Dynamic Routing in BPEL 11g

Hi,
I have requirement where i need to dynamically call different WSDL with related xsd's. Currently i have two target system & i have two xsd's. But in future suppose third taregt system will come in picture than i need to change configuration & code will work without changing & deploying original code. Is this possible in BPEL? If yes, could you please provide tutorial related that.
I heard that using mediator we can achive that but i could not able to find any docs for dynamic routing using mediator.
Thanks

Hi,
I had dealt with dynamic routing in BPEL not sure about mediator though.
You can check the following link.

  • Dynamic routing in BPEL

    Is it possible to dynamically route msgs to different JMS topics in an BPEL project?
    I'm following this article (http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/bpel_cookbook/carey.html) that defines how to do the same in case of web-services.
    However, even when I set the EndpointReference as follows and assign it to the partnerlink, the message lands up in the topic that the partner link points to. It doesn't take the topic value that I'm setting up below!
    <EndpointReference
    xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/addressing"
    xmlns:ns1="http://services.otn.com">
    <Address>SOME_TEST_TOPIC</Address>
    </EndpointReference>
    Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. If in case, I need to provide further details, please let me know.

    Hi ,
    Address element in end point reference is the soap address of any wsdl.
    If you check the wsdl of your jms partner link you will find that its structure is a little different.
    try posting that wsdl here and lets see how can we make it dynamic.
    Cheers:)

  • Set dynamic authentication credentials to Partner link - BPEL 11g PS1

    Hi,
    I am working on BPEL SOA 11g PS1. I need to know how i can dynamically set the Authentication details (Username and password) as well as Timeout while invoking a web service reference.
    I have been successful in setting these values using properties of the partner-link which is static.But actually as per my use-case, i need to read these information dynamically from a repository say Database/DVM and set these value while invoking.
    Regards
    Sesha

    Hi Sridhar
    Below is the composite.xml snippet which works for me as static mapping. I have added "wss_username_token_client_policy" to the reference interface.
    <reference name="getNameService" ui:wsdlLocation="getNameService.wsdl">
    <interface.wsdl interface="http://www.amazon.com/css/mmbi/getNameService/#wsdl.interface(getNameServiceSoapPort)"/>
    <binding.ws port="http://www.amazon.com/css/mmbi/getNameService/#wsdl.endpoint(getNameService/getNameServiceSoapPort)"
    location="getNameService.wsdl" soapVersion="1.1">
    *<wsp:PolicyReference URI="oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy"*
    orawsp:category="security" orawsp:status="enable"/>
    <property name="weblogic.wsee.wsat.transaction.flowOption"
    type="xs:string" many="false">WSDLDriven</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">username11</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">password11</property>
    *<property name="oracle.webservices.httpReadTimeout" type="xs:string"*
    many="false" override="may">30000</property>
    <property name="oracle.soa.ws.outbound.omitWSA" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">true</property>
    </binding.ws>
    </reference>
    Here you can find property value for oracle.webservices.auth.username,oracle.webservices.auth.password & oracle.webservices.httpReadTimeout are static , What i want to make here is to read these from a bpel variable in runtime.
    OR
    Is there any means i can do this same basic authentication in BPEL 11g which would support dynamic credentials.
    Thanks

  • OSB 11g Dynamic Routing issue

    Hi,
    I am going to insane for not being able to get DynamicRouting to work. I am using DynamicRouting option in RouteNode and in the *service variable panel of this action I have the following:
    <ctx:route>
         <ctx:service isProxy='false'>/MyProject/Services/BusinessServices/MyBizService.biz</ctx:service>
         <ctx:operation>{$operation}</ctx:operation>
    </ctx:route>
    The business service is there and the path is correct. $Operation is verified to have the correct value.
    The setup is I have a proxy service based on a WSDL and in the route node I am trying to dynamically route to a business service.
    I get the following error:
    The invocation resulted in an error:
    <soapenv:Envelope      xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">

                   </detail>
              </soapenv:Fault>
         </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    If just use Routing Table or Route action, there is no error and flow works fine.
    Has anyone else encountered issues with Dynamic Routing in this nature?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mani

    I use the web console for my OSB development and when I click on the business service The path appears like "CommonServices/BusinessService/CreditRatingTemplate" (based on the sample downloaded from the link given by me)
    I guess you are using the Eclipse/Workshop for development and hence you are getting the below:
    */* NGWS/Services/BusinessServices/NGWS_http.*biz*
    Can you replace it without the front / in the beginning of the URL and see if it works.
    Thanks,

