Dynamic font loading form diffent domain The value specified for argument font is invalid

Hi
I am trying to dyanmiclly load domain from external swf
First I Embed the font in an SWF called "FontsSWFList.swf"
[Embed(source='Assets/fonts/ARIAL.TTF' , fontFamily='Arial Font' , embedAsCFF="true")]
public static var ArialFont:Class;
and then I load the SWF in another "main.swf"
and then get the font Class
like this:
loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,OnFinishedLoadingSWF);
loader.load('http://www.natansites.com/FontsSWFList.swf' );
 public function OnFinishedLoadingSWF(event:Event):void{
 var FontLibrary1:Class = this.loader.content.loaderInfo.applicationDomain.getDefinition("FontsSWFList_ArialFont") as Class;
Font.registerFont(FontLibrary1);
If the FontsSWFList.swf is found on the same domain as main.swf (using reletive path) then everything is OK. But when they are on diffrent domains
I get an error:
"The value specified for argument font is invalid"
There is some disscussion about that here:
http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=182499
But the solotion seems too complicated and it didn't work for me in FLEX 4 and FTE
Please help me

Thanks
I got now
Error #2044: Unhandled SecurityErrorEvent:. text=Error #2048: Security sandbox violation: http://www.*****.com/test/****.swf cannot load data from http://www.natansites.com/FontsSWFList.swf.
I tried planting corssdoamin.xml everywhere but it didn't help
I give up on this issue now mybe I try it again later

    On a form, using the value "image/*" for the accept attribute of the HTML input Element, how can I add .pdf to the array of pre-configured file types (.jpe, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, .bmp, .ico, .svg, .svgz, .tif, .tiff, .ai, .drw, .pct, .psp, .xcf, .psd, .raw)?
    Say I wanted to add .gif, .jfif or .ico. I find this array limited, how can I add types to image?
    <input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*" id="file" />
    mimeTypes.rdf does not seem to allow this.

    ''mimeTypes.rdf'' has nothing to do with web development. It's a file that stores your file handling preferences (e.g. if you want ZIP files automatically saved or opened).
    You can't change the file types of the pre-defined content specifiers (audio/*, video/*, image/*), but you can specify additional MIME types. To add PDF to your above example,
    <pre><nowiki><input type="file" name="file" accept="image/*,application/pdf" id="file" /></nowiki></pre>

    Finally  still i m facing the same problem about the
    error message mentioned earlier; I appreciate any support and I will be very
    thankful for helping me to find  a suitable solution!!

    1.) Please don't double post:Urgent message : oracle9i form builder read  txt file error
    2.) As for your original post: don't post urgent questions over here. If they are really urgent call oracle support. See How To Ask Questions The Smart Way
    and after all:
    wcu-015: your form must contain the following bean for this function to be
    available : oracle.forms.webutil.file.filefunctions;
    are you certain, 100% positive, and absolutely sure you have a bean item with above implementation class in your form? I'd double check that...
    JInit and IE8? I am not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that this combination didn't work at all. And please don't tell us you used that stupid hack where you replace the jvm.dll of JInit with one of a current JPI installation.
    The Oracle Versions you have in place are rather ancient as well, you really should think about upgrading your database and your forms installation. As you already are on webforms moving to the current version of forms shouldn't require much changes in your forms.
    cheers

    Uninstall SIMBL as follows. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    /Library
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
    from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V), and press return. A folder will open. From that folder, delete the items listed below (some may be absent.) You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
    Application Support/SIMBL
    InputManagers/SIMBL
    LaunchAgents/net.culater.SIMBL.Agent.plist
    ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax
    Log out and log back in.
    Make sure you never reinstall SIMBL. It’s likely to come bundled with another third-party system modfication that depends on it. If you want trouble-free computing, avoid software that makes miraculous changes to other software, especially built-in applications. The only real exception to that rule is Safari extensions, which are mostly safe, and are easy to get rid of when they don’t work. SIMBL and its dependents are not Safari extensions.

