pinged nor webgui accessible. Reset did not solve the problem. Any idea?

Reboot Archlinux. No warning in connection with udev was found on text scrolling. Problem remains
I found "FS#9867 - /dev/lp0 not created by udev"

The case is similar to mine. Problem happens after running update/upgrade. Previously the Fax_Printer worked w/o problem.
Remark: I have WindowsXP running on this box (on another HD). Sending and receiving faxes are w/o problem.
I think I have to downgrade "udev" if w/o a solution. Please advise how to do it? TIA

Printer Model -
Detailed Problem Description -
Operating System of computer (including service pack revision) - Done
Connection Method - USB, Hardwired LAN, Wireless? -
Make and model of router and modem? -
Error messages - on printer screen and/or computer, any blinking light patterns?
If wireless, when the problem occurs, what is status of Blue Wireless light on printer, on, off or blinking? -