  • Dynamic XSLT in BPEL in SOA 11G

    Hi all,
    How can we run xslt dynamically in soa suite 11g . I have a requirement to get the xslt file name from the DB based on the input request ID .
    Then apply that xslt dynamically in the input request . Whenever we identified any new input request just create the xslt and just copy in a location update the DB
    with that ID . No development effort new XSLT.
    IS this is possible in 11g i know this is possible in 10g can anyone let me know how to achieve this in 11g.
    Thanks
    Phani

    Hi Prasad,
    Nothing really changed or I missed something in your question. It's the same practice as you demo in your blogpost. Instead of a Transformation activity that uses the ora:doXSLTransformForDoc() fuction you use an assign with the ora:processXSLT() function.
    In your assign use the expression value like:
    ora:processXSLT(bpws:getVariableData('xslDocVar'),bpws:getVariableData('inputVar','payload'))
    Complete fragment will look like this:
    <assign name="Assign1">
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:processXSLT(bpws:getVariableData('xslDocVar'),bpws:getVariableData('inputVar','payload'))"/>
    <to variable="outputVar" part="payload" query="/client:processResponse/client:result"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>

  • How to invoke synchronous services dynamically (parallel) using BPEL

    hi,
    I am working on soa suit 11g(11.1.1.2.0) & weblogic server 10.3.2. I have one requirement in which i need to dynamically route endpoints. To achive this, i have created one table in which i stored endpoints(wsdl url) & i used parallel flow to get that wsdl entry. I am invoking dbadaptor & taking input from parallel activity's as index variable which is unique for each time. Like for one flow it uses 1, second flow it uses 2 and so on. But when i m calling dbadaptor to get wsdl_url from table, everytime it's taking first index_value, hence i am not getting correct wsdl_url from table. If i will get correct url then i will use dynamica partnerlink to call wsdl.
    Could you please tell me any other way to dynamically route end point in BPEL?
    Thanks
    Amit

    Dude,
    I do have same requirement, but I followed the below link and I have created my process. I haven't tested it due to my environment is not yet ready. Even though my strong feeling is that we can achieve using this OSR installation. Just follow link and install OSR, after that take web service partner link and go to Resource pallet and invoke the service which is already exported from OSB, then one window will pop up with message of Check Dynamic......, there you have to check them. Finally all you need to do is..., Test it on another environment and let me know.

  • Problem in dynamic routing through ESB

    Hi All,
    I am trying dynamic routing through ESB, So I created routing service in my esb with WSDL of BPEL Process1 and a soap service with same wsdl. Then created a xsl transformation. In this xsl transformation I added below code to route to BPEL process 2.
    <xsl:variable name="LocationIn"
    select="http://PC-HP249:8888/orabpel/default/SyncBPELProcess2/1.0/SyncBPELProcess2"/>

    select="ehdr:setOutboundHeader('/shdr:ESBHeader/shdr:location',
    $LocationIn, 'shdr=http://xmlns.oracle.com/esb;')"/>
    But when I am invoking this ESB through another BPEL process, Got below error message:, Is there any solution for that , I am using 10.1..3.4.0, (JDEV, and BPEL).

  • Mediator dynamic routing

    Hi,
    has anyone implemented mediator dynamic routing successfully (11.1.1.5)?
    when trying to do it, none of the rules is selected, and when creating a function to test it on jdeveloper it returns an error :
    oracle.rules.sdk2.exception.SDKException: RUL-05016: The Java class "oracle.tip.mediator.rules.model.ObjectFactory" cannot be loaded. Ensure that the class and all its dependent classes are on either the class path or the user-specified path.
    The error message on the instance is:
    Non Recoverable Business Fault :
    Fact not found in the rule engine working memory, rule session execution failed. The rule session 771038 failed because an instance of the fact oracle.tip.mediator.rules.model.DynamicRouting could not be found in the working memory of the rule session. This is most likely a rule modeling error. The decision service interaction expects the fact instance to exist in the working memory of the rule session. Check the rule actions in rule designer and make sure that a fact of the expected type is being asserted. If the error persists, contact Oracle Support Services. 771038
    Any help?

    Hi,
    How are you planning to design your composite ? Right now system B uses Version 1, so you will be adding transformation for Version2 to Version 1.Once your System B is upgraded then it will have to consume Version2 of xsd, for which you have to remove the transformation from mediator and update your webservice with schema 2. In that case you have to redeploy your code.
    Are you planning to use BPEL after mediator, or directly you would be calling system B using mediator as standalone component?
    How much differenc is between version 1 and version 2 schemas structure wise? Are both of them altogether different ?

  • Dynamic Routing error

    Has anyone had any success with Dynamic Routing on SoaSuite 11.1.1.6. Either through a mediator or through a BPEL Phase activity?