  • Limiting the value help for a user input variable as required

    Hello Gurus,
    I have a requirement :-
    Restrict the value help for a user input variable in a query to only a required set of values instead of the default behaviour. ie instead of having all the values in the master data of that characteristics in the value help.
    How do I go about it? - Do I have to explore the precalculated value set feature?
    If so, please tell me how to go about it in BI 7.I would appreciate if you could explain it in detail rather than sending me a URL because I have gone through most of them but Iam yet to figure out how to create the broadcast setting and subsequent steps.
    Thanks for your time.
    Regards,
    Kris_Hitman

    I believe if the User doesn't want to see any particular values in F4 help then it means they are not intrested in viewing the transaction data related to those values.
    So why don't you restrict that object with the required values. Then the F4 help will automatically display only those values.

  • Outlook - The path specified for the file SharePoint Lists PST is not valid

    Some users are connecting via Citrix XenApp to Microsoft Server 2008 R2 and using Microsoft Office 2010 (14.0.7109.5000) SP2 MSO (14.0.7116.5000) - Microsoft Office Profressional Plus 2010 x86 version for their email.  Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
    SP2 for email.
    They are connected to Microsoft SharePoint 2010 SP2 August 2013 CU, via a SharePoint Calender; they have View permissions to the SharePoint calendar using Classic Mode permissions (Not Claims).  No permissions have / are changing on this SharePoint
    Calendar.  They connect to the SharePoint Calender to Outlook.
    When they open up their Office Outlook client, they receive an error "Outlook Data File" "The path specified for the file \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\SharePoint Lists.pst is not valid." OK
    They select OK and they get a window popping up with the option to try to find the SharePoint list.  "Create/Open Outlook Data File" (File name: 'SharePoint Lists') Open Cancel.  They select Cancel.
    They are returned to their Outlook client "email."
    As an I.T. administrator and SharePoint Administrator, I had a remote session with them, using Bomgar software and I Go to File Menu, Account Settings, SharePoint Lists Tab but there is no list there so go to the Data Files tab and see SharePoint Lists listed.
    Selecting it once, and clicking on Settings... button gives error message similar to the one above about PST not valid.
    STRANGE in that, when you do that!  You can go to Home tab, Calendar (Ctrl+2), and see Other Calendars and now the SharePoint calendar that was supposed to be there before, but was just "empty!"  There was only the Other Calendars
    option but it didn't have any "sub" calendar item.
    A similar issue is when Other Calendars is listed, and has a sub calendar listed, a SharePoint connected calendar.  You click on it and get "Microsoft Outlook" "The set of folders cannot be opened. The path specified for the file c:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\SharePoint
    Lists.pst is not valid."  OK
    Click OK and go through the above steps to get the same result.  After going into Account Settings, Data Files, checking on the Settings... button, and receiving the error message, again mentioned above, and the prompt to Create/Open Outlook Data File,
    thgen I can go back into Account Settings, Data Files, and double click on the SharePoint Lists and instead of an error, the Outlook Data File comes up, with Change Password... Compact Now, Comment, Name, Filename, Format (Outlook Data File) OK Cancel.
    Can go back to the Calendar (Ctrl+2) and Other Calendars, and the SharePoint Calendar "Sub calendar" will appear and operate as normal!  All was done was go into the Account settings and "check" on the "error."
    Tried to delete the SharePoint Lists and close out and add it and then go back in, and it "worked" for a few days.  I later turned on Logging and for over 24 hours it was on for the user.  The user was not on forever.
    In the Outlook Logging folder, from the users profile, I found many *.log files, firstrun, OPMLog, ETL files, one of which is 6MB, and some prof_001_outlook....txt files.  I clickedo n the SharePoint Lists.pst.log file 1KB

    They are using a CRM client 2011 (Server is CRM 2011 - on premise) as well as having other connected email accounts - managed accounts, like Accounting or HR, etc.
    What can I look for / provide for you all to assist?  I am almost ready to open a ticket with Microsoft to resolve this as it has been happening for multiple users for multiple weeks.
    When "I" go in, logged on as myself, I do NOT have this problem, however my account is not "old" in that I just logged onto the account domain\matthew.carter, where these users use their accounts day in and day out for weeks / months
    / (some years).
    Thank you!

    Did you post this in the SharePoint Section? Did you find a resolution for this?
    We are experiencing the same issue and have yet to find anything to resolve this issue.
    Regards, Daniel
    I ended up scouring his old posts looking for the other thread, and he did open one in the SharePoint forum:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/3dded85b-73ee-47dc-9609-6ee65f329983/outlook-the-path-specified-for-the-file-sharepoint-lists-pst-is-not-valid?forum=sharepointadminprevious#3dded85b-73ee-47dc-9609-6ee65f329983
    Unfortunately, what was marked as an "answer" by the moderators isn't really an answer at all to the problem. We are experiencing pretty much an identical issue with a calendar people are adding to Outlook 2010 from SharePoint 2010 within a XenApp
    server (using roaming profiles). However, we have not had the issue occur outside of XenApp yet.

