If you want to develop a WinForm application to be only used in SharePoint Server, we can use Server-Side Object Model(use Microsoft.Sharepoint.dll) to achieve it.
If you want to use the WinForm application to be used both in Server side and Client Side, I suggest you use .Net Client Object Model(use Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client.dll) to achieve it.

Trying to get sql server compact up and running. I connected to a sqlite database and atuo generated the model.cs code.
however, I get the following error.

Ok so I got the past that problem. I had to add the package System.Data.SQLite Core in Manage NuGet.
Then I changed the auto-generated code "using SQLite" to "using System.Data.SQLite".
But now I have a new problem, it says "System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection' does not contain a definition for 'CreateTable' "

I've never seen this error before... First time it happened was immediately after DLing Firefox 5 yesterday. I haven't DLed or installed anything else recently.

I was able to fix the error by importing the namespaces and including the assemblies. That got me past the 'PrincipalContext' error.
Now I am getting an error on the line 'UserPrincipal user =...':

It seems you are using third party dll namespace reference in your project but that dll is not being added in project. Please get the IBM.WMQ dll and add it first in your current visual studio project by right click on project-->add reference.
You can place this dll in GAC or can directly add to project as suggested by jaydeep.

Microsoft.SqlServer.DacServices dll is referenced in a unit test project and the compiler is showing an error - The type or namespace name 'DacServices' could not be found.
Although I referenced the dll file in the project visual studio is still errors out as a missing library. I have also tried downloading the file which has the library from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40735
by installing Microsoft Data-Tier Application Framework for SQl Server.
Please shade light on this.

In addition, Microsoft SQL Server Data-Tier Application Framework requires Microsoft SQL Server System CLR Types, and Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL ScriptDom (SQLSysCLRTypes.msi and SQLDOM.msi). You need to install both SQLSysCLRTypes.msi
and SQLDOM.msi.

Managed c++ class - The type or namespace name could not be found

Hello,
I have a managed c++ class library project with the following attribute:
<TargetFrameworkVersion>v3.5</TargetFrameworkVersion>
That library is used from a C# project. If I change the C# framework to 4 they both compile fine.
If I set the C# framework to 3.5 the managed C++ class is not recognized and the C# project compilation fails with the following error :
Error XXX The type or namespace name 'XXX' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) C:\XXX.cs 19 7 XXX
Any idea about weird behavior? shouldn't it just work?
The C# project is using basic stuff, the same for the C++ project.

I think that part of that statement is true because when I inspect the added reference (i.e.: the managed C++ project reference -also known as wrapper- from the C# class library) I see in the property tab that the runtime property value is v4.0.30319
-this is very weird, because the managed c++ project is set to compile with v3.5 and the same with the C# project but it seems that if VS2008 or VS2010 is not present then is compiled with the default version.

I have in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ORACLE > SYSMAN > OracleDBConsoleorcl : "ORACLE_HOME" value "C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1"
When i execute "sqlplus / as sysdba" command, i receive error: "The procedure entry point longjmp could not be found in the dynamic link lib. orauts.dll" and "Error ORA-12560"
If i execute

Why?

You don't mention which specific version of the operating system that you are using - Windows XP, Vista, or 7 and whether you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version.
FWIW, kernell32.dll is a Windows system-level module, so it's possible that you have some corruption in your Windows installation which is preventing FM from launching.
Also, 2Gb of RAM is a bit lean for FM.

Data source executive could not be found

Hello there, I have recentley did my first dynamic website
using coldfusion MX 7. After I uploaded all the files in the server
of godaddy.com on a window platform which supports cfm, I had
realised that all the DSN routes were still
C:cfusion7\wwwroot\database\executive.Users... so I changed all the
tags to D:\Hosting\executivemalta\database\executive.Users....
Unfortunatley I keep on receiving the error Data source executive
could not be found! I have also created an access database from the
godaddy control panel and located the database to a folder called
accesscf and changed the DSN route as instructed by godaddy.
Unfortunatley that didn't even work. Could somebody out there be
generous enough to help me solve this problem? The following is the

Hi,
The issue here is the mapping of the interface to the service in question, and usually points to a possible mistype or rename of something within your service architecture.
You need to make sure your namespace and service name here match your service name itself.

We have an exisiting .NET MVC project which uses crystal reports versions 2008 (dlls of version 12.0.). No we have Crystal Reports 2011 for.NET SDK is installed and I've updated all the crystal related dlls (Enterprise.Framework.dll, CrystalDecisions.Chared, CrystalDecisions.Web ...) to newer version which is 14.0. This error I am getting, after I update the "CrystalDesicions.Web.dll" from version 12 to 14.0. Any I dea on this?
After, I verified with fusin log and ProcessMonitor, they are reporting on this:
path to BusinessObjects.Licensing.KeyCode.Decoder.dll is not found. Does this dll is used by CrystalDecisions.Web.dll?
and I don't have any mixed reference.

Ordinal 55 could not be found in the dynaminc link library iertutil.dll cs5.5 installation problem.

Okay, so when i downloaded the trial version of Flash Professional CS5.5, the following popup "popped up".
"The dynamic link library iertutil.dll could not be found. Reinstalling the application may solve this problem."
So i went to a site that had helped me with this sort of thing before dll-files.com, and downloaded iertutil.dll, and placed it in my System32 folder.
I pressed OK on the previous pop-up, only to be greeted with:
"Ordinal 55 could not be found in the dynaminc link library iertutil.dll"
Flash CS5.5 finished installing and works great, but the same Ordinal 55 popup pops up at least a hundred times a day, (It's even popping up as I write this) even when Flash isn't open
I'm using Windows XP SP2, I have Internet Explorer 6 SP2 (though i usually use Google Chrome Instead)

When does this error start to occur? Check Event Viewer and see if we could find any other messages.
Take a try with the SFC command:
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
Further, try the following if SFC won't help:

The issue here is the mapping of the interface to the service in question, and usually points to a possible mistype or rename of something within your service architecture.