    As Hisaak mentioned, try routing option if you want to set URI dynamically. To use the dynamic route action, you need the fully qualified name of the service in Oracle Service Bus as described in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/userguide/modelingmessageflow.html#wp1081507

  • Dynamic Routing? how to read files from 2 different directories?

    i need to do that..pick files but from 2 different locations..
    any simple idea?
    yes, the best simple is to have 2 bpels listenening to each directory...
    can i create only 1 BPEL?
    i heard about Dynamic Routing...too complex?
    Thanks!
    Pablo.

    Hi,
    I guess you can try it with Pick as the initial activity( With Create Instance Checked) and you map your two File Adapter to two On Message branches..
    I guess this should work but i am not sure how far this is reliable.. with Pick..
    Worth giving a try..
    Thanks,

  • BPEL 11g based Scheduling Using BPM Timer Activity

    Hi Team,
    Can any one throw Some light how to implement Oracle BPEL 11g based Scheduling (Not using QUARTZ, the open source scheduler).
    My client is not want to use QUARTZ, the open source scheduler.
    So can any one on the same.. the requirement is like every morning Syatem automatically assign tasks to the Next level Manager. So we need to USe Timer Activity of BPM 11g??
    Regards,
    Pavan

    Hi Vlad,
    I am not sure weather I have framed the question properly... let me frame it again...
    I've a Manager has 10 team leads and he will receive 50 task.
    And he manually selects selects 6 Leads(This is a manual activity).
    Then,
    a) Where we need to fetch the role from OID for which Lead belongs to which manager
    b) Scheduling i.e., Using BPEL based Java API activity using Timer Activity of BPM(or using some other process if we have) he needs to Route those 50 tasks to this 6 selected leads based on their skills and department. and this scheduling has to be daily task at 7am or 8am after manual process from Manager i.e., selecting the leads for tasks.
    Correct me if I have mentioned inadequate information...
    Note: As my client dont want Quartz Java based API. I really dont know the reason...(also can u please send me example for my reference quatrz 2.0 based.)

    Pavan

    But i need to Delimited and insert the data into table ..Here Header data insert into saperate table and
    middlle of the data insert into main table and footer data insert in another table it all happen one attempt by using file read Adapter(11.1.1.1.3)

    You have a header parameter in the file datastore. You can provide any number to skip rows from top of the file. For footer you can create a filter in staging area.
    Filter coould be something like this.
    where source_alias.source_column not like '%FOOTER_OR_ANY_VALUE_AS_PER_YOUR_REQ'

  • Issue in Dynamic routing (OSB)

    Hi,
    I implemented dynamic routing in OSB,using xQuery:-
    +<tradingPartnerList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="C:\bea910\user_projects\eclipse\TradingPartners.xsd">+
    +     <tp>+
    +          <Name>Platinum</Name>+
    +          <URL>DynamicDispatch/p1</URL>+
    +     </tp>+
    +<tp>+
    +          <Name>Gold</Name>+
    +          <URL>DynamicDispatch/p2</URL>+
    +     </tp>+
    +</tradingPartnerList>+
    I am routing it on to another proxy using following xml:-
    <ctx:route>
    <ctx:service isProxy='true'>{$endpoint}</ctx:service>
    <ctx:operation>null</ctx:operation>
    </ctx:route>
    Where the Endpoint is from the above xQuery..
    All work fine but i have a one Issue:-
    In <ctx:service isProxy='true'>{$endpoint}</ctx:service> we specify the folder structure of the proxyservice. but what if i move my proxy in future,if i move some of my proxy to other folder the xquery need to be changed which i feel is vv poor design.
    Is there any way where is can specify URL or URI of the proxy service????

    Is there any way where is can specify URL or URI of the proxy service????First of all, you would not like to move your resources here and there frequently in production. Secondly, if you move the resources, definitely you have to change X-Query/Message flow. There is no alternative.
    If you want this feature to be enhanced, please raise a ER with Oracle Support and if they find it valid, will provide a patch for the same.
    Regards,
    Anuj

  • Roll back in Adapter DataBase using Polling | BPEL 11g

    Hello Guys,
    I'm having a problem with roll back for polling "Update a field in Table(Logical Delete)" in DataBase Adapter BPEL 11g.
    My process is:
    Does polling in the table from the database changed the value in column from 0 for 1 and then put the message on a JMS queue.
    The problem is:
    When an exception occurs in the process, for example, exception when posting message in the queue, he does not roll back the database, then the value in the table column is changed to 1 and not 0 as it should.

          <property name="MaxTransactionSize" value="10"/>

    Its roll back?
    Could anyone please help me on this.
    Tks,
    Azevedo, Artur.

    You need to ensure that your process is working in a single transaction.
    You are correctly using the XA datasource.
    Next you need to ensure that you do not have a dehydration point in the process and if there is a call to another BPEL process they are in a same transaction.