  • The security validation for this page is invalid – Infopath 2010

    Hello Experts,
    I have created browser enabled Infopath form and written a custom code (infopath 2010). I have a “Save” button on a form that submits the data into multiple relational sharepoint list. While debugging through VSTA everything goes well and successfully submits
    the data, but after publishing a form(browser enabled) I am not able to save a data to sharepoint list. When I Clicked on save button, it just refreshing a page, even the same was getting after
     made it to full trust and approved by Admin.
    Before this I was using “Submit” button to submit a form, that time I was getting a popup with the message “There has been an error while processing the form”. And in log files it was showing error message as “The security validation
    for this page is invalid”.
    I referred many blogs regarding validation error and tried almost everything in every way, some of shortly mentioned below,
    Formdigest (It not works for me)
    Security Validation (It works perfectly)
    The second option is working for me.  (But this is not a good practice and also not recommended)
    Just want to know “Without making Security Validation Off” how can I resolved this validation issue from infopath 2010 form.
    Please share your thoughts on this. Any help is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Uday

    Hi Uday,
    Have you tried SPWebapplication.FormDigestSettings.Enabled = false to turn off the digest setting property for the web application? See this blog for the details.

  • SharePoint Error "The security validation for this page is invalid" when delete an item

    Hi,
    I have SharePoint 2010 setup and works fine until today all of a sudden it throws error "The security validation for this page is invalid" when delete a SharePoint document or list item.
    There is no custom event handler deployed on library/list, and it should not be account issue as the same account works yesterday, and even after I turn off security validation from Central Admin, it still doesn't work.
    The only change I did is turn off Dynamic Compression from IIS, after that I tried enable back Dynamic Compression but it still doesn't work.
    Does anyone know what could be the possible reasons? Thanks in advance.

    hi,

    best regards.

    Guo,
    I see a question mark in the sql statement, instead of the Oracle-style bind parameter notation which would be ":1". Can you change your VO to use Oracle-Style bind params and see whether it works?

  • JavaScript - Error: The security validation for this page is invalid...

    Hi there,
    I have a question regarding javascript and the security validation.
    I have created a custom action for a document library. This custom action should update a field in all selected documents by the user. But when I do the update, I got this error message:
    "The security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again."
    I know, I could AllowUnsafeUpdates, if I were using C#, but actually I can only use JavaScript at this stage. Or does anybody know, how to allow this or switch to C# in this area?
    Here is my custom action:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/">

    Any idea, how to perform the update on the selected items?
    Thanks for any hint.

    Ok, I found the reason.
    I just had to replace the SP.ClientContext line in JavaScript.
    Instead of
    var clientContext = new SP.ClientContext(siteUrl);
    I need to use this one:
    var clientContext = SP.ClientContext.get_current();

  • The security validation for this page is invalid

    I am trying to declare items in doc library inside a specific folder as records. This is my code:
    using (SPWeb site = SPContext.Current.Site.OpenWeb("myClassicSite")) {
                        site.AllowUnsafeUpdates = true;
                        SPList list = site.Lists.TryGetList(currentDocLibName);
                        SPFolder folder = list.GetItemById(foldId).Folder;
                        try {
                                SPDocumentLibrary doclib = (SPDocumentLibrary)site.Lists.TryGetList(currentDocLibName);
                                SPView defaultView = doclib.Views["my custom view"];
                                SPListItemCollection docColl = doclib.GetItemsInFolder(defaultView, folder);
                                foreach (SPListItem item in docColl) {
                                    Records.DeclareItemAsRecord(item); // throws exception here
                        } catch (Exception) {
    It throws exception: "The security validation for this page is invalid"
    I just can't declare items as records, I tried RunwWithElevetedPriviledges, AllowUnsafeUpdate, and SPWebapplication.FormDigestSettings.Enabled = false;
    What am I doing wrong?

    Have you tried adding SPUtility.ValidateFormDigest(); before the start of your code section? Have a look at the article below for more info on the same.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2011/04/04/troubleshooting-sharepoint-error-the-security-validation-for-this-page-is-invalid.aspx
    The problem should be originating because of the use of AllowUnsafeUpdates in your code above. Here is a good writeup on best practices when using AllowUnsafeUpdates in the code:

  • Update list item with managed metadata field returns The security validation for this page is invalid

    Using SharePoint 2010 Server
    I'm attempting to programtically update a managed metadata field in a document library. I'm able to do it without issue on all other non-managed metadata fields. When I attempt it on a MM field I get the error message
    "The security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again."
    After some digging I realised that this error was being caused because SharePoint was trying to write to the TaxonomyHiddenList list (../sites/mysite/Lists/TaxonomyHiddenList/AllItems.aspx)
    When I update a document through the browser with a term (Term01), it shows up in this TaxonomyHiddenList . I can then run my application, apply Term01 to my new document and it works fine. But if I apply Term02 to my new document it gives me the error above.
    Summary
    My app can read the TaxonomyHiddenList fine but it can not perform an operation that would write to it, resulting in not being able to update the MM field.
    Question
    Is there any advice on how I can further debug this issue?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to update managed metadata field in document library programmatically.
    I have made a simple code demo below to updata managed metadata field in document library, it works like a charm, you can refer to it.
    public static void UpdateMSField()
    using (SPSite site = new SPSite("http://YourSiteURL"))
    using (SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb())
    //SPList list = web.Lists.TryGetList("Libs_1");
    SPDocumentLibrary lib = (SPDocumentLibrary)web.Lists["Libs_1"];
    // No point in proceeding if we can't find the list
    if (lib != null)
    // add a new item
    // SPListItem item = list.AddItem();
    SPListItem item = lib.GetItemById(1);
    //Console.WriteLine(item.Name);
    // get the current taxonomy session, which wraps up all of the
    // associated TermStore objects for this SPSite object
    TaxonomySession metadataService = new TaxonomySession(site);
    // get the taxonomy field
    TaxonomyField taxField = item.Fields["MMS_1"] as TaxonomyField;
    // get the term store associated with the taxonomy field
    TermStore termStore = metadataService.TermStores[taxField.SspId];
    // get the actual term set associated with the taxonomy field
    TermSet termSet = termStore.GetTermSet(taxField.TermSetId);
    // search for the terms we wish to set the field to
    var terms = termSet.GetTerms("term_1", true, StringMatchOption.ExactMatch, 1, false);
    // if we have found a term populate the field
    if (terms.Count > 0)
    // set the field to the term(s) we have found
    taxField.SetFieldValue(item, terms.First());
    // Update the item
    item.Update();
    Console.WriteLine("success...");

  • SWF loaded form External Domain

    'd like to know if it's possible to use actionscript to
    prevent a SWF from being loaded from another domain.
    i.e: I host my_clip.swf at mydomain.com and someone loads my
    SWF from externaldomain.com via :
    <param name="movie" value="
    http://www.mydomain.com/flash/my_clip.swf"
    />
    I'm meaning accesing SWF files from outter domains, (this is
    not about loading data or vars)
    Thanks in advance.

    hi cbeech,
    ya i just read abt it on the loadvars. But not really sure
    how to proceed as the guestbook is dwnloaded from web.
    I will try to remove all the _root and use relative path.
    Let me explain again. PHP file and HTML and SWF.
    guestbook.swf will call guestbook.php and write to
    entries.html using loadvariablenum()
    for all variables that assist in writing to entries.html,
    they have _root in it. the code to write to the file is on a button
    on release method.
    guestbook.swf will call guestbook.php and read from
    entrie.html using loadvariablenum()
    for all variables that assist in reading from the html file,
    they have no _root in it and is in a layer named action with no
    symbols in that frame.
    Weird thing is that writing to the html has no issue. I can
    see that the guestbook is loaded in my main, i fill in and click on
    the post button which will writes to the html file, and the
    guestbook should resume to showing the entries which at this point
    of time will read the entries.html file. I found out writing has no
    issue when i open the entries.html file and it reflect the latest
    entry that i just submitted. but when reading the file, the
    guestbook is not able to do so.
    when running alone as guestbook itself, it can show the
    entries and performed as per normal.
    So based on above situation, i would deem that the variables
    without the _root that assist in reading the file, is having
    problems. so i tried adding _root to them and it won't work.
    I will try to remove the rest of the _root and see how it
    goes.
    Thanks cbeech.
